Work Text:
It was the little things, Izuku noticed, that had him slowly falling in love with you.
The first of these things happened only shortly after you transferred into 2-A on a class outing to a theme park.
"Man, I wish I had enough money to get fries!" Uraraka exclaimed, throwing her arms into the air.
"Don't worry, 'Chako, I got a large, we can share!" You had smiled, thrusting them in her direction.
That's one of the little things, you always got a large.
But almost never ate any of it yourself.
When you had first transferred into UA, Izuku didn't know what to think about you. You weren't loud or brash, but you definitely weren't quiet either.
But somehow, you always managed to make yourself known.
Your eyes when you watched someone else do great things with their quirks, your wild gestures of care to make sure everyone else was okay after a long day of training.
Your smile when you'd first stepped into the classroom, although your posture was harsh and you sent Sensei a glare that would have had the world rocking on it's feet.
"Nice to meet you, everyone. My name is (Yn), and i'll be attending class with you from now on. Please treat me well."
Your simple introduction, even if it did feel slightly like a threat, more than anything.
For the last two months, you have been nothing but a curious creature to Izuku, more and more questions coming up rather than being answered.
Like the first time Kacchan tried to fight you.
"Oi! What's your problem? You think you're better than us because we don't know what your quirk is?"
You had turned around almost immediately, eyes narrowing only slightly. It was the first time the class got a feel of your true aura. "Are you trying to fight me or something?" You had mumbled, face unusually cold.
This is where another question of Izuku's came, but part of him was too scared to bring it up.
As you went to take another step closer, Aizawa swooped by, grabbed you by the arm and towed you out of the gym.
You hadn't backed down from Kacchan.
In the short time that he's known you, it was just these little things that brought a smile to his face.
Maybe it was too early to call it love, but this rare fascination had been sparked and isn't going away anytime soon.
