It is a hand on his back, on his shoulder, shielding his frail body or asking him not to get up, please, “don’t tire yourself”. Love is curious eyes following his every move, trying to determine what he will say next so another voice can finish his sentences for him. Love is something Viktor had never put much thought into until he’d seen its name written across multiple pages, impossible not to notice, more impossible yet to forget.
