Work Text:

Satoru finished buying the daifukus as souvenirs later with Yuuji next to him, visibly still blushing and trying to regain his composure. It's really adorable how such a little gesture could have such a big impact on his student– not that Satoru was surprised, he encountered many things like this before, but having the chance to relive them again is something refreshing.

The clerk gave Satoru the paper bag and he thanked him before proceeding to gently tread his fingers through Yuuji's pink locks, surprising the latter. He wanted to tell his student that they could leave as they were done, but Satoru figured that just telling him by words would be boring; his warm hand softly massaged Yuuji's scalp, letting the boy purr as he turned all his attention towards his teacher.

"We're done," Satoru announced with a smile as he was looking at his student with full of warmth "stop spacing out, yeah?" Yuuji nodded almost immediately. The white haired shaman just chuckled as he lifted his hand off his student's head, placing it on Yuuji's back instead while he urged the boy to walk away with him.

With one hand in his pocket, paper bag hanging from his wrist and the other hand on Yuuji's back, they walked around Tokyo, enjoying the free time they have on the weekends. Satoru looked around for particular interesting spots that he and Yuuji could enjoy, he's sure that the boy wouldn't mind going anywhere as long as he's with his teacher.

Careful there, careful

Satoru reminded himself, trying to hold back the overwhelming feeling of power over the boy getting into his head. It's true that Satoru could do anything he wants to his student and his student would give consent almost immediately, but  he shouldn't abuse his power like that. He doesn't want to get all cocky and end up hurting Yuuji like that— he doesn't want to experience the loss of someone important to him ever again, he has suffered enough for a God.

Holding so much control over something– over someone is making his head clouded. The responsibility that comes with it is heavy, and Satoru has never liked taking responsibility for anything whatsoever. He liked to be free, not chained by anything, act out on his own will and not under people's orders. He decides how his life goes, not other people, and he'll do anything he wants because he can. No one could control him if they tried anyways, Satoru would never listen.

So why is this boy making him listen ?

Listen to his rational thoughts and not to his desires.

Oftentimes he would shake his head to break free from all the bad intentions that appeared in his mind. His hand would twitch whenever he tried to hold himself back and not just- do whatever he wants to the boy. One word and Yuuji would listen attentively. One simple gesture and Yuuji would melt, putty in Satoru's hands. One look and Yuuji would stare back with bright eyes, putting all his trust on Satoru.

Yuuji is too good for him.

Too good for someone as bad as him.

But despite all of that, Satoru didn't abuse his power and actually listened to the thoughts that wanted to keep Yuuji safe no matter what; keep his student close with him whenever they're out and make sure no one dares to lay a finger on his student. Satoru is aware of what the boy is capable of, he's very aware of his potential and really, he's proud of his student— but something inside him still wants to keep Yuuji safe.

Yuuji's naivety wont do him any good. He's too pure for this cruel and sick sick world. It's like Satoru is witnessing the birth of a God that's gonna be the next Gojo Satoru; Yuuji's still learning, Yuuji's still observing, and Satoru expects him to fall many times before flawlessly succeeding without any effort like his teacher.

What Satoru didn't understand was, why would Yuuji do it again?

It's not like he didn't understand, he just simply trusts people too much and believes that there's good in everything, even if it was evident that the other person is nothing but sin. His concept of humanity is simple; everyone is kind deep down in their hearts, they're just hurt. He doesn't need a reason to show his kindness just because of that.

This is what Satoru worries about.

Satoru encountered these types of things when he was a kid. A naive kid, pure hearted, but still aware of the dangers that the world holds despite it revolving around him. He grew up and understood more of it as he spent time with Ieri and Suguru. They allowed him to be himself, one even made him experience all the things he didn't expect he needed, just to see it all get taken away before his eyes.

He failed to save his best friend, someone he considered as an equal— someone he accepts wholeheartedly that he's Satoru's partner in crime, both filled with unmatched strength and limitless power.

He doesn't want that to happen to his student.

He was given the chance to experience the wonderful feeling again, to go back to his paradise and tend it once more. He wants this one to last, and not just rot away like his last one.

Yuuji nudged Satoru's shoulder with his cheek as he was somewhat shorter than his teacher "said the one who told me to stop spacing out," the boy snickered, stopping their steps to let Satoru compose himself.

"My bad," the blue eyed shaman laughed softly as he removed his hand from Yuuji's back before shoving it back to his pocket.

A wide grin appeared on Satoru's face as his aviators slid down the bridge of his nose, revealing his strikingly gorgeous crystal blue eyes " 's there a particular place you wanna go?"

A hint of blush spread on Yuuji's cheeks the moment he met his gaze with his teacher's crystal blue orbs "anywhere is fine–"

"as long as it's with you," he said the last bit with a voice barely above a whisper, letting it get drowned by the sounds of the people buzzing around them. He hopes that his Teacher doesn't hear that last part, though he doubts that, considering Satoru's powers.

The white haired male only hummed and gently ruffled his student's hair. There's something about Yuuji's hair that makes it so irresistible to ruffle and mess with. Sure there isn't much to grab but it's incredibly soft for someone as careless as Yuuji– maybe Satoru didn't quite put all his attention towards his student this whole time. Maybe he didn't quite know about Yuuji as much as he thought.

Now here they are, in Satoru's bedroom, inside Satoru's apartment. The man figured that Yuuji didn't like crowds all that much— besides,  Satoru has everything that Yuuji possibly needs.

It's all warm and cozy here too, plus there's a balcony where they can see the view of Tokyo from above.

Yuuji's eyes widened in admiration once he stepped foot inside the room; walls painted in bone white with royal blue undertones- black bed sheets, yellow calming lights placed on the headboard, slightly afar from the bed accompanied with an ac and a room freshener. It looks so neat and organised, smells like Satoru too– it's wonderful, so welcoming.

"Sensei, your bed is so comfy!" Yuuji said as he slightly bounced on the bed before letting his whole body flop onto the bed, leaving no room for Satoru to sit down. The boy pulled one of the pillows to his hold while he was on his stomach, setting the pillow below his chin to support his head.

Satoru had one of his hands on his hip as he watched Yuuji get comfortable with his surroundings- seems like it didn't take long for the boy to bury his face deep into one of Satoru's pillows,  letting his face sink onto the soft cushion.

"comfortable already ?" Satoru muses, walking over to his student.

There were only muffled noises as Yuuji answered with his head still buried in the pillow; hands slipped under the cushion.

The white haired shaman didn't even bother trying to get an understandable answer from his student, he seems like he's enjoying himself "scoot over, i'm gonna lay down" the boy took the pillow with him and rolled over to give Satoru some space to lay down.

As he saw Yuuji giving him some space to lay down, he carefully slid his body onto the bed, making himself comfortable as Yuuji was busy doing whatever he's doing beside him. His hand reached over to the nightstand, grabbing his remote before turning on the smart TV in front of them.

It was already evening when they got to Satoru's apartment.  Not that they were complaining, but Satoru had other plans before taking Yuuji to his place. Maybe showing off his talents for a little bit and bedazzle the boy– take him to a nice cafe and treat him to some sweets, or take him to an outfit shop, buy both of them matching clothes, but not that evident.

Satoru liked Yuuji better in his clothes anyways.

Yuuji lifted up his head and turned it to Satoru's direction, then twisted it a bit to see what was playing on the TV before going back to Satoru.

"What do you wanna watch?" Satoru asked, eyes still glued on the screen.

"You?" Yuuji mumbled against the pillow, eyes averting away from Satoru's direction, thinking that his Teacher didn't hear him.

Satoru's crystal blue orbs twinkled with mischief before he attacked his student with a heart-warming hug, making Yuuji roll over to his back, and a heartfelt laugh coming out of Satoru's lips "Yuuuji, when did you get so smooth?" Satoru teased, pinning his student to the bed as both of his hands were placed on the bed for support.

Yuuji used the pillow he grabbed to hide his  blushing face away from Satoru. The grip on Satoru's pillow was so tight that he's afraid it'll tear apart– though he's more afraid of Satoru seeing his beet red face at the moment.

A wide grin appeared on the white haired shaman's face as he lowered his body down, now using both of his forearms for support as he placed them down on the bed, slightly hovering over Yuuji's body and his goddamn pillow.

If Yuuji isn't gonna throw his pillow away, maybe light kisses will help; Satoru fully lowered his body down until it's pressed against Yuuji's,  letting him bury his face in the crook of Yuuji's neck and slide his arms beneath Yuuji's shoulders, making sure it wasn't making the boy uncomfortable.

" Yuuji baby, answer me" Satoru said as he trailed soft kisses down Yuuji's neck, pressing his lips firmer on that one hickey Satoru left earlier when they were buying daifuku.

Yuuji could feel a chuckle against his skin as his nails made sounds from pulling the pillow too much, surpassing a whine. No fair, Satoru is  being such a tease and he couldn't do anything about it but to stay still and take it— even his body is being too honest for his liking, tilting his head a bit to the side to give his teacher more access to his neck.

His teacher decided to let his body go lax as he laid himself down against Yuuji's body, placing his torso between Yuuji's thighs, comfortably pressing their body together with Satoru's face on the crook of Yuuji's neck, breathing softly- the boy is trying so so hard to regain his composure but with every breath Satoru exhaled on his very very sensitive neck, all his efforts were thrown out of the window like it never existed.

Yuuji was practically burning at this point, and he knows his teacher wouldn't give up that easily until he gets what he wants. He tried to put up a bit of a fight earlier but it seems like it's going nowhere– and so, he decided to take a peek at his teacher by slowly removing the pillow from his face, uncovering his features that were dusted by various shades of red.

What the boy didn't expect was, his teacher to stare back at him with a mischievous grin plastered on his face, and before Yuuji could cover his face again,  Satoru snatched the pillow from his student, throwing it away from Yuuji's reach.

"Mmmmm?" Satoru cooed, fawning over the blushing boy in front of him.

The peach haired boy kept his eyes away from Satoru's, refusing to answer the blue eyed shaman that's currently on top of him, not giving him mercy as he kept teasing the poor boy.

As much as Satoru wanted to tease the boy, he thinks that he should make Yuuji comfortable first; the pillow he snatched is now placed against the headboard behind Yuuji's head. The taller male then urged his student to lean back on it instead of laying on the bed. It'll be more comfortable for the both of them in this position.

Yuuji obeyed despite the situation he's in, leaning back on headboard, cushioned comfortably with the pillow behind his back as he now sat upright. Satoru was still clinging onto his student, not wanting to let go as he lays his head down on Yuuji's abdomen, looking up at the boy.

Without realizing, Yuuji's hands went up to his teacher's snowy white locks, tenderly raking his fingers through it as Satoru lets out a pleased hum, closing his eyes and letting his student do whatever he wants in this somewhat lovely moment.

"i learned from you," he said softly, fingers still going through his teacher's hair, giving a light massage to his scalp "this too," he added.

" 's that so" Satoru muses,  opening his eyes once again only to immediately lock it with his student's, smiling warmly afterwards.

Yuuji nodded, faint colours of pink still decorating his cheeks. It feels nice having his teacher in a warm situation like this– for once Yuuji gets to give Satoru some little form of affection by combing his hair gently.  Usually it'd be Satoru that's giving the tiny forms of affection, whether they're in public or not, his teacher won't hesitate to show how much he treasures his student.

Yes it's evident to Yuuji that his teacher treasures him more than he treasures himself, but sometimes Yuuji would forget that and just let himself drown in his own negative feelings. He was being treasured by someone he considers as the most powerful person on earth, possibly on Heavens too for God's sake, Satoru could just throw him out anytime if he doesn't want Yuuji anymore.

Satoru could just erase all the memories they have together and treat it as if they were nothing, and all of this never happened.

Were they ever something to begin with?

Silly Yuuji, he thought that there's already something between him and Satoru, when in reality, Satoru didn't even speak a word about what they have between them. He never addressed it and always avoided questions regarding what they have between them, smoothly changing the topic to something else.

"Satoru," Yuuji called out to his teacher, voice small and hesitant. His fingers didn't stop their movements despite the negative emotions lingering in the boy's mind.

Satoru hums "no sensei?" , smiling sweetly at his student while he lets Yuuji continue with his words.

The boy only chuckled a little, shaking his head before taking a deep breath, composing himself. He wanted to ask his teacher what they have between them— if there's even something between them. If Satoru really does have something for him.

He's usually fine with his teacher not addressing this matter, but as the fleeting touches, light teasing and banters kept on happening, he was starting to get tired; tired of getting lost in what it seems like endless self doubt, questioning his self worth in Satoru's eyes.

"what's this between us?"

Satoru only closed his eyes, figuring that there would  always be times where Yuuji asked these types of questions. He expected that one day he would have to answer it and not run away from it like always.

Satoru's tired of running anyways.

When did he start running?

Running away from responsibilities, running away from feelings, running away from emotions— running away from himself. He's been running for almost his entire life since Suguru happened.

He believed that nothing could touch him, he was invincible to pain and anything that comes with it. That's what naive Satoru believed, and the present Satoru realizes how wrong his past was.

Being a God amongst the mortal doesn't mean you can get rid of your humanity easily like that. Your humanity would always be there, reminding you that no matter how much strength and willpower you held, you're rendered useless when it comes to emotions.

You thought that you have discarded them long ago.

It would never happen, you can't discard the humane traits you have. You just can't.

"what do you want it to be?" Satoru asked back, opening his eyes and keeping his gentle gaze on his student as he tightened his hold around Yuuji's abdomen, but still careful as he didn't want to hurt the boy.

Yuuji fell silent for a few minutes. He didn't want to be greedy. He didn't want to be selfish. He couldn't just say that he wanted Satoru all to himself and confirm that the feelings he held back all this time were true. He wanted to tell Satoru that his life depended on him– if Satoru were to leave, his life would crumble down, along with his faith in everything.

I want it to be true.

Yuuji kept that sentence to himself, never letting it escape from his lips.

I want to be fully yours.

He knows he can't say all of this, he could only keep it in his mind, let it linger there for as long as it could.

"I…" Yuuji answered, voice tiny and not so bright anymore.

Fuck it, he's going to say it, its all or never. At this point he just hopes for the best. If Satoru doesn't give him the answer he expected, then really he's just delusional all this time.

"I want it to be true—"

"Want to be yours."
