It's been several years since he last saw her.
Katsuki Bakugou thought he was the king of the world for a long time. And who could blame him? He had a great Quirk in a sea of mediocrity, he was given praise after praise, and he wasn't an idiot who couldn't strategize either.
But things changed as he grew older. His feelings changed as he grew older.
And now, he came to see an earlier event with much more discomfort.
"Step aside! We're gonna remind this jerk of his place!"
A greenette with a bang covering her left eye stood in place, shivering as she took a defensive stance, to Bakugou's amusement.
"What, you're really planning to face us? You're a Quirkless loser! Now move aside before you regret it!"
But she remained in place.
And Bakugou cracked his knuckles.
"So you've chosen death... fine by me."
To add insult to injury, that was the last time he saw her.
The last time he and his childhood friend ever met... and it was when him beat her up for standing up to him; what a way to go.
Not that he believed he actually killed her, he made sure to hold back enough to only hurt her, but her disappearance only made him more and more worried.
And given that the U.A. entrance exam was on the horizon, he really needed to deal with this... what was it called...
"Kacchan?"
The guy stopped and turned around, but he had to look down to find the person who was talking to him.
Or rather, the thing, as he saw a doll with glowing golden eyes staring at him-
Wait... Golden eyes?
"Are you talking to me?"
The doll nodded. "Remember me?"
One quick scan of the voice was all it took to stun him.
"Wait, are you... Midoriya-san?"
The doll giggled and tilted their head.
"It's been a while... Kacchan."
Hoko Midoriya! Quirk: Doll Channeler! She can put a piece of her soul onto a doll's body, which is visualized by the eyes of the doll-and one of her own-glowing golden! From there, she can control the doll completely, and any damage done to it won't transfer to her!
