After a long night about the sheets, Shen Qingqiu decided he should ban Luo Binghe from kissing if he wanted to live.
As if barely surviving a battlefield, Shen Qingqiu was rendered half-alive with a ridiculous myriad of bruised wounds all over his skin, looking very unsightly and feeling very hurt – ultimately, the more he was bruised, the more Luo Binghe was driven to leave more marks. Just a bit more strength and he would end up no different from the original goods Shen Qingqiu.
Well, Shen Qingqiu thought, it didn’t matter much. His bruises healed easily and it wasn’t like they had sex every single day; but last night, Luo Binghe’s canine teeth may have morphed into fangs and now, lucky enough to have woken up from nearly getting half of his face torn apart, Shen Qingqiu felt his lips aching, somewhat swollen, and still tasted of blood.
Shouldn’t have mattered if that dog-like husband of his didn’t take every opportunity, no matter how brief, to kiss.
“You can kiss me anywhere but my lips,” Shen Qingqiu reprimanded him, holding himself back from giving in to Luo Binghe’s pout with all his might, “Just for a day to let me heal. Just for a day – time flies by before you know it.”
Having made his shizun bleed, Luo Binghe knew he was wrong and had the conscience to not kneel and beg for a lighter sentence. Still, his heartache was so evident that Shen Qingqiu could physically feel it in his chest; and his automatic response was to pat Luo Binghe’s head. Luo Binghe didn’t say anything, only looking at the floor and...slipped down from the bed and fell to his knees to hug Shen Qingqiu’s leg.
“I have hurt shizun...this disciple is very, very guilty.”
“Next time, don’t torment your shizun like that again, all right?”
“Yes,” Luo Binghe nuzzled his face against Shen Qingqiu’s thigh, his cheek lightly squished, “It was just that, shizun looked really beautiful when reddened by me.”
“...”
Why are you saying this, are you an incurable S now!
Shen Qingqiu caressed Luo Binghe’s forehead, tucking a strand of hair away from his glassy eyes, and Luo Binghe took his wrist, pressing his lips on Shen Qingqiu’s finger. “As I said, you can kiss me anywhere else. Say, how is a kiss on the cheek any different than from the lips?”
Luo Binghe was quick to refute, “Of course it’s different, shizun.”
Yeah, Shen Qingqiu agreed – he almost wanted to drop dead from saying something that stupid. Even a child knows it’s different. Although, when it came to Luo Binghe, a kiss on the cheek was just a kiss, while a kiss on the lips doubled as a bite.
“Right. It is. But it’s better than a total ban.”
“Mm. Shizun, you still love me, right?”
He kissed Shen Qingqiu’s palm next, careful and gentle, afraid that going further than a dainty brush would forbid him from kissing Shen Qingqiu forever. Shen Qingqiu felt a sigh on his skin, and he softened.
“Very much,” and then added, quieter, “More than anything.”
There was a spark flashing across Luo Binghe’s eyes, a wave of fondness that seeped to his cheeks as a pink blush, then to his mouth as a smile, aglow with joy, then to another kiss on Shen Qingqiu’s hand.
For the rest of the day, Luo Binghe seemed to not have something else better to do than chasing Shen Qingqiu around to kiss his face, his head, his hands, his neck, anywhere on him that wasn’t covered in clothes. Even when Luo Binghe had to sit down to do work, he’d walk over to Shen Qingqiu to kiss him at regular intervals and, apart from a light nibble on Shen Qingqiu’s ear once, he was being incredibly soft, becoming puppy-like rather than dog-like.
This...just because he could kiss Shen Qingqiu anywhere but his lips, it didn’t mean that he should kiss him everywhere!
But he was so cute and Shen Qingqiu thought he’d suffer from withdrawal symptoms if were to implement a total ban...
Having discovered this loophole, Luo Binghe exploited the hell out of it until Shen Qingqiu had received a lifetime stock of kisses by nighttime.
Luo Binghe was kissing his knuckles, peppering feathery touches on the individual crests and troughs, kissing as if his heart couldn’t take it. As Shen Qingqiu combed his hair with the other hand, he noticed that Luo Binghe would look longingly at him every once in a while, his gaze begging for reciprocation – and Shen Qingqiu returned with a smile each time.
Of course, a smile wasn’t what Luo Binghe expected in return. Among the hundred times Luo Binghe had kissed him today, Shen Qingqiu had only repaid him a handful of times.
He realized that he’s wronged his very sweet Binghe and retracted his hand away, to Luo Binghe’s greatest shock. “Ssh, Binghe, sit nicely and face me.”
Following Shen Qingqiu’s command, he looked like he was close to tears. Shen Qingqiu wanted to kiss that frown away; Luo Binghe always loved it the most when he initiated a kiss, and, maybe, he could also act on his revenge munching on Luo Binghe.
But not right now, the day was yet to end right now.
Shen Qingqiu climbed onto Luo Binghe’s lap. By reflex, Luo Binghe put his hands on his hips, and, seeing Shen Qingqiu shift closer to him, he circled his arms around his waist, secure but still gentle.
“Shizun, what is it?”
“How many times have you kissed me today?”
“I...have lost count.”
“How many times have I kissed you today?”
“...I didn’t count.”
Counting his own good deeds but not counting the good deeds his beloved shizun did to him, what a difficult child!
“From now on, count carefully.”
The first kiss was on Luo Binghe’s hair. Luo Binghe’s fingers twitched. Shen Qingqiu moved downwards, meeting his demon mark and kissing him there, more delicate this time – and then, to his temples, his eyelids, the bridge of his nose, everywhere. Shen Qingqiu continued to kiss his face, all parts of him like tracing an elaborate constellation, marking him in a less territorial, more loving way. His kisses were dreamy and nice, and Luo Binghe savored all of it, whispering his counts in near-silent mutters.
His whisper halted, and never started again, when Shen Qingqiu kissed him on his lips.
There was no bite, no nibble, not even on Luo Binghe’s side; Luo Binghe moved his hands to Shen Qingqiu’s head to bring him closer, unable to keep himself from slightly roughening the kiss up. Shen Qingqiu didn’t stop him – he liked it, very much, more than anything.
“Did you count? How many was it?”
“It was sixty-nine.”
“...”
Nice.
“Is it truly all right for me to kiss shizun properly again?” Luo Binghe’s question was polite, but his eyes glowed in so much anticipation that Shen Qingqiu panicked a little. “This disciple has learned his lesson very well.”
“Yes, the punishment has been lifted. Kiss away.”
Who knew, the one-day punishment was too effective and Luo Binghe became exceedingly gentle every time and ended up not spicing things up...and Shen Qingqiu once again found himself reconsidering his life choices.
