"The museum was full of tourists, families, and students needing inspiration for their school work. It was more tightly packed than Lan Wangji liked, but what could he do about crowds during the summer months? A-Yuan didn’t seem to like the crowds either, burying his face against Lan Wangji’s neck. Wei Ying crooned to A-Yuan that it was alright.
“There’s a butterfly exhibit, A-Yuan. We’re just going there and then we can leave if you want,” Wei Ying promised.
“Butterflies?” A-Yuan asked hesitantly, his voice almost a whimper.
“Mn. We shall go,” Lan Wangji said.
A-Yuan brightened up at that but rested in Lan Wangji’s arms comfortably. The exhibit was a little temporary thing that Lan Wangji had to pay a little extra for. His men bowed out of going in. A sneaky little tactic that Lan Wangji assumed Lan Zhiqiang had to do with to give Wei Ying, Lan Wangji, and A-Yuan space. A-Yuan was enraptured by the exhibit, Wei Ying smiling the whole time."
