Summary
Dimitri didn't just do it because he liked to be lead, liked to obey and to please. He needed it – he had days where he was so restless and riled up that he didn't know where to put all of his stagnant feelings. It didn't take much, Dimitri was a complicated man with way too complex thoughts and feelings for himself to make sense of. He was very bad at putting emotions into words, he had a tendency to rather act than speak, which made 'just talking about what was bothering him' nearly impossible.
That was when Claude had to take it away from him. Everything he was worrying about and brooding over, because it wouldn't do him any good. When he had to be pushed into a place where none of it mattered, where such thoughts were the farthest thing from his mind because it was full of Claude and what Claude said, what he commanded.
