   Reid scowled at him, pulling open the passenger’s side door and tossing his satchel to the floor space. “No, he was lamenting the loss of you, actually. He thought we were-” Reid cut himself off, blushing infuriatingly.
   Derek had caught it, his grin so wide it was crinkling the corners of his eyes. “Oh, you should be so lucky, Pretty Boy.”
