   Summary

   They were often teamed up due to the complementary nature of their quirks, they worked like oil and fire, one pushed and the other pulled, flashy and brilliant, with all the destructive strength of a force of nature. As time passed they got closer, they trusted each other and they cared for each other, and eventually, Shouto managed to creep under Katsuki's prickly armor and stole his heart. They started dating, got an apartment together, had matching rings - all the things that Katsuki wouldn't have ever imagined doing with another person. He was happy, and everything was perfect.

   But now as he stood in the dark, peering through the slit of the door to their kitchen, he didn't know how to feel.
