Summary
Jeongguk’s gaze had gone from inexpressive to a hardened, more aggravated glare by the time Jimin finished his speech. He bends down to grab his bag and Jimin feels both shocked and relieved, thinking Jeongguk is giving up already and inadvertently releasing Jimin from the promise that confines him. But then he comes back up and slams a travel mug onto the table, the sound piercing through the silent atmosphere. Jimin doesn’t have to look around to know everyone else in the room is staring at them and he has to refrain from blowing up on Jeongguk, knowing it’ll only make the situation worse.
“What the fuck is this?” Jimin hisses.
