Chapter Text

“Yes, I understand that your client needs to have the payment done today but we’re understaffed here. What? What do you mean I’m slacking off? I’m working off my ass just to fulfil your selfish… You know what, it will be done by 2 and no more before that, ok? Have a good day”

He hangs up his phone and begins working on his assignment.

Aizawa Izuku, 25 years old, Banker.

Working in the biggest Bank in Japan in Remittance Department, basically making sure each payment goes through for big corporations while liaising with the relationship managers.

Can he say that it is his dream job?

Nah, the payment is great but other than that his quality-of-life sucks.

What is the use of having big income if he doesn’t have time to spend it?

He remembers when he needs to take an emergency leave one day to take for his brother who suddenly got sick with flu and since only two of them are living so far away from their parents, it is natural for him to take care of his own brother.

Not to mention his omega instinct can’t let his stupid alpha twin brother suffers by himself.

Yet his boss wasn’t really pleased with that and ended up giving him one day leave without pay. Izuku was so pissed off by that but Hitoshi is more important so he just sucked it up like a big omega that he is.

Speaking of omega, according to the company policy he is entitled to get heat leave every month and he gets a full week off being a special class of omega. In practice, he has been abusing the hell lots of suppressants and scents blocker because his boss is a sexist beta who doesn’t care how sick Izuku is during his heat.

One day he forgot to put a scent blocker and an Alpha almost bit him on his neck.

Yeah, fun times.

“Aizawa” his pathetic excuse of human being boss suddenly appears next to him.

“Yes, boss” as he replies without looking. He is too busy doing his work.

“I got a complaint from Corporate Banking Department no. 3 about your attitude” he tries to rile him up, ain’t going to work here. Izuku is just doing his job, can he get off his back?

“I’m aware, they were asking an impossible request. I relented and did their request eventhough it means I have to work until 10 PM today” Izuku’s words are sweet but laced in so much venom.

“Well, you could say it nicer? That is why I was against having omega in this team. You can’t do anything right. Not even being hospitable since omegas are known to be maternal” he keeps on with the insults.

Izuku grits his teeth but he can’t do anything as he needs to concentrate on his work. Don’t get his more reasons to undermine you.

Izuku couldn’t care less about his boss’ opinions towards him but he just doesn’t want to get punished by him giving him more work.

“Anyway, just finish your work and have a nice weekend” as he snarls and leaves.

Izuku takes a deep breath looking at his surroundings.

Really?

None of his co-workers are defending him. Not even a pat on his back or giving a nod of understanding. Some even giggle behind him, literally.

Gosh, this is the worst.

Izuku continues typing and clicking like there is no tomorrow.

He needs to get home and drowns himself in his own sadness and disappointment.

As it turns out, he finishes his work at 11 PM. Great.

He hurriedly takes a train home where is packed with people who are going partying in Shibuya. Oh, right.

Today is Friday night and Izuku as always, has no plan.

He looks at the train window and seeing the city’s skyline and the lights feeling melancholic.

As he arrives at the nearest station, he walks slowly as he enters the konbini next to the station. The nice cashier smiles at him.

“The usual?” he asks.

“Yeah, too tired to cook” Izuku give shim a weak smile.

The cashier nods in understanding.

“Mood. God, I hate those days” he says sympathetically.

“Tell me about it” Izuku lets out a chuckle.

“There you go, I have warmed it up in the microwave” as he packs his karaage bento into his reusable bag.

“That would be 500 Yen”

Izuku hands over the money.

“Perfect, thank you for your patronage and I hope you have a great weekend” he bows.

Izuku nods as he leaves the konbini with a better feeling in his chest.

“I guess life is not that sucks after all” as he feels his steps are much lighter.

Suddenly, he feels a drop of water falling from above.

“Huh?”

Drop by drop water begins falling. Uh oh, it’s raining and it is getting harder.

Izuku has to run back home to his apartment and it is 15 minutes away from station.

Shoot, he takes it back what he said.

Life is sucks.

Izuku’s apartment is conveniently located in the City Centre and it is a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, dining room and a living room decorated in minimalist style. His bathroom and toilet are separated.

The rent is costly but he doesn’t care. He is making enough money to afford this type of lifestyle but he doesn’t really have time to enjoy it.

He carefully strips in the foyer as he doesn’t want to dirty the floor as he steps carefully to his room.

He puts his dirty clothes into his washing basket as he takes a quick shower.

After a quick shower he realises that he lost his bento when he was panicking due to sudden rain.

“Stupid” he grumbles as he chops up some carrots and potatoes, trying to cook a curry because it is easy. He also turns on his rice cooker to make some rice.

While stirring the pot, he begins to reflect on his life.

Izuku is the son of an alpha male and an omega male. His omega dad, Shouta, is a university lecturer and his pop, Hizashi is a radio host in their hometown, Musutafu.

Izuku has a fraternal twin named Hitoshi and he is an alpha. Hitoshi and Izuku are as thick as thieves and both are really depended on each other. Until Hitoshi got himself a boyfriend. Izuku likes him but they don’t hang out as frequent as before, sadly. Hitoshi works as a surgeon in Tokyo.

He also has a sister who is 7 years younger named Eri and she is an omega. Eri just graduated high school and aspires to be a nurse. She will continue her education in the local college in their hometown because pops don’t want to be apart from her.

Izuku is lucky to be born in an when being omega is more normalized. In the old era, people only thought of omegas as less than human and some omegas even became the victim of human trafficking. Though the prejudice remains as many people think omegas are not as capable as alphas or betas since they have heat every month. Which is baffling, since alphas also have ruts.

Izuku managed to graduate from UA Highschool, the most prestigious highschool in Japan with his brother and managed to enter University of Tokyo to learn finance.

After that he got a job at the biggest bank in Japan.

It may seem like a dream but it is not fun at all.

Izuku snaps out of his day dream when he realises that the pot is overflowing with water.

He frantically turns the heat off while cursing that he needs to clean off the mess.

He takes a glance at the rice cooker and realises that he hasn’t switched on the device.

He sobs as he cooks again.

After uneventfully earing his tasteless curry, Izuku checks his smartphone and there is only one message from his dad.

Dadzawa

Problem child, don’t forget tomorrow we will be having dinner at Hitoshi’s.

Your pop has been missing you like crazy. You can call sometimes, you know (23:30)

Izuku just replies it with thumbs up emoji.

“Is there more life than this?” he asks himself the same question everyday.

He turns on the television when there is a commercial.

“Tired about your mundane city life?

Wanna feel refreshed everyday by living around nature?

Then, what are you waiting for! Call this number to try out to be a farmer at Mineral Town!”

“Mineral Town? That’s where grandpa and grandma live. Wait a second… Grandpa?!”

A blonde man with a wide smile and bulky body speaks with a loud voice telling people to move to countryside. No way, that is Izuku’s grandpa.

Suddenly, there is a ping on his phone.

Dadzawa

Your idiot grandpa is trying to sell our family farm because he doesn’t have time to tend it. That idiot.. He even puts an ad on the TV (00:20)

“Dad, you need to sleep earlier” Izuku lets out a sigh.

“Mineral Town, huh?” and a light bulb suddenly appears on his head.

Morning at Izuku’s condo, Setagaya, Tokyo

Morning has risen in the quiet corner in Tokyo with people begins to start their lazy weekend activity. Some people are not lazy though since they are jogging around their neighbourhood or walking their dog while saying hi towards each other like a civilized person.

Setagaya Ward itself is well known as the home of the rich and snobs in Tokyo with the rent average here for 1 bedroom apartment is much higher or even doubled the apartment in outskirt of Tokyo such as Hachioji.

Izuku rents a one bedroom in Setagaya Ward for its proximity to his office as well as to brag to his parents that he has made it.

Izuku has been a hard worker all his life and by graduating from top class from Tokyo University, the most prestigious university in Japan, proves that.

However, he is not really a people person. Social skills are not his forte and he knows that. Why? Because he doesn’t have many friends, he doesn’t even know if the people he thought as friends look at him the same way as they rarely invite him for a meal or something.

Because those people are mostly his online friends whom he got to know via online forum he stumbled. Izuku has always been a geek who loves old comics and he got to know fellow enthusiast via the internet since the only people who share his hobby are his siblings. It may seem sad but Izuku is particularly close with IcyHot, ChickenWings, Cremators, ManifestTako, LeMillion, LordExplosionMurder, DoctorIida, FloatyLumberjack, EarphoneJack, RedRiot, PhantomThief, GaleForce and RanchLifeisHard. For some reasons, Izuku feels like these people know each other in real life but none of them admitted it.

Yeah, we can say that Izuku has 0 real friends.

Oh shoot, no. Scratch that.

Izuku has one real world friend, a fellow graduate of UA Highschool. A baker named Sato.

And he has an appointment today.

The sun creeps into his blinds and slowly burning his expose stomach. Izuku still fast asleep and snores loudly in a really uncomfortable position on his couch. He fell asleep last night after watching a cheesy romcom while eating a pizza all by himself. Some of the pizza crumbs are still remaining around his mouth and frankly, he looks like a mess.

Suddenly the alarm rings.

“Shit! I’m late for work!” he automatically runs to the bathroom and does his weekdays routine when he throws his clothes on the floor, brush his teeth and takes a quick shower. He then hurriedly puts on his suits when he realises that today is Saturday.

“What the fuck?!” he slumps down on his floor. Can’t believe that it is happening again, three times this month.

“Gosh, what a great way to start a weekend” he grumbles as he takes off his suits and changes into something more casual. As usual, he picks his trustworthy trainers and his uni hoodie.

He then sluggishly walks to the bathroom to pick up his clothes and throws it away to washing basket. He then lets out a sigh when he sees the condition of his house.

Three big garbage bundles are standing on the floor in the kitchen, waiting to be thrown away. Clothes, everyway in his living room floor, a remainder of his hellish week when he hadn’t had the chance to properly sleep on his bed since he tends to eat and falls asleep not too long after he eats dinner on his couch without changing into his pyjamas.

Bento boxes and beers cans everywhere in the floor, crisps (or chips as you call in the US) scatters on the coffee table and pizza crumbs and box on the couch.

Lovely, if he has a boyfriend he’d definitely get on his feet and propose when he sees how charming Izuku’s room is.

Good thing that his bedroom is spotless. Since he hasn’t sleep in it for a month.

“I have to clean all of this?” he groans as he picks the crisps and throwing it in the pizza box.

Izuku picks up all the scattered food and its packages from the floor and couch before throwing it on the garbage bag. He then checks the day if today is burnable garbage day or unburnable garbage one (yes, in the Japan they have the schedule to pick up garbage based on the types. Each type has their own bag and each prefecture have different rules). Perfect, burnable garbage day.

Izuku then picks up the 4 bags and he goes to the garbage designated area in his condo while complaining how cold today is.

When he comes back to his condo, he turns off his cleaner robot and makes a simple breakfast. What is simpler than a cereal? Izuku is not a good cook and he mostly survives in ready made food or super easy food like curry rice.

He checks on his phone as he eats.

There are three messages. one from Pops, one from Eri and one from Sato.

Pops

Izukuuuuuuu, don’t forget for the dinner today!!! I’ll terrorize you if you forget, Little Listener!! (Yesterday, 1AM)

Izuku chuckles at the message. Pops always call them his “little listener” as a term of endearment since he owns a radio station and himself a DJ and a radio host in their hometown of Musutafu, Shizuoka. He just bought a local TV station last year and he seems enjoying juggling both businesses.

Izuku sends out a smile emoji to him.

Next, Eri. Eri the little cheeky sweetheart. The apple of the eye of his parents, which is also her downfall.

Both Izuku and Eri are omegas and in their parents’ eyes, it means taking necessary safety precautions are a must. What is that you asked? It means absolutely, under any circumstances that they are not allowed to date.

Which is unfair because they don’t give the same warning to Hitoshi who is an Alpha.

Izuku still remembers the grin his mom and pops made when they comforted him as he cried for not having any suitors who were willing to take him to prom.

At the end, they settled by asking Hitoshi to be his plus one to prom. How embarrassing is that having your twin as your prom date? Later he learnt from Sato, who is an Alpha and actually wanted to court him (surprise, surprise) that many Alphas were intimidated by his parents.

He tried once to court him by leaving him a gift on his home for 5 days straight (an old fashion way of Alpha courting an omega) but no response from Izuku. He was heartbroken but one day he saw an Alpha leaving a gift for Izuku in front of his house and his enraged pops stomping on the courtyard, taking away the gift and shoved it into the communal garbage can.

Izuku was fuming when he heard that and went to confront his parents.

“No child of mine is allowed to date until they reach 25 years old” his sleepy mom lazily responded to his tantrum.

“I’m gonna be off the market by then! Mom, you know how hard it is to be unmated omega at the age of 25? It will be next to impossible to find a mate at that age!” sadly omegas over 25 years old are deemed too old in this society and Izuku who wants to have many pups, is really upset with his overprotective parents.

Sadly, even after he moved out from his house, he hasn’t managed to find a mate. His job is too demanding and finding mate inside his workplace? Ugh, Izuku doesn’t want to marry Alpha or Beta who looks down on omegas.

His life became even more complicated hen he turned 24 last year when he fainted one day after having a particularly painful heat which he supressed with grade A suppressant, as usual. Doctor diagnosed him to be a special class omega.

They call him a Pack Omega, a special class and rarest among omegas. His heat will be worse than most omegas and longer, he is also likely to take more than one mates as his body can take maximum 15 mates, unlike normal omegas who can only take one mate after being bitten in the scent gland. Which is bad news if his overprotective parents know.

Alphas are extremely territorial, despite poly relationships are more prominent and normalized these days, most Alphas don’t like sharing their omega mates. Such a bad luck, Izuku is pretty much has given up when it comes to marriage after hearing that.

He keeps it as a secret from anyone since he doesn’t need extra stress from his parents and siblings. His work has made him stressed enough, thank you very much.

Oh, back to Eri.

Princess Eri

Zuku!!! Can’t wait to see you tonight!!! Miss you bunch <3 (Today at 8AM)

Aww, sweet precious Eri. Izuku sends her a nice message back saying he is excited to meet her. Speaking of Eri, that cheeky gremlin got herself an Alpha boyfriend. Not that their parents need to know about that..

“Look at the time, oopsie daisy. It’s already 11 AM” Izuku raises up his arm to glance at his arm watch and he hurriedly grabs his wallet and key. He closes the door and locks it while checking the fastest route to his friend’s bakery.

The winter sun is shining brightly today, today seems to be a good one.

He checks the temperature, 5 degrees celcius. Hmm, maybe a thicker coat, he thinks as he gets inside to put on a coat and repeats the same process as before.

Checking the time, one last time, he leaves his condo and heads up to the train station.

Sugarman Bakery, Sugamo, Tokyo

Taking the Yamanote Line, izuku arrives at Sugamo.

An area in Tokyo famous for being “The Harajuku of Grandmas”.

It might be weird to think that Izuku’s friend set up a bakery in an area where youngsters are not that keen to visit since it is not trendy or hip but Sugamo also has been known to be a place full of hidden gems and many hipsters are beginning to frequent the unique stores there.

Sato Rikido, Izuku’s friend, himself is a unique character.

He looks like a bodybuilder and yeah, he did win many championships but his hobby is baking. Even his favourite foods are all sweets.

They went to the same high school and were quite close throughout three years. Sato even asked him for a dance during prom, of course while enduring nasty glare from Izuku’s twin but it was worth it.

It’s not helping that he still has a crush on Izuku.

Sato himself went to Paris to learn about pastries and desserts before going back to Japan to open a bakery.

Why Sugamo you asked? Well, the rent is cheaper than many areas in Tokyo.

Sato wouldn’t dream of opening a bakery in Izuku’s neighbourhood since the rent is through the roof. He would rather start small by opening a small nice bakery and café in Sugamo. Building his clientele from the grandpas and grandmas there.

It works, though since many youngsters begin to come to buy his loaf of bread as it has been dubbed as the softest, melt in your mouth sensation all around Tokyo after Izuku’s pops hooked him out with a famous food blogger.

“Morning, Rikido” the sweet sing-songy voice that is familiar to him enters his store.

His bakery is nicely decorated with fresh breads, pastries are put on display and the interior reminds you of those classic French boulangeries and cafes around Montmartre in Paris with lots of beiges and antiques assortments of furniture. Sato knows Izuku likes it.

“Morning, Izu. You’re picking up a chocolate gateau for your dinner tonight, right? Let me wrap it up in a nice box first” as he throws him a smile while walking to the fridge in the back.

“I’ll get some pastries for my snacks and probably a loaf of bread for my breakfast. It has been crazy busy these past days, I don’t have time to cook rice” he chuckles.

Rikido walks back to the front while carrying a fancy pink box with a cake inside of it.

“There you go. Be careful not to eat all of it” he teases.

Izuku looks offended as he smacks him lightly on his shoulder.

“Cheeky!” he says.

“Hahahaha, how’s your parents by the way? And Hitoshi? Eri?”

“They are fine. Hitoshi is as busy and lovey-dovey as usual with Denki. Eri will start her nursing school this spring and my parents are as insufferable as usual” Izuku rolls his eyes while answering his question.

“Wow, it has been that long, huh? Can’t believe little Eri is going to college”

“I know right, it makes me feel old” he grumbles as he fiddles with the bag.

“Aww, we’re still pretty young ourselves” he tries to cheer him up by patting his shoulder.

Izuku looks down, looking sad.

“Soon, I’ll turn 30 and it will zero chances of finding a mate or having pups”

Rikido is taken a back with what he said.

“Izuku, you are cute. You can get a mate in any age!” or Rikido can maybe try to court him again..

Izuku just looks back at him with a hopeless gaze.

“I wish it would be that simple” he mutters.

“Come again?”

“Never mind” he just shrugs it off and hurriedly leaving the premises.

“Bye, Rikido!”

“Wait, Izuku! I…” and he is gone.

Rikido takes a deep breath. Maybe there is always next time.

That night at Hitoshi’s.

“You are late, problem child” a tired looking man with monochrome coloured outfit welcomes him.

“Hi, mom” Izuku just throws his most innocent smile. His mother rolls his eyes while taking his bag away from him.

“From Sato, huh?” he asks.

“Yes, your favourite” Izuku grins.

“Not good enough to court my son, that’s for sure” he mutters.

Izuku shakes his head. Really, his parents are something else.

“Izuuuuuuu!” and suddenly he is attacked with a hug from his loud, blonde dad.

“Hiya, pops”

“I missed you! You should have called me more!”

“There, there” Izuku rubs circles on his back. His pops have always been so dramatic.

“Tch, let him go, Zashi. You’re suffocating him” Mother looks displeased with dad’s antic.

“But, but..”

“No buts, geez, sometimes I wonder if I have more than three kids” he grumbles.

“Let’s talk again later, pops” Izuku kisses him on the cheek.

“Gosh, Izu is the cutest!” Pops squeals in joy.

Izuku lets out a chuckle as he joins Eri and Hitoshi in the couch.

“Hi, troublemakers” Izuku greets.

“Izu!” Eri throws him a hug.

“Hiya, princess. Did you get in trouble?”

“No way! I’ve been such a good girl” she pouts.

“Yes way, you got yourself a boyfriend” his sleepy twin deadpans.

“Hitoshi! I told you not to say it out loud!”

“Oh my god, you did? Who is it? Is it the Kouta guy you have been telling me?”

Eri gives him a mischievous smile and Izuku squeals in delight.

“OH MY GOD! I knew it! I have told you several times that it wasn’t one-sided!”

Hitoshi rolls his eyes to see both of his siblings, who are completely opposites in personality to him begin, chatting about love life. His love life is pretty fulfilled, thank you very much.

The dinner itself is pretty fun with both of their parents bickering about their life as usual, Eri being adorable and both the twins listen attentively.

“The blizzard outside is awful. Gosh, I can’t believe Tokyo can be hit with a blizzard in this scale” Shouta whines as he eats his roasted potato. The menu for today is traditional English Sunday roast, courtesy of Hizashi.

“They said this is once every 10 years or something? It looks pretty though, maybe we’ll be having a white Christmas after all” Izuku answers.

“Speaking of Christmas. Do you want to spend Christmas at Musutafu? I can fry some chickens and we can decorate the tree together. Just like old times” Hizashi offers.

“Uhhmm, I don’t think I can take a day off from my part-time job. Christmas is the most hectic days after all and we need people” Eri declines the invites, fully knowing that she doesn’t have any schedule that day. She just wants to spend it with her boyfriend.

“Denki and I have made plans” Hitoshi says.

“Look at you, soon you’ll get hitched and we’ll be pampering litters of pups” Hizashi coos.

“Argh, no way. Me and Denki not planning to have any pups soon. Not with how hectic my job is right now” Hitoshi groans.

“Izuku, how about you?” Hizashi asks.

“Umm, well I have no choice, am I?” Izuku answers grimly.

“Izuku, what do you mean by that?” Shouta tries to press.

“Well, unlike Hitoshi I don’t have any mates. It’s either spending it alone or with you guys” Izuku snarls.

“Correct, no child of mine is allowed to have mates until they turn 30” Shouta doesn’t back down.

“You mean omega child of yours” Izuku taunts.

“No need to be snarky but you’re correct. Any alpha suitors must face me first” Shouta attacks back.

“Ugh, I don’t think I can marry anyone” Izuku groans.

“No, Izuku you won’t marry anyone” Shouta grins. He is winning this debate.

“Is that a guess or an instruction?” Izuku raises his voice.

“Stop it, you two. Shouta, you have to understand that Izuku is an adult. He can make his own mind. Stop controlling who he should date and he doesn’t need your permission to have a mate” Hizashi warns.

“Zashi, you know how dangerous it is for Izuku to pick his own mate. Remember when an Alpha attacked him in the station and he still went to the office like nothing happened?” Shouta says.

They still remember the day when Izuku had his heat yet still forced to go to work and had to wear both suppressants and scent blocker and still got attacked by three alphas in the train stations. Everyone was so worried that day and horrified when Izuku just brushed it off and went to work as usual. Izuku’s self-preservation skill is so bad, they can’t trust him to choose an alpha.

“Anyway, guys. How about if we visit Mineral Town? It has been a while since we last saw grandma and grandpa, right?” Eri tries to change the subject.

“No way, not with Izuku. Have you heard that they are lacking of unmated omegas now? Also, I heard that it is swarming with unmated alphas now. Those alphas will court him the first chance they have. I won’t let that happen” Shouta says.

“Oh, come on mom. What if I like one of them? Farming life seems pretty interesting” Izuku sends a rebuttal.

“You said that because you haven’t experienced it. Say that again once you tilt the soil until your palms harden then maybe I’ll take you seriously” Shouta replies.

“Besides, the alphas there are different breed. They are… I don’t want to say it. Don’t make me say it” Shouta continues.

“What? Uncouth? Not suitable for your refined palate? Need I remind you that you were from small town too, mom?” Izuku looks furious.

“That is enough” Hitoshi smacks the table lightly.

“We won’t be having any fight in this dinner table. Not in my house” He warns.

The rest of the evening goes by peacefully after that. Both Shouta and Izuku still not talking though.

As the blizzard subsides, Izuku hugs both of his parents saying goodbye and kisses Hitoshi and Eri in the cheek.

He still doesn’t talk to Shouta in the end.

As he walks home with bags of leftovers, he is wondering if he should just go to Mineral Town.

Who knows, maybe becoming a farmer will be more cathartic? Maybe he can build a pack with nice alphas there too.

He smiles at the idea while bouncing his way back home.

30 December, Izuku’s office

Today is the last day for work, Izuku can’t be more ecstatic to finish his task and relaxing at home. He may need to talk again with Shouta as their family makes it mandatory to spend New Year together and they haven’t spoken after their showdown at Hitoshi’s dinner.

He lets out a sigh. His whole body is aching since today supposed to be his last day of heat and it has been pretty unbearable, even with the strongest suppressant these days.

He concentrates on his work until the clock reaches 11:30 PM.

Izuku is the last one remained in his office. He hurriedly leaves his office when suddenly he feels pain all over his body.

“Ugh” he falls down to the floor as his body begins aching like crazy.

“Help….” He asks.

“Somebody help…” as his vision darkens. Is it the end?

He can hear people screaming all over him but the pain is too strong.

He feels his consciousness begins to falter. Eri..Mom..Dad..Hitoshi… I’m sorry….

At the Hospital

Izuku feels a sharp warmness all over his body. He finds it hard to move his body and he feels extremely tired. He tries to open his eyes to no avail.

So, he is still alive then… He lets out a sigh as he lets his drowsiness takes him to dream world.

“Hi, you” he hears a voice.

“Huh?”

“Yes, you. Child of mortal. Wake up” the voice gets louder.

“Where the heck, am I?” Izuku opens his eyes and he realises that he is standing near a river with a waterfall falling as the source of the water next to it.

“Whoa, slow down mortal. Welcome to Heaven!” the woman with a long black hair, beauty mark on her chin and white Greek chiton welcomes him.

“So, I’m dead already?”

“Ugh, not quite. By the way, I was kidding when I told you that this is heaven. We’re in your realm of consciousness” she scratches the back of her neck, looking irritated already with Izuku.

“Ok… so you’re just my imagination”

“Rude, I’m real” she gasps.

“Ehm, let’s start over. My name is Nana and I’m a Harvest Goddess of Mineral Town” as she introduces herself.

“Ok…and?” Izuku squints his eyes in disbelief.

“Wait? You’re not surprised?”

“Ugh, this is just a dream, isn’t it?”

“No, no. I’ve told you I’m real”

“Ok, what do you want with me. Miss Harvest Goddess” he crosses his arms in a cocky pose.

“Cheeky brat. Ugh, whatever. Anyway, I want you to go to Mineral Town and rebuild your farm”

“Why should I do that? There are more people who are capable. My mom, for example” he tilts his head in confusion.

“Because, it is your destiny to revitalize our town and I promise you, you will find your prince or princes. More likely princes charming in that town” Nana squeals in joy like a high school girl when she mentioned princes. Wait, princes? As in more than one prince?

“Wait, why plural?” Izuku raises his eyebrows.

“Geez, have you learnt nothing from your doctor? You even got sick and almost kicked the bucket if I didn’t negotiate with the God of Death. You’re welcome, by the way” she flicks her finger on his forehead. Ouch, that hurts.

“Oh, thank you? I guess” Izuku shrugs.

“Ughh, why Toshi’s grandson is this rude. Anyway, just go to Mineral Town and you’ll figure it out there. Also, when you’re there you can always toss an offering to the waterfall near the farm. Not like I need anything but I’ll be happy to receive one. Byeeee, tootalooo, cheers mate” she waves at him and Izuku feels the darkness swallow him whole, again.

“Useless Harvest Goddess” he mutters.

“I heard that!”

“Oops, sorry”

“Cheeky brat” she grumbles.

Izuku opens his eyes and the first sight he sees is his parents calling his name while crying profusely.

“Izu…Izu!!! You’re awake!” Hizashi suddenly hugs him in a bone crushing hug.

“Zashi! Stop it! He just woke up” Shouta warns.

“Oh, sorry…”

“Izuku…I’m sorry..I’m so sorry child” Shouta apologises profusely while kissing his cheeks. Wait.. His deadpan mother is crying??

“Mom..dad…what happened?”

“You silly child! You didn’t tell us that you’ve been abusing your suppressants and scent blockers! Also, how come you didn’t tell us that you’re a special class omega???” Shouta now shakes his body front and back.

“Shouta!! Stops!!”

“Oh, I’m so sorry Izuku. I’m sorry” he then hugs me while sobbing on his shoulders. Cursed his short feature, his right shoulder is wet now. Izuku hugs him back, drawing circles to comfort him.

“Ok, that’s enough mom and dad” Hitoshi appears with Eri next to him. He seems like he is on the clock as he is wearing his doctor’s jacket.

“Izu!!!” Eri hurriedly joins the hug.

“You stupid brother! You should be more careful with your health! You almost died there!”

“Wait, what?” Izuku looks at his family, trying to find an explanation on why they said he was dead.

“It’s true..”

“Darling, your heart stopped for 2 minutes last time.. We thought that we have lost you” Shouta begins to sob again.

“Oh my god, that useless Harvest Goddess was right” as realisation finally hits him.

“Huh?” both Eri and Shouta look at him on the eyes.

“Never mind…”

The rest of the night was spent with all his family stay in his hospital room for the whole night. Izuku feels at peace but he still can’t shake the dream earlier.

His desire to move to Mineral Town also gets bigger and if he has a second chance at life, he will make the most of it.

The determination follows even at the next day.

Izuku is having a consultation with a doctor specialized in omega health.

“Aizawa-san, you do understand what made you lost your consciousness, right?” the short, blue haired omega female asks. Mizuno Ami it is written on her id card.

 “Yes, sensei (doctor is called as sensei too in Japan). Because I have been abusing my suppressants and blockers” he nods in understanding.

“Good, basically you OD’ed from the intake and your hormone is so messed up, it will need a year to regulate it to normal level”

“Which means, no suppressors and blockers at all from now on. Your body has taken the damage and if you continue to use it, you may not be able to get pregnant in the future. Which is sad since your omega class is the most fertile with more possibilities to produce twins”

“Yes…”

“Good thing you have finished your heat. I won’t prescribe you anything but I recommend you to take it easy and to take a month full sabbatical”

“I see” Izuku knows what he needs to do.

The first thing he does is to pack all of his belongings and empties his condo.

He then sends an email to his company about his resignation.

“Finally” Izuku is quite pleased with himself seeing his condo is tidy. He sells the remaining furniture the same day and heads off to the pier where he has contacted someone who owns a boat.

It is the middle of the night and Izuku hasn’t told anyone that he is leaving tonight.

Yes, ever since his brush with death, Izuku has determined to live his life to the fullest and one of it by being whimsical. If he wants to do something, he will do it now!

As there is no direct train at the end of the year to Mineral Town, he decides to take a boat from Tokyo Bay.

His family probably is gathering in his house in Musutafu now.

Well, too bad that he won’t be joining as he is on aboard the boat now.

“I’M FREEEEE!” Izuku screams freely from the boat and suddenly a glass bottle is thrown from the nearby cruise ship. Directly on to his forehead.

Splash!!!!

While in the cruise ship, a blonde American yells “Turtle Timeeeeeee” loudly.

“Ramona, I told you not to throw your wine glass away to the sea!” Luann yelps.

“Oh my god, he is falling!”

Meanwhile, at Aizawa-Yamada residence in Musutafu

The family is currently chatting while waiting for Izuku. Shouta has been relentlessly calling him on his smartphone.

“Tsk, Izuku doesn’t answer” Shouta groans.

“Probably he is in the train, you know our son is polite” Hizashi tries to assure him.

“Then the least he can do is to answer my message”

“Oh my god, folks. Is that Izu?” Eri gasps.

“Breaking news, a young man by the age of 25 has been reported missing. He is reported to fall into the sea after accidentally hit by a wine glass by the nearby passenger of a cruise ship. The victim name is Aizawa-Yamada Izuku and he is 25 years”

The rest of the house begins to panic.

Mineral Town Beach

Kirishima Eijiro is a fisherman.

He likes to wake up early in the morning to eat a healthy breakfast and drink a cup of coffee.

He also makes it his routine to jog around the beach and how lucky he is to live next to the beach. Eijiro will start his boat at 4:30 AM to catch fishes.

He has finishes eating a hearty meal that he cooks and currently walking on the beach when he sees a thing washes out from the sea.

“Huh?” as he comes closer to inspect his finding.

It seems to be a green haired guy wrapped in a seaweed? Could it be?

“A mermaid?!”

Though he may look plain at first sight, Izuku. Aizawa-Yamada Izuku has always been a looker. He has adorable freckles, beautiful nice and cute mannerism. Many people describe him as adorable.

This may sound like an advantage, being an omega. But his parents always worried that Izuku may stuck with a worthless alpha who will treats him wrongly because he tends to be gullible most of the times.

Not saying that he is stupid, he may even be a genius but Izuku has no taste when it comes to alphas. Or even a self-preservation skill.

When he was a child, he tends to be really curious of his surroundings. He was also fearless as one day he brought home a poisonous snake in his arms while giggling saying it was cute.

The snake bit him and his long-suffering parents hurriedly brought him to the A&E of the local hospital.

This thing continued to happen but the scariest part was when Izuku basically watched a documentary with his family when he was in high school.

He didn’t listen the first half of the documentary as he was filling his notes with god knows whatever it was while muttering something, a habit his parents found rather charming.

Then he suddenly looked up and spoke.

“That alpha looks kind of cute” while blushing to his parents’ horror.

Later when he moved out and started working, the idiot kept going to the office despite of his heat. Izuku’s heat is no joke and Shouta was the one who understands the most of the pain he has to endure each cycle. For some reasons, his and Eri’s heat are tame in comparison.

The phone call that day changed his life as the police called him to inform him that Izuku was attacked by three alphas who were enthralled by his scents and pheromones.

He also begged him to tell Izuku not to work after the traumatic experience.

Izuku just shrugged and work normally that day to Shouta’s displeasure.

Shouta made a promise that day to deter any of Izuku’s suitor (which he had been doing ever since he presented due to his young age). He even contemplated to send Izuku’s profile to Omega Matchmaking Service so he can choose any good alpha for him, but Hizashi told him off.

Izuku is a trouble maker and his problem child. Sometimes he wonders if he was cursed to have such a troublesome pup but he refuses to believe that because despite all the troubles, Izuku is a wonderful child.

Now Izuku made another one by falling from his boat and went missing.

Shouta feels his heart beat is going to burst.

“Shouta…” Hizashi looks at him tearful eyes while Hitoshi frantically calls the police. Eri is weeping on the couch.

Shouta doesn’t know what to do. In the previous cases, Izuku was always miraculously saved but this time? Will he make it?

“Zashi, I….” he begins to let out sobs.

“He will be ok, at least knowing his unnatural streak of lucks. It is a miracle he is still alive until now” Hizashi tries to assure him while himself looks like a mess with swollen eyes.

“I wish, Zashi. I really pray that he will be ok…” Shouta can’t help but leaning closer to his husband while crying.

“It will be fine… Izu will survive an atomic bomb, this is nothing for him” he jokes while still unsure himself.

“Shit!” Hitoshi curses.

“How is it?” Eri asks with tears still wallowing from her eyes.

“They are still looking for him. No sign so far. The son of a bitch even suggested me to call a funeral home soon” he grits his teeth in frustration.

“Oh my god…” Zashi looks defeated.

The rest of the family then sits on the couch, trying to process the information and possibility that Izuku may have gone for good.

“That stupid kid…” Shouta sobs.

Meanwhile at the dream world

“Yoohooo” an annoying sing songy voice can be heard.

“Yo, wake up kiddo” another voice can be heard.

Ugh, his head hurts. Izuku groggily wake up from his slumber and once again he is in the weird place.

This time there are two people there looking at him.

The annoying Harvest Goddess and a huge old man with leather theme clothing ensemble.

“Err, trendy much?” is the first thing he lets out of his mouth.

“I told you he is rude” Nana grumbles.

“Hahaha, I like this kid’s attitude” the man lets out a laugh.

“Where am I?” Izuku asks, still not really there.

“Come on man, this is the second time you came here” Nana rolls her eyes.

“Oh, did I die again?” he asks.

“No, silly. You almost died, though. Now say thanks to God of the Sea here who pulled you out of the sea” she lectures.

“Nice to meet ya, kid. The name’s Daigoro Banjo” he offers a handshake.

Izuku lets out a sigh. He feels like he lives in La La Land these days.

“Nice to meet you and thank you” he shakes his hand.

“Wow, you can be pretty polite” Nana says sarcastically.

“Of course, I worked in a bank for god’s sake” he mutters.

“For our sakes?” both of them gasps.

“It was a figure of speech” Izuku feel tired even more so as he face palms.

“Oh, lighten up. We’re not idiots. Geez, you really need a village therapy” Daigoro teases.

“For real” Nana replies.

“Alright, now what I should do?” Izuku asks. Getting annoyed by this double troubles.

“Well, that’s for you to figure out. Befriend the people, tilt the soils, raise your animals, go fishing. Just enjoy your stay” Nana winks.

“Oh, that is sooo helpful” Izuku rolls his eyes.

“Gosh, he is rude” Daigoro shakes his head.

“Anyhoo, say hi to Eijiro. He has been really great with the sea!” Daigoro begins to disperse.

“Who?”

“Ohh, you’ll meet him soon enough” this time Nana is the one who begins to disappear.

“Gosh, I totally hate you both” Izuku mutters.

“We heard that!”

“Sorry not sorry” Izuku dead pans.

“…….”

“Oh, don’t overfish and never throw garbage to the sea!” Daigoro voices can be heard.

“Oh lord, is it gonna be my life now” Izuku groans.

Mineral Town

Eijiro pokes the “mermaid”, trying to get a reaction.

Is it dead?

He carefully moves to him closer and he uses the driftwood branch to poke the body.

The body flinches when he pokes and it creeps him out but it won’t be manly if he leaves him all by himself on the beach.

Eijiro then decides to take away the seaweeds that are covering the body.

“Huh?” as he goes through the upper part, finally he can see that the body belongs to a guy his age. He looks kind of dirty and smelly for some reasons.

“It won’t be manly to leave you out here” he grins as he takes off more seaweeds from the body.

The result is a what seemingly an omega male with green hair and slender, petite body.

“Wow, an omega male? Geez, if you stay here. You’ll surely be popular” he says.

Too bad Izuku’s face is really dirty with sands now.

He then carries him bridal style while bringing him to the hospital in the north side of the town.

“This seems like a good workout” he says.

“Oh, Ei!” suddenly a voice call.

Eijiro looks back and sees a woman with shoulder length green hair and another guy who looks emo with black aesthetic while holding a camera.

“Oh! Emi-san and Tokoyami!” he greets them.

“Revelry in the dark” Tokoyami gasps at the body that he carries.

“Ohh, what is it a murder?” Emi aka Miss Jokes’ eyes are glowing with excitement. Being a local journalist who singlehandedly runs the only news agency in this town, murder is something that she never comes across.

“NO! Gosh, I just found him stranded in the beach this morning. I’m bringing him to the hospital now” Eijiro explains.

“Aww, too bad but still a scoop! Fumikage, takes as many pictures as you can” she orders.

“What a banquet of madness” Fumikage shakes his head as he raises the camera and begins taking pictures with it.

“Oh no” Eijiro hurriedly runs from both of them.

“Hey!!! Just a scoop! Nothing interesting ever happened in this town!” Emi exasperatedly chases him.

“Come on, Fumikage!” she orders. Fumikage runs beside her half-heartedly.

“Isn’t it enough to get the picture?” he complains.

“No!! We need to figure out the identity of that guy! I’ve had enough writing stories about Shindo’s cow giving birth or Takami’s chicken won first place in chicken competition” she grimaces.

“Well, what do you expect. We live in a small town”

“Shut it! More running less talking” she yells. Fumikage rolls his eyes.

“Darn it, they went inside the hospital!” Emi chases them both desperately into the entrance of the hospital but the doors are closed.

“Shit, it is locked!”

“Miss Jokes, just give it up” Fumikage groans.

“No! I will do anything for a scoop and this is a big one! I can feel it!” as she keeps banging the door.

Inside the Hospital

“Iida! Toga!” Eijiro screams inside the hospital, looking for those two.

“Kirishima-kun, it is not allowed to scream inside the hospital. You will disturb other patients” Tenya suddenly appears from his office with his hand motions while Toga lazily yawns. She is walking down from second floor, clearly looking exhausted.

“Not that we have any patients at this hour” she whines.

“Toga-kun! Still, it is against the rules” Tenya continues with his reprimand.

“Yeah, yeah. What do you have here..Ohhh, what a cutie. I bet his blood looks good <3” she coos when she looks at the omega.

Eijiro immediately covers him in reflex.

“Toga-kun!” Tenya scolds.

“Yeah, yeah. I was joking. Gosh, nobody has a sense of humour in this town” she whines.

Tenya looks like he wants to say something before he glances at the body.

“What is that?” he asks.

“I found him stranded on the beach this morning” he answers.

“Ok, put him on the bed inside my office” he orders.

“Right on” Eijiro then carefully puts him on top of the bed.

“First, we need to check his pulse” and after a thorough check up.

“Hmm, he is just sleeping. Wonder why he doesn’t have any difficulty of breathing. Let’s clean him up and check more of his vitals”

“I’ll get the others” Toga then leaves to wake up more hospital personnel.

Tenya and Eijiro ends up cleaning the man and changes his clothes into hospital gown. Both of them blush when they realise how cute the man is after they cleaned him up.

“What’s with the commotion” Chiyo, the head of hospital arrives with head nurse Inko.

“Tell Emi to leave the hospital premises” she orders Toga.

Toga gives her a grin before happily heads to Emi where they can hear a scream after that.

“What’s with the sudden call” Natsuo arrives shortly.

“Kirishima found a stranded man on the beach. They need your help for the thorough body check-up” Inko explains.

“Geez, no wonder Emi looks so excited” he laughs.

“Gosh, I hope the poor man is ok” Inko says as she enters the room.

“Oh my, Izuku???”

“Izuku?” both Iida and Kirishima send a glance to the unconscious man.

“Oh my God, that is my grandson. Izuku..Remember him?” as she moves closer and put her hand on top of his forehead lovingly while sitting at the seat that was put next to the bed.

“Gosh, he has grown so much” she coos.

Both Iida and Kirishima look at each other in surprised Pikachu face.

“Wait, Inko-san. Look at the news!” suddenly Natsuo barges in to the room while Toga lazily carries some medical equipment for a thorough body check-up.

He points out to his smartphone where there is one tab opened in the browser.

“Lemme check” Inko puts on his reading glasses that was dangling on her chest, supported by a decorative long nylon necklace. Making her look like a proper grandma.

Inko reads the headline and narrows her eyebrows.

“Oh my… This is a problem” she gasps.

“Let us check” Iida stands next to her to read the article and he shakes his head.

“Seems like Izuku-kun just miraculously got saved from a tragedy” he comments.

“What is it about?” Kirishima asks.

“Here, read the article” Natsuo handed him the smartphone and Kirishima jaw dropped at the sensationalized title.

“Wow! You mean this mermaid looking chap is actually Izu-kun?” he gasps.

“Indeed. Oh, come on. Inko-san has told you that he is her grandson” Natsuo face palms.

“Silence!” suddenly Chiyo enters the room with a stern face.

“Natsuo, you seem like you have forgotten your duty to administer thorough check-up. If you have no business with the patient, the rest of you can leave” she lectures.

“My apologies, Recovery Girl! I’ll be assisting Todoroki-sensei with the check-up” Iida gives her a perfect 45 degrees bow. Kirishima just grins as he leaves the room to wait in the corridor where Toga is slacking off her job currently.

“Yo” she greets.

“You’re not helping them?” he raises his brows looking at the nurse who is slacking off her duty.

“Nah, Inko-san is three times more capable than me” she shrugs.

“I see, that’s too bad. If I were you, I’d be really pumped to show my skills!” Eijiro flexes but Toga just ignores him.

“Hmm, do you recognize the cute green bean?” she chimes.

“You mean the mermaid?” Eijiro throws a joke while grinning widely.

“Yeah, seaweed, broccoli, whatever” Toga rolls her eyes. Damn, this himbo.

“I do. It’s Izu-chan, right?”

“Hahaha, I thought your brain has shrunk with the number of salted fish you ate” she laughs.

“Hey! That’s so unmanly. I do make salted fish but I rarely eat it” Eijiro looks offended.

“I’m joking, geez. Anyway, from the smell, he seems like an omega to me”

“Yeah, I did smell that…” he nods.

“Gosh, you’re so hopeless. It is only mean one thing!” Toga facepalms.

“What do you mean?” he tilts his head in confusion.

“Since there is no unmated omega in this town, it could be your chance!”

“My chance? For?” he asks.

“Dummy, for courtship! To mate, bond and making pups!” Toga is so done.

“Hey, don’t talk as if Izu-chan is an object. That is not really manly of you” Eijiro raises his voice.

“Whatever, I’m not even a man” she rolls her eyes.

“What I’m saying is, this is the chance for you to capture his heart before the others. I mean, come on. I saw your face earlier, you were blushing like a lovestruck high school girls. I know you are interested” she explains.

“Ugh, well…” Eijiro looks unsure but it seems like he is interested in Izuku.

“No rest for the wicked, go get him a gift or something” as she pushes him to the door.

“Yessir!!” Eijiro hurriedly runs to his house’s direction.

“Now, who should I…” Toga is feeling accomplished, now she is looking for a new victim as she sees Iida is leaving the patient ward, her grin only gets wider.

“Aha, Iida-sensei” she chirps as she walks cheerfully towards him.

“Toga-kun, you’re free now?

“I am, doctor” she chuckles.

“Hehehe, seems like this town will be more interesting from now on” she thinks.

“Hey, sensei. What do you think of Izu-chan?”

“W-what??”

After the administering some ointments and salves to Izuku’s bruises and scars, Chiyo and Inko put him back on a hospital gown (with the help of Natsuo).

“Now, we wait until he wakes up” Chiyo hums.

“Really… I have to inform the police and his parents. I’m not looking forward to it” Inko grimaces, imagining how angry Shouta must be.

“Go on, Shouta-kun must have been worried sick” Chiyo assures her with a warm smile.

“Besides, it might be a catalyst for him to visit his birthplace” she continues.

“You’re right” Inko nods solemnly.

“Inko-san, I’ll inform the authority for you. I’m thinking of getting a breakfast with Tensei and Masaki, anyway” Natsuo offers.

“Oh, that would be a great help, sensei. Please say hi to them and also…” Inko opens her wallet and she takes some of her money.

“Just a bit of money, but some sweets” she offers.

Natsuo raises his hands frantically, refusing her offer.

“I can’t do that Inko-san, you have given me so much. Also, please just call me Natsuo-kun. You’re my Godmother” he says.

“Oh, nonsense. Being a doctor is a tough job and you’ve been doing a great job so far” as she puts the money on his palm.

Natsuo scratches the back of his head, defeated.

“Thank you so much, Inko-san” he bows.

“My my, Rei-san must be proud to have such a polite kid” Chiyo lets out a chuckle.

“Indeed” Inko agrees.

Natsuo then leaves the hospital to have a breakfast at Momo’s café while Inko dials the numbers that she has been dreading to call.

“Hello…” a familiar voice answer. Seem like he hasn’t been sleeping.

“Shouta, it’s me” she says.

“Mother…” Shouta seems surprised at the recipient.

“How are you, my son?” she asks.

“Bad, I reckon you called me because you saw the news” he says with a dark undertone in his voice.

“I did, yes but I have something to tell you..”

“if you ask me to go back home, you can forget it. This not the time, mom. I might have lost my son” he sobs.

Inko’s heart cries when she heard how broken her son is.

“Shouta…I call to tell you that Izuku is here” she says.

“…….”

“Shouta?”

“Mom, is he alive?” suddenly his voice changes into a chilling tone.

“Eeh…yes? He is resting in the hospital now. We have checked if there is any internal bleeding or life-threatening conditions but he seems fine. Eijiro-kun found him washed up in the beach” she explains.

“…..”

“Shouta-kun?”

“Well, once me and Zashi are there, he should pray that he will stay alive” then he hangs up the phone.

“Hello, Shouta? Shouta-kun?” Inko lets out a sigh. Some things never changed, huh?

Well, good or bad, Shouta and Hizashi will be there soon and she needs to tell her husband.

She can’t wait to meet them

Izuku feels like his head has been punched by a boxer.

Gosh, someone is dancing fox-trot in his head.

“Ughh” he groans.

Izuku wiggles, trying to get up before he feels a soft wrinkly hand prevents him from getting up.

“it’s fine, dear. Just rest for a bit more” she says.

Izuku feels like his eyelids are heavy and he just lets the sleep take him over.

As the time passes, Izuku faintly hears voices discussing something near his bed. He feels very much energized after a long rest. Well, presumably a long rest since he didn’t count the time as he was sleeping, duh.

He opens his eyes and sits down on his bed. This time he feels that his body is lighter and no more debilitating headache.

Suddenly, a head appears from the side of the white curtain that separates his bed with consultation desk.

“Yikes!” he startles.

“Oopsie whoopsie, welcome back to the land of living” the blonde girl sends him a cheeky smirk. Feeling extremely happy for startling him.

“Inko-san, Baby kelp ariel is awake!” she calls and suddenly three people make a beeline from the sides to him.

“Ummm” Izuku doesn’t know what to say.

“Izuku? Do you remember me?” the older plump woman asks.

“Grammie?” he asks.

Inko jumps excitedly after hearing that Izuku still remembers her.

“It has been so long! May I hug you?”

Izuku nods and they hug for a while.

“Oh my, how long has it been? I miss you so much, Izu” she cries.

“Me too, grammie. Me too” Izuku can’t help but sobs. It has been more than 10 years since they left this town and never visited since then.

“Tell me, how’s your family? Eri and Hitoshi?”

The blonde girl then leaves them, giving them privacy to catch up.

“Oh, my oh my” she grins as she sees both Iida and Kirishima are waiting in the corridor. Kirishima with a brand-new collar and Iida with a bouquet of roses.

“You guys move fast” she teases.

“You were the one who told me to buy a gift!” Iida panics.

“Well, I do want to court him the proper way. Hehe” Kirishima rubs the back of his head. It costed him a fortune to buy a brand new omega collar. A gesture that is considered very romantic in this society. Even Iida’s bouquet pales in comparison.

Iida blushes when he sees how brave Kirishima is with his give, because collar only mean one thing. Formal courtship proposal.

In Mineral Town, an alpha will give omega a collar first as a sign to pursue a formal courtship. Then when they feel like they want take to next step, a preserve flower will be given by omega to alpha. Preferably made by a flower raised by the omega themselves. This is a signed that their courtship is serious, with the intention of mating/marriage. As for marriage proposal, Alpha will give them a blue feather.

“Wow, Kirishima-kun. You really are moving faster. You have my respect” Iida says.

“Hehe, I just figured out that it would be manly to pursue it heads on” he answers.

“I need to learn more from you. But I won’t give up” he bows.

Toga cackles loudly.

“Hahahaha, oh my gosh. This is too funny!”

“Toga-kun, don’t laugh that loud! We’re in the hospital” Iida reprimands.

“Sorry, guys. I was just kidding when I told you buy gifts for the ariel impostor. Oh my gosh, I didn’t know you will do as I said. Besides, we don’t know if he wants to stay in these backwoods of a town” she laughs.

Both Kirishima and Iida’s faces morph into rage and shame. They really didn’t calculate that.

“What are you guys talking about?” as Natsuo appears suddenly with Chiyo.

“Slacking, huh? Iida-sensei” Chiyo says.

“No, ma’am” Iida hurriedly walks to his office.

“And you, boy. Don’t you have a work to do?” she points to Kirishima.

“No worries, Chiyo-sensei. I’m having a off day today” he grins.

“Suit yourself” Chiyo shrugs as she enters the ward with Natsuo.

“I hope he will stay” Kirishima thoughts as he sits on the bench outside the ward.

“Izuku, you remember Natsuo and Chiyo-sensei?” Inko asks.

Izuku looks at the door where he sees the bulky guy with a petite old woman.

“Of course! Hi, Chiyo-baachan and Natsu-nii” he beams.

“Izuku, I’m sadly mated already” Natsuo blushes before being smacked in the head by Chiyo.

“He didn’t flirt with you, idiot. Don’t take it seriously, Izuku. This guy can be so foolish sometimes” Chiyo snarls.

Izuku lets out a nervous laugh.

“Nah, it’s ok…” he says.

“Anyway, enough chit chat. Natsuo-sensei, please begin the examination” Chiyo orders.

“A-ah…right on” he hurriedly moves to begin the examination of Izuku.

“Hmmm, seems like you’re healthy as a horse!” he grins.

“I doe feel much better, thanks Natsu-nii” Izuku thanks him.

“No prob, Izu. So, are you planning to stay here for long?” he asks.

Izuku sighs.

“I don’t know… I’m contemplating, though” he answers

Both Inko and Chiyo looks at each other with a mysterious look.

“Well, let’s just say you’ll be very popular hahahaha” Natsuo laughs.

Izuku has a nap after the commotion. To tell you the truth, he wasn’t eager to take a nap sinc his peaceful dream has been infiltrated by a muscular, black haired goddess who annoys him so much.

He hoped this time he could get at least a decent sleep without any unwelcomed visitor.

How wrong he was.

“Hiya!” the cheery voice calls him from his deep slumber.

Again, he wakes up in a weird void with water all over. The sounds remind him of a waterfall.

Izuku just lets out a sigh.

“Wow, no profanity this time?” Nana gasps.

Izuku just looks at her with an empty stare.

“I’m kidding, I’m kidding. Geez, why you are so uptight?! Your grandpa certainly is more upbeat” she pouts.

Izuku still doesn’t grace her with any response, he is too tired to do anything.

“Ugh, anyway back to the topic” as she makes a swatting hand movement.

“You see, as you will take over the farm. We think that it will be great if we bestow you a power to help your transition from a city boy into full fledged farmer easier. That is why, TADA!” as she snaps her hands and suddenly Izuku is engulfs in a purple smoke.

“What in the word of…” he is startled by the sudden smoke before realising something in his vision.

“What the effing…” he realises that there is a menu on his vision, completes with different indicators and options.

“Neat, huh?” she huffs her chest, looking proud of herself.

“There you can monitor how many products that you have shipped, you can also check the relationship levels with the townies and your pets or animals. You can also check your stamina and energy level” she explains.

Izuku tries to muddle with the button and he can’t lie, this is pretty cool.

“Wow, this is cool” he exclaims.

“I know right” Nana flips her hair.

“Let’s see” she then touches some buttons to show him the relationship level with the townies.

“Ooh, someone is in love” she squeals when she sees two people’s pictures there in the acquaintance tab.

“Sweet Jesus!” Izuku is surprised to see two full body holograms appear in front of him, complete with some sentences next to it. It looks like the red headed chap he met earlier and the blue-haired doctor.

“Err, what is with the lack of info here?” as he points out the N/A part on the hologram.

“That is because you don’t know them. The information will be updated in real time as you progress with your journey” she explains.

“Oh, and don’t use it so openly in other people’s presence. Only you who can see this panel” she adds.

“This is weird… Why do I need these things and why do you help me? I might change my mind about inheriting the farm” he crosses his arms together while looking at her judgingly.

“In that case, the menu will disappear. Piece of cake. And for your first question, it is something that we can’t really disclose but having a farmer in this town will help a lot” she says.

“Besides, you’re a pack omega. It is a blessing to have you here since we don’t have unmated omegas or betas”

“That is insulting. I’m not a breeding machine” he snaps.

“I’m not telling you to mate with them all. Chill” she brushes it off.

“You can choose your mate or mates. Nobody is forcing you not to. I knew that one of the reasons why you came here was to find a mate” she smirks.

Izuku blushes.

“Having a pack omega in this town is always considered auspicious. This will be a great start for a bountiful harvest and rejuvenation of this town” as she glances to the waterfall nostalgically.

“You know, this town wasn’t always this quiet. It used to be filled with people and laughter but ever since the economic boom, many people deserted this town and moved to big cities” she states.

“Can’t be helped, I guess. I remember this valley was really rural compared with the city” as he remembers his days playing in his grandpa’s fields and feeding the animals.

“I haven’t taken a walk around the town, yet. Is it still the same as 19 years ago?” he asks.

“Well, some stores opened and some new people moved in. Mostly left for better opportunity or for schooling. The buildings and public facilities were renovated and renewed. Convenience stores opened here and there. Oh, we have a small station now so some people who works in neighbouring cities began to move here due to cheaper land and fresh air” she explains.

“Ok…. Doesn’t sound too bad to me. Do you really need a farm?” Izuku sighs.

“We do! Having a farm here will change things around here and it will pump more economy benefit to this land! Japan needs more farmer and locally produces ingredients instead of stuffs from abroad (she means imported goods). Mineral’s veggies are well known after all and since that dumb blonde Toshinori decided to run as a mayor, nobody wants to continue the tradition and the production stopped. Many of the workers left and economy stagnated” she whines.

Izuku knew how successful his family farm was and how Shouta was so proud of his family accomplishment. The farm was also the beginning of the schism between him and his grandpa and it was started due to his desire of becoming a mayor.

Shouta wanted to continue the farm but Toshinori wanted Shouta to have his own life instead of continuing the farm. Both of Shouta and Toshinowi weren’t the greatest communicator so the message somehow lost along the line and both hurt deeply.

As Toshi got elected with the help of Nezu, the previous Mayor against Inko’s sibling, Shigaraki who own All for One convenience stores chain, he neglected his duty as a farmer and the farm suffered.

Shouta wasn’t allowed to run the farm and left Mineral Town soon after. The farm has been neglected ever since.

Izuku lets out a sigh as he remembers the dream.

When he woke up, he checked the menu to find out if he can use it outside dreamworld and it worked.

He laments on how low his stamina is and he can imagine how hard it will be at first since his fishing, foraging, farming and mining skills are 0. His proficiency for farming tools such as hoe, sickle, watering can and hammer are also non-existent. Gosh, it will be tough road ahead of him.

He then gets up to take a bath and prepare for discharge. Today he will be leaving the hospital with his grammy.

On another note, Chiyo-baasan confiscated the collar from Kirishima after redeemed it inappropriate since Izuku barely knows him. She will give it back to him if Izuku agrees to be his mate. Izuku wonders if rural boys move fast when it comes to romance, not that he hates it.

“Yo!” Natsuo knocks.

“Come in” Izuku replies.

“You’re looking fine! Ready to be discharged?” he asks.

“Of course, finally I can breathe in fresh air” Izuku replies sarcastically.

“Hey, tone down the sarcasm there, buddy. Some folks may find it displeasing” he warns.

“I’m sorry. It is just overwhelming.. I can’t really complain though since I made the decision to come here in the first place” as he remembers the conversation that he had with his parents earlier.

It was more like a shouting match with Izuku stubbornly refuse to come home. Shouta can’t do anything since the snow blocks the access to the village at this time of the year.

“Your mom is a feisty one, huh. Hahahaha, I heard lots of stories about him from my mum and Oboro” he laughs.

“Oh, by the way, your grandma and Chiyo Sensei are currently busy with a sudden errant and they asked Nurse Himiko to guide you around the area before meeting your grandpa” he explains.

Nurse Himiko? The laziest nurse in the universe who slacks most of the times to gossip with townsfolk?

“Ugh, are you sure that is a good idea?” Izuku looks unsure.

“Well, Himi-chan can be too much but she sometimes part time as a tour guide in summer during off days. She might be a lousy nurse but she is a top-notch tour guide” he assures though his expression said otherwise.

“Anyway, she has been waiting for you at the lobby” as he turns his back to guide him into the lobby.

Izuku follows him and realised that during his 5 days stay in the hospital, he didn’t once get out of his room unless they needed to scan him or taking an x-ray.

The building is fairly new and modern with vinyl flooring in neutral colour and beige walls.

The big windows show the beautiful winter scenery outside with snows falling and white piles of snow covering most areas. He can see the white mountains covering the area around hospital.

“Wow” he exclaims.

“Cool, huh? The perks of working in this hospital is you can really feel the 4 seasons atmosphere every day since we are located on top of the hill surrounded by mountains” he says.

“On spring the hills will be pink with cherry blossoms. On summer the flowers will bloom around the meadows and the garden with birds and crickets sounds all over. On autumn you can truly feel the autumn foliage from the reddened leaves around the mountain” as he continues.

“I can understand that, this is beautiful” Izuku smiles.

“Wow, careful with that” Natsuo suddenly yaps.

Izuku tilts his head in confusion.

“Ugh, I think I should warn you first about this town..” and before he can finish his sentence.

“Yeah, alphas will be all over you since there is no unmated omega left. What do you expect in this backwater town” as a blonde nurse with two buns on her head suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

“Christ! Himiko! You almost gave me a heart attack” Natsuo jumps.

“Tch, another failure” she snickers.

“Hello there, cutie. The name’s Himiko, but I guess you already knew” she salutes and winks.

“Ugh, hi.. My name is..” izuku tries to introduce himself before being cut again by Himiko.

“Yeah, yeah. You’re Aizawa Izuku, Omega, 25 years old and an ex-banker. Tryong your luck to be a farmer here, correct?” she blabbers.

“Ugh, how do you know?”

“I know everything” as she smirks creepily.

“Come on, chop chop. We ain’t got a whole day to spend, the old bat will chew me if I don’t return by 4 today. I guess I should thank you for giving me an entertainment during my boring shift” as she walks toward the exit.

“Ugh, see you later Natsu-nii” Izuku bows before following Himiko’s fast steps.

Natsuo just shakes his head, tire of Himiko’s antics.

“Geez, in the age when people are looking forward to leave every small town to a big city there must be one weirdo who does otherwise” she complains as she opens her car.

“I’m talking about you, in case you weren’t aware” she says.

“100% clear, miss…” Izuku tries to be polite as he sits next to her inside the car.

“Throw the formalities out, just call me Himiko, Mister cutie pie”

“Err, thank you Miss Himiko”

“Just Himiko is fine. Just so you know, we will greet each and every one of the townsfolk today and tomorrow. I will parade you like a spring goddess winner” while she starts her car and drives.

“I’m… looking forward to that” Izuku really doesn’t know how to communicate with this girl.

As they drive down the snowy hill, Himiko explains about the town.

“The hospital is so inconvenient. Who had the idea to open a hospital on top of a hill? What a nutjob” she complains.

“There is a bus near your farm that goes around the town and the last stop is the hospital. The driver is a nice guy but he is kind of annoying and too chipper for me. Oh, also there are three doctors in the hospital. Iida, the resident surgeon, Chiyo the head of hospital who is also a surgeon, Natsuo who is our internist and Tae, another surgeon who also doubles as our pharmacist. Iida is a sucker for rules, like he needs to get laid sometimes” as she sends a nasty grin to Izuku who awkwardly smiles back.

“Chiyo is strict as fuck. Gosh, she is the only person that has my respect in this town and probably the scariest. Do-Not-Cross-Her” she warns. Izuku swallows his saliva as he remembers how Chiyo yells at Himiko for catching her eating snack during shift.

“Natsuo is a nice guy, pretty funny too. He has some daddy issues like all the Todoroki boys but what is new?” she continues.

“Tae, on the other hand, rumour has it that she used to work as a back-alley doctor in Yongenjaya, Tokyo and did lots of shady businesses. People kind of scared of her here but I don’t care. She is eccentric, I like her”

“Oh, for the nurses, the head nurse is your grandma. She is very nice but can be scary at times. She is the second person that I respect the most in this town. I took it back that Chiyo was the only one. You’re lucky to have a grandma like her” she compliments Inko.

“The other nurse is called Uehara Sayoko. She is a maneater and loves to flirt but nah, don’t get your hopes up. She loves to mess with people but she has a loving husband at home. I don’t think you have any interest in female beta anyway. All the nurses and doctors in the hospitals are beta except Iida, by the way” she explains.

As the car drives down the hill road under the falling snow suddenly the catches a glimpse of a town bus.

“Oh, speaking of which” Himiko begins to lower the window.

“Himi-chan! Going for an errant in the town?” a muscular alpha with familiar short blue hair and friendly handsome face greets them from the bus driver seat.

“Yo! Tensei! Guilt as charge” she laughs.

“Bringing the new bloodbag with me ‘ere” as she points to Izuku. The accent changed slightly which caught Izuku by surprise.

“Oh, the new delivery! Nice to meet ‘ya, lad. The name’s Tensei and I’m Tenya’s brother” he introduces himself.

“Nice to meet you too, Tensei-san” Izuku politely greets back.

“Ohh, now I understand why Tenya bought you a bouquet of roses” he grins cheekily.

“Our new blood bag here is type 0, he is popular already” as she quips another blood related joke.

“I can understand why. Anyway, need to make few rounds before going back. Drive safe, Himi-chan” he waves.

“See ya, Tensei!”

Himiko closes the window and grins at Izuku.

“Nice chap, huh? You must be surprised to hear our accent”

“Yeah, I kind of forgot how….” Izuku tries to figure out a word to express his impression their accent but he doesn’t want to sound rude.

“Just say that it sounds horrible, I know it is. Hahahaha” she lets out a laugh (They use Koshu-ben or Koshu accent which it mostly used in Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefecture. People voted it as the ugliest accent in Japan on 2011 at variety show, Getsuyo Kara Yofukashi).

“Naah, everyone here agrees that it sounds horrible but what can we say? It has it own charm once you get used to it” she brushes it off.

“Who knows, maybe you’ll pick up the accent soon” she teases.

“I really hope not” Izuku says to himself.

“Anyway, let’s stop here first let me introduce you to this people” as she stops the car in front of a building that reminds him of Howl’s Moving Castle.

“Erghh, what is this place?” he asks.

“I know right, such a bad taste, I wonder why they haven’t tear this place down” she quips.

Izuku lets out another sigh. Probably one of many.

He sees that there is an old fashion bell next to the door and rings it.

Suddenly there is an explosion near the door.

“Oh my god!” Izuku screams.

“Tch, so dramatic. It’s pretty quiet in their standard” Himiko just stands there nonchalantly as if it was a common occurrence.

Not long after that the door is opened brashly with a girl with pink dreadlock and black tanktop emerges from the black smokes.

“Hello! Any order?” she yells.

“Mei! I told you not to destroy the home again” as a familiar voice calls her from inside.

“Just loitering around the area here with the fresh blood” Himiko points at Izuku who bows politely.

“Oh, the new farmer?! Are you here to commission a new baby?!” she begins yelling enthusiastically.

“Mei! Who is.. oh, cousin Izu!” a blonde woman appears from the door.

The woman is Melissa Shield, Izuku’s cousin. Before he got married to Inko, Toshinori used to marry an American woman and uncle David was his first son. After he got divorced, he went back home with David and married Inko. Melissa is David’s daughter with uncle Mirai, another local here.

“It has been so long, oh my god” as she launches herself to hug Izuku.

“Wait, you guys know each other?” Himiko asks.

“Of course, silly. Izuku is my cousin!” Melissa answers.

“It has been awhile, Melissa-chan. When was the last time we met?” Izuku says.

“I dunno, probably since we were children. Too long, I may add” as she drags him inside the house.

The house interior is very steamboat with debris all over and some avant-garde style furniture all over.

“Sorry for the debris and stuff, Mei just had some breakthrough and I guess she went ahead to the lab without saying good bye. Geez, that gal” Melissa whines while going to the adjacent pantry to make some tea.

“Gosh, it must be shocking for you to visit this place. It has changed a lot these past years and you came at the worst timing too” Melissa says.

“Why is that?”

“Well, it’s winter silly. The only thing you can do is to take care of animals and you have none. Your greenhouse can’t be used, either with the current condition. Don’t tell me you haven’t seen the farm before you came here?” Himiko asks.

Izuku shakes his head and both Melissa and Himiko gasps.

“Ughhh, I love grandpa but let’s just say that the condition of the farm is not good. At all” Melissa pours some hot tea into some cups.

“Indeed, we had some financial crisis 10 years ago and your grandpa basically downgraded his farm and many fell into disrepair due to neglect” Himiko explains.

“But, don’t worry! The townies will help you kick start your farm. I’m sure grandpa will too” Melissa assures as she pats his shoulders.

“You’ll need Katsuki and my sis help, or god knows how will you survive” Himiko sips her tea.

Great, now Izuku knows why his mom is so angry with his grandpa.

“I will look forward for the assistance” Izuku bows.

Suddenly his head gets hit by a blunt object.

“Mei!” Melissa screams.

“Cool, huh? What do you think, green bean? This drone will help you to inspect your farm with bird’s eye view. Free of charge!” Mei says nonchalantly despite Izuku fell head first to the floor.

“Are you alright?!” Melissa helps him to get up while Mei simply doesn’t care and Himiko laughs her ass off.

“Ugh, I hope…” Izuku sighs.

“Come ‘ere if you need help with new equipment or repair. I have so much ideas that I can’t wait to apply on your farm! Solar powered tractor? Electric sprinklers? Oh, gotta work on that!” as she leaves Izuku astounded to her lab.

“I need to apologize on behalf of my wife. She is a nice person but a bit eccentric” Melissa drops the bombshell.

“Eccentric is an understatement” Himiko laughs.

“No problem. Wait, wife?” Izuku gasps.

“Oh, you mom didn’t tell you? I got married last year. We wanted to invite your family but you know…” she lets out a sigh.

“Oh, my goodness” Izuku still shocks.

“Well, I guess we need to move along. Gotta introduce him to the other woodland folks” this time Himiko drags him outside.

“See ya, Izu. It is nice to meet you. Feel free to come here anytime and we’ll have some tea” Melissa hugs him before he leaves.

“Thank you, Melissa and congrats on your marriage” Izuku says.

After waving to Melissa from the car, they continue their journey in the main road surrounded by trees.

“Beautiful, huh? This place is at the outskirt of the town and there are many forgeable plants and mushroom that you can sell. Though you may need to learn which one is edible and which one is poisonous. You can learn from Iida, he is good at herbs and stuff. Or you can read the books about plants in the community library in the town central. Though, Monoma can be annoying” she explains.

“Noted. Must be really beautiful here on Spring” Izuku nods.

“It is, some townies go here every Spring and Summer to have a picnic or flower viewing” she says.

Himiko is pretty nice actually despite her sharp tongue and by referring him as a blood bag.

“By the way, Himiko. Why did you decide to become a nurse here?” Izuku asks.

“Oh, that is easy. I love blood” she says.

“I’m sorry, what?”

“You heard me. I loooove blood. I bet you look good with blood all over you” she laughs.

Izuku takes the statement back, she is creepy.

After some times, they arrived in a wooded two-storeys cabin.

Himiko knocks the door when a blonde woman arrives from the mountainous path.

“Oh, Himi-chan! Welcome!” the brash woman greets.

“Mitsuki-san, long time no see” she greets back.

“Oh, you brought along the new farmer! Izuku-chan, still remember me?” she asks.

Izuku knows this woman. When he was a child and visiting the town, sometimes his parents will leave him in auntie Mitsuki’s house.

“Of course, how are you, auntie Mitsuki?” he greets.

“I’m great! Come in, must be freezing cold in here” she opens the door.

The interior is very cosy and contrary with the outside design. Inside is very modern.

Auntie Mitsuki calls her husband who hugs Izuku. They then sit in the living room while Uncle Masaru makes some tea.

Auntie Mitsuki works as a fashion designer and she commutes between Mineral Town and Shizuoka City daily. These days, since the transport route is closed by the snow, she just works from home. Uncle Masaru owns some boutiques in the nearest city and he also commutes. Both of them were originally from Tokyo but moved the 20 years ago for Uncle Masaru’s health.

Their son, Katsuki was Izuku’s childhood friends.

“Oh, Katsuki became forest ranger. He will come home soon” auntie Mitsuki says.

In fact, Katsuki or Kaccchan as Izuku would call him, was Izuku’s first love.

Hitoshi can’t stop teasing him about his beloved Kacchan. As he remembers his face turns red when suddenly the door opens.

A spiky blonde guy with red crimson eyes and slim, muscular body enters the home. He is wearing a regular green ranger uniform.

“Katsuki! Looks who is here!” she points out to Izuku who looks down shyly.

“Huh? What the fuck!” his jaws drop.

“Shitty nerd!” he barks.

“Katsuki! I told you to be polite, you brat!” Mitsuki scolds.

“Fuck you, old hag! Why the fuck deku is here?!”

“He is the new farmer, ya dumb fuck!”

And the banter goes on and on.

“I guess we should take our leave” Himiko whispers.

“Good idea” Izuku nods.

“Oy, shitty nerd!” suddenly Katsuki calls them while they are making a polite “we’re leaving first” gesture.

“See ya, around” Katsuki sends a smirk before arguing back and forth with Mitsuki who waves at them.

“You know, you will need Katsuki help for gathering lumbers and forageable” she sends a knowing smirk.

“Huh?”

“Still daydreaming? Geez, you’re hopeless” she cackles.

Katsuki will help Izuku identifying the forageables and chopping woods for lumber but that will be in the near future as Izuku is pretty useless now.

After a short drive, they arrive at a huge complex of Japanese traditional house.

“Welcome to Yaoyorozu Inn” Himiko leads him to the entrance. The lobby is huge and the inn has three storeys. It seems like it has been renovated recently as the furniture and décor are mix of Japanese and western. Very classy.

“Welcome, oh” a woman with short hair and kimono welcomes then.

“Shino-san, I brought you the new delivery” she means Izuku.

Shino-san seems perk up when she heard about Izuku.

“Finally! I have such a good memory in that farm. It would be beautiful to visit the flower garden in spring” she says.

“Oh, where are my manners. My name is Sosaki Shino and I work as a servant in this inn. We have other servants such as Shiretoko Tomoko and Tsuchikawa Ryuko but they are running an errand now” she says.

“Shino-san, there you are” suddenly a graceful woman with red kimono arrives from outside.

“Ah, Momo-chan. Looks who is here!” she perks up.

“Ah, hello. You must be the new farm. My name is Yaoyorozu Momo, the manager of this inn” she bows deeply.

“Likewise, nice to meet you” Izuku greets back awkwardly.

“It is such a pleasure to meet you, Izuku-san. News travel fast here, hehehe. I just bought some supplies for the kitchen in Rei-san’s store and she told me that there is a new farmer from the city” she says.

“Anyway, we always buy the highest quality of vegetables. You can always sell us your produces here if you want. It will be an honour for us to use a locally grown bounties” she continues.

“Ah, of course. I hope I can lead up to your expectation” Izuku shyly chuckles.

“Great! I’m rooting for you” she smiles.

“Momo-sama, welcome” suddenly a bulky and tall man walks from the kitchen area.

“Oh, you’re the one people have been talking about” he glances at Izuku. Wow, he is intimidating.

“Hello, sir. My name is Aizawa Izuku” he bows.

“Ohh, Shouta’s pup, huh. Shino, you remember Shouta?” he asks.

“Ohhh, of course! So, you are Shouta’s pup?!” she seems surprised.

Turns out he is the itamae or head chef of the inn and his name is Yawara Chatora. Both Shino and Tora-san are childhood friends of his mother.

“Gosh, you need to tell that grumpy old man to show his face here every now and then” suddenly a blond chirpy woman with blue kimono arrives from behind while carrying boxes.

“Ohh, let me help!” Shino offers.

“No need, Inasa is helping us” she says.

“Hello there, kitty-cat. I’m Ryuko, single and forever 21. Too bad that you’re omega. If you are an alpha, I would call dibs on you” she says flirtily.

“Shouta will kill you if you do that” a green haired woman chimes in.

“Hello, Izu-chan. I used to change your diaper when you were baby, hahaha. The name is Tomoko but don’t you dare calling any of us auntie. Though, Tora wouldn’t mind to be called uncle” she chuckles.

“HELLO EVERYONE, WHERE SHOULD I PUT THE BOXES”  a huge guy with a wide smile and super short hair wearing a  black tank top practically yells behind them. He is unloading some boxes from the van.

“Just put it in the kitchen, pup!” Chatora san yells back.

“ROGER” and like a wind he moves super-fast carrying all the boxes from the van to the kitchen. The rest of the crew then chats for a bit before leaving one by one to their respective position.

“I see you have acquainted with our staff” Momo lets out a chuckle after making a round to check the floors.

“Come on in, we can talk in my office” she offers

“No need, we need to introduce Izuku to other residents” Himiko appears with a slice of Baumkuchen from the kitchen.

“Aww, that is too bad. Can’t be helped then. Please come here when you have time. Our restaurant is well known in this town and you can rest your bone after a hard day work in our onsen” she smiles.

“Thank you, Momo. I will definitely visit this inn” Izuku promises.

“Great, fellow business owner needs to look out for each other” she says.

“OH, HIMIKO. I DIDN’T SEE YOU THERE” suddenly Inasa appears from the kitchen. Seems like he has finished his errand.

“God, you again. Inasa, this is Izuku. Izuku, Inasa” she just quickly introduces them

“AH, FINALLY! GOSH, YOU ARE CUTE!” the huge alpha bows 90 degrees enthusiastically.

“Errr, thank you?” Izuku blushes.

“I’M INASA. I USUALLY WORK IN THE GYM NEAR THE SHRINE WITH RUMI-SENSEI BUT I DO ODD JOBS AND VOLUNTARY WORK AROUND THE AREA TOO. YOU CAN COUNT ON ME IF YOU NEED A HELP FOR YOUR FARM” he yells.

“Great idea! Inasa has a great stamina, he can help you a lot” Momo concurs.

“I’ll think about it. Maybe after I figure it out on how to farm” Izuku rubs the back of his head. Ashamed to admit that he doesn’t have the fund to hire any help.

“IT’S OK, I WILL HELP YOU WHEN I’M AVAILABLE. JUST CALL ME AND ASK” as he quickly put out his phone and hands it over to Izuku so he can save his number. Izuku calls his number with that phone.

“Err, done”

“GREAT, SEE YOU LATER MY FUTURE MATE!” and just like that, he disappears into the street.

“Isn’t he cold with that getup?” Izuku genuinely asks.

“If you asked him, he will say that his passion makes him immune” Momo answers with a straight face.

“You’re kidding me” Izuku stares in disbelief.

“I hope I was” she chuckles.

This town is full of crazy characters he though.

And the next destination is a wooden lounge near the welcome sign.

“This is the lumberjack office. If you need to buy furniture or house renovation, you go here. My sister, Ochako is an apprentice lumberjack and Shinji is the main lumberjack. Your cousin, Tenko is also working here as an interior decorator. Too bad it is closed now because it is Saturday. You can meet Ochako in my house though. Let’s go” as she starts the engine.

Himiko’s house is far more normal than what Izuku has expected. It is located just before the farm and it looks like a normal wooden bungalow you can easily find in villages in alpine.

“Knock, knock” as she opens the door.

“Oh, you came!” a bubbly girl with short brown hair welcomes them.

“I heard so much about you from Katsuki! You must be Deku!” as she shakes his hand violently.

“Nice to meet you too, ehh”

“Ochako! Hahaha, I can tell that we will become the bestest friend” as she drags him to the pantry. Himiko just smirks behind them.

From the scent, seems like Ochako is an alpha.

“You came too late, if you were here 10 minutes earlier you could have met my mate, Tsuyu. She works as a marine biologist at a lab near the beach. She would love to meet you” she complains while making (another) cup of tea.

“Anyway, no biggie. We can always visit the lab once the weather mellows up” she continues.

“So… what makes you want to be a farmer” Ochako hands over his cup of tea before sitting next to him.

Oh boy, he hopes he won’t disappoint her with any boring answer.

“I was burnt out as a banker in Tokyo and I hate the city. I saw the ad and it would be such a shame to sell the beautiful farm that I had so many fond memories of” he explains.

“Cool, that is rare in this day and age to meet someone who hates city life. Though, I have to agree that city life is too stressful for people like me. I mean, living in countryside is a hard but at least we don’t have pollution or people with bad temper” she nods her head in agreement.

“You may need to revise the people with bad temper part, though” Himiko sips her tea.

“Oh, come on. Maybe only Enji-san who has a bad temper but the rest of us are pretty chill” she defends her statement.

“And Shouto-kun” Himiko adds.

“Shouto is nice, though. He is just eccentric”

Izuku wonders who is Shouto and if Ochako who lives with Himiko thinks that he is eccentric, he must be a bigger weirdo compared to Himiko.

“Oh, sorry. Shouto is Enji-san’s child. He is currenly studying under his wings to become a blacksmith” she explains.

“Wait, Shouto is Natsu-nii’s brother, right?” he asks.

“Oh, you know Natsuo? Correct, he is his brother”

Izuku realises that Shouto is Shoucchan. Another of his childhood crush besides Kacchan.

“Did I smell another puppy crush story like Katsuki” Himiko smirks.

“Whattt? Crushes? Tell me, tell me?!” Ochako gets so enthusiast.

Oh boy, this will be a long ride.

Chapter Text

Izuku used to be an energetic kid.

Every summer during his childhood, he would visit Mineral Town without fail, though sometimes Mama looked pissed off for some reasons at the end of the trip and grandpa had an awkward smile. Nevertheless, summer in Mineral Town used to be something that he looked forward to.

During the visit, he used to play with children in the town. He doesn’t remember much about them since his family stopped coming to the town since he turned 9 but Kacchan and Shoucchan were the most memorable. He vaguely remembers a blonde girl name Mina but that’s it.

Kacchan was a brash, hot-headed kid and judging from how they met today, seems like he doesn’t change much. While Shoucchan was a crybaby but super sweet. His two-toned hair and heterochromatic eyes also made him very hard to forget.

Both Kacchan and Shoucchan were rivals and always made anything into competition, including getting Izuku’s attention. Kacchan would always made him promise to play with him first but Shoucchan would always challenge him and it ended up with a rock-paper-scissors game in which Kacchan always lost.

Izuku may or may not promise to marry both of them when they were young.

“What?!” both of the sisters squeal excitedly.

“Oh my god, Deku-kun. I didn’t know that you were such a Casanova” Ochako teases.

“Apparently it is true what they said, the quiet one usually the most calculating”

“Guys, stop it. It was just a stupid childhood promise. I’m sure both of them already forgot about it”

Both the sisters look at each other while grinning.

“Well, you might be surprised then” they say.

“Anyhoo, I’m shocked that you used to visit this town but not remembering me” Ochako pouts.

“Huh, but I thought” Izuku tries to remember Ochako but seems like he can’t. He is so busy remembering he missed the wink Ochako sent to his sister who raised her eyebrows at her statement earlier.

“Hahahaha, relax. I was just messing with ya. I just moved here last year” as she smacks him on his shoulders. Darn, that is painful.

“Oh, thank God. Himiko did tell me that you guys are from Kansai and I had a second thought since she loves to mess with people” Izuku lets out a relieved sigh.

“Hey! I see that my reputation has preceded me” Himiko deadpans.

“Hahahaha, you’re so perceptive Deku-kun. I think we will get along well” Ochako lets out a roar of laughter.

Izuku smiles at her carefree laugh. Izuku doesn’t have many female friends back there in Tokyo, it is kind of refreshing to meet a female Alpha who doesn’t judge how mate-able he is on a first glance.

The conversation then continues on how the town is getting more populations these past years from the commuters who work in either Musutafu, Yasoinaba or Okina City but those commuters only treat the town as a bed town and rarely socialise with the true-blue Mineral Townies. While many locals decided to move to bigger city for better opportunity.

“By the way, do you know the Ashido? Mina-chan moved to Tokyo 2 months ago” Ochako asks.

“Huh? What happened?”

“Her parents moved to Okina City since the business was bad with all the exodus of people and the newcomers who prefer to go to Okina or Inaba for their haircut. Mina wanted to stay but, in the end, moved to Tokyo with her sister since there is not so much work for a professional make-up artist” she explains.

“Same with the Aoyamas, the moved to Okina as their boutique there was more successful than here. Yuga moved to Paris during uni to study fashion. I heard he lost his country accent and now speak with French accent, hahahaha. He works in Tokyo as a fashion designer, now” Himiko chimes in.

“Everyone is leaving, huh” Izuku nods.

“I feel bad for the mayor but this partially his fault. If he didn’t close the farm, the town would still be thriving and Enji-san wouldn’t close the vineyard and winery, either” Himiko grits his teeth. Izuku tilts his head in confusion.

“Oh you didn’t know? Enji-san and your grandpa are sworn rivals. When he became mayor, Enji-san decided to close the winery and focus on his blacksmith business while Rei-san is looking after the grocery store” she continues.

“Anyway, this town is done for ever since your grandpa and Mirai-san fought” she said.

“What happened?” Mirai is Inko’s brother and used to be grandpa’s advisor.

“We don’t know the detail but your stubborn grandpa doesn’t listen to anyone besides him. Sure, Nezu is good and all but he is so old-fashioned. Every strategy to draw new people in has been a constant failure” she sighs.

“You’ll see it when you go to town hall. The bureaucracy is fast, thanks to Nezu-san but they still use fax and digital sign is not allowed. How old fashioned” she complains.

“Anyway, enough about your stupid grandpa. Where should we go for today?” Ochako asks.

“That is easy, to the places that are open for today. Ranch, museum/library, grocery store and konbini? Maybe eating dinner at Madame Midnight’s parlour” Himiko replies.

“Let’s go!” Ochako drags Izuku who just lets out a sigh.

Hawks Ranch, Mineral Town, Yamanashi Prefecture

A ranch that sells dairy and eggs. They also breed cows, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits and ducks. Owned by Takami family.

“Tada, this is the ranch” Ochako points at the red building in the middle of a snow plains.

“The barns are closed because of the weather but during spring until fall, you’ll see varieties of animals in free range, eating grass” Himiko explains.

“Let’s go!” Ochako drags him again into a red house with three storeys. The decoration reminds Izuku of classic farmhouse in Switzerland when he went there for a business trip.

“I know what you are thinking, this looks like Heidi’s house, right?” Himiko leers.

Izuku ignores her teasing as a blonde man with golden eyes in a medium height wearing a tight fitted black T-Shirt opens the door.

“Ohh, hohohoho. Took you long enough to bring the newbie in” the man greets with a wide grin on his handsome face. From the musky smell he exudes he must be an alpha.

“We had too much fun earlier at my house” Ochako innocently answers.

“Ohhh, you moved fast” Keigo teases. Ochako realising the double entendre of her phrasing earlier is embarrassed as her face turns pink.

“Ugh, we just had a cup of tea and had a nice conversation. That’s all” Izuku tries to save her from embarrassment.

“Hahahaha, I was just teasing you. Come on in” as he leads them inside.

The interior is very cozy with a huge fireplace in the middle of the living room and wooden flowing and panels. The furniture is also mostly made from wood.

“Ochako made most of it” he says.

“Oh” Izuku startled by how observant this man is.

“The name is Keigo, Keigo Takami. What is yours, beautiful?” he asks in a charming manner.

“I-Izuku. Aizawa Izuku” he answers while flustered.

“Nice to meet you, Izuku-chan. If you ever need some animals or animal feed for your farm, be sure to come to me. I would love to give you discount” he winks.

Izuku can’t help feeling warm inside. Keigo is very handsome and charming.

“Ugh, yes. I think I will” as he scratches his back of his head nervously.

“I’m also really good at cooking. My specialties are chicken-based cooking. My door will always open to you if you need a meal. With me of course” he flirts.

“Cough. Cannibal, cough” a deep voice can be heard from the pantry.

There stands a rugged looking man with black hair, icy blue eyes, punk jacker, tattoos all over his arms and upper chest and piercings on his eyes and ears.

“Long time no see, Izu” he smiles.

“Hey! You just ruined the mood earlier” Keigo whines.

“Wait, Touya-nii?” Izuku ignores Keigo’s dramatic reaction.

“Glad you still remember me, Izu” he grins.

Touya is Shoucchan’s eldest brother. He used to train as a blacksmith but wasn’t really good at it.

“We are just fleas, Ochako” Himiko whines as she sits on a wooden chair while Ochako is consoling Keigo who keeps whining.

Turns out that Touya-nii now works as Keigo’s assistant in the ranch after having a fallout with Enji. He also lives there.

“I’m trying to revitalize the vineyard but seems like me alone won’t be able to solve it” he says.

The vineyard is high maintenance and Keigo and Touya alone won’t be enough.

“If only we can draw more people in to work here” he looks at Izuku expectantly. Izuku has a bad feeling about this.

Finally, after exchanging contact numbers, the trio leaves the ranch to head over to the high street area in the northern part of the Town.

Museum and Library

The museum and library are located the Highstreet area where most of the business are located. Sadly, there are many stores that has been closed permanently. It looks more like a ghost town now. Izuku remembers that Mina and Yuuga used to live in this area.

“How boring” Neito whines.

“Shut up, Neito. Why are you here anyway? I thought the library is closed today” Yo rolls his eyes while he types furiously.

“Tch, there is nothing to do at home anyway. I’m bored” he whines.

“Then find something else to do. I’m busy with my report” Yo ignores him.

“You’re no fun” Neito pouts.

Suddenly the doors are opened.

“A visitor? How unusual?” Neito looks at the curiously.

“Ah, it’s just you two and ohh” Neito realised that it wasn’t just Ochako and Himiko who came.

“How rude” Ochako says.

“Yeah, you should be grateful that both of us are taking a time to grace you with our pre..” Himiko hasn’t finished her sentence when Neito moves quickly and kneel in front of Izuku.

“What a beauty, how unworthy of us. Welcome, our beloved omega. My name is Neito Monoma and I’m the librarian here” as he kisses Izuku’s hand.

“Ummm, thanks” Izuku is befuddled. What the heck is happening.

“Hey, Neito! You can’t just steal away the new omega” Yo protests as he takes away Izuku’s hand from him.

“Greetings, babe. My name is Shindo Yo aka Professor Shindo Yo. I work as a geologist and I also manage this museum” he looks straight into Izuku’s eyes when suddenly a punch lands on his face.

“Stop scaring him, you made him uncomfortable” Ochako yells.

“It’s ok, Ochako-san” izuku assures, though he was kind of creeped out by these two.

After apologizing, Himiko tells Izuku that he can learn about farming and foraging with the books in the library, He can also inspect geodes and gems if he brings it to Yo. Sadly, for artefact, there is currently no archaeologist in the museum who can help.

“Maybe next Spring, my colleague Prof. Tokoyami will come from Kofu to start his research here” Yo says.

After a brief conversation, all of them leave to grocery store.

Grocery Store

“Irasshai..Oh, Izu-chan!” a silver haired woman greets them as they enter the premise.

The grocery store is your typical Japanese Supermarket where they sell fresh produce, meat, dairy, cooked side dishes, snacks, noodles, seasonings & herbs, bentos, drinks and frozen food. They also have a curio section for souvenirs and farming section for seeds.

“Rei-san, long time no see” Izuku greets back.

“Fuyu-chan, Izuku is here!” she then calls out the woman with splotches of red in her mostly silver hair and glasses.

“Izu-chan! Oh my god, you’re really here” she greets.

“Fuyu-nee, long time no see” Izuku bows.

“My my, how polite” Rei is amused.

Rei then explains that she mostly buys the veggies from outside supplier now since there is no farm in the town and the dairy and eggs from Keigo.

Suddenly an older man with a friendly smile and blond hair enters the grocery store.

“Oh, good timing. Fatgum-san! Meet Izuku-chan!” she calls him.

“Oh, the newcomer! Nice to meet yer! The name’s Toyomitsu Taishiro but yer can call me Fatgum! I’m a merchant” he introduces himself. He has the same accent as Ochako and Himiko. Izuku guessed he is from Osaka.

“I heard ya bought the sweet digs near the woods? If yer don’t mind, I’ll e your buyer and I’ll be more than happy to sell yer produces all over the town including this grocery store” he says.

“My, that would be wonderful! It might save our town from All for One!” Fuyumi chimes in.

“Huh? All for One?” Izuku wonders. All for One Corp is a mega business owned by his great grandpa (Inko’s dad) who looks much younger than his age. Rumour has it that he hates Toshinori and never actually gave his blessing for their marriage. He owns numerous shopping centres all over the country, including Junes in nearby Yasoinaba.

“Since many shops has closed. Shigaraki-san has a plan to buy out all the high street and building a shopping to attracts more people to this town” Himiko explains.

“Wait, what?”

“Yes, after a long negotiation, he will give your grandpa three years to rejuvenate this town. If he fails, then he will hand over the land for free” Re says.

“What? That is horrible!”

“That is why we need to make the farm successful that it will attract more workers and in return it will attract more people to live in this town! Then the local people will be back and open their store again” Ochako says.

“We have such a high hope for you, Izu-chan” Fuyu-nee looks at him expectantly.

Izuku thinks that revitalizing the farm itself won’t be enough to bring more people into this town but looking at how the people are putting such high hopes for him, he can’t just refuse.

“I’ll do my best” he says sheepishly.

Then the conversation branches into how his siblings are, Fuyu-nee has married an outsider name Rumiko who runs a gym nearby and Izuku also finds out that Natsu-nii’s partner is Tenko, his own cousin.

Before leaving, Fatgum, out of nowhere, asks for Izuku’s number.

“It’s for ma kid. Ya know him? Red head, well, dyed red. Always saying manly and stuff?” he says.

“Ohhhh, Kirishima!”

“Yeah, that’s ma kid”

After exchanging number, Fatgum says that he’d love to have Izuku to join for a dinner with his husband, his father and his son.

Hi, guys. Sorry for the unannounced hiatus.

I’ve been busy with other stories and real life has been keeping me stressed. So much that I have no energy to update the chapters.

However, these days I’ve been playing the 3DS released of Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon to relieve my stress and I’m hooked!

I’ve also started playing Pioneer of Olive Town and despite the critics, I actually found it very enjoyable.

But, really… Trio of Towns in on different level.

I have to say that for the meantime, Trio of Towns is my favourite among all the titles. The gameplay is very challenging since you need have goals to fulfil, the MC has family and the townsfolks are all interesting.

Not to mention the ability to visit 3 different towns with different cultures. Oh my god, I hope they would make the remake for PC like Friends of Mineral Town.

I’ve also started to play Harvest Moon: A New Beginning and Story of Seasons but it is still in early stage that I can’t say much. The bachelors are dreamy, though. I mean Neil and Raeger?

Nonetheless, it inspired me for more lore and worldbuilding for this book.

1. Lore and Worldbuilding

Everything was started by Nana Shimura and her husband, Yoichi Shigaraki who hailed from Tsuyukusa Village in Trio of Towns. They sailed from the island, blazed the trail and pioneered the town from the grounds up.

Along the way, they were helped by 5 other people who arrived there from different town and Mineral Town was born. Mineral Town became a prosperous city where farming, ranching, mining, fisheries and wineries were advancing. Nana herself was a successful farmer with Yoichi became the first mayor of the town. One of the pioneers, Daigoro was a successful fisherman and his direct descendant is the Kirishimas.

When they died, they became the deities who protect the land as we saw with Nana, the Harvest Goddess and Daigoro, God of the Sea. We will see other deities later in the story but I still have no idea who should be whom. I’m thinking Yoichi (first OFA user) to be the supreme deity of the Mineral Town’s Pantheon though. The Ephemeral Shrine which is headed by Shirakumo family and the main shrine of the town enshrined the 7 deities and Izuku can pray there for better luck. Although he needs to go to the specific location to meet the deities such as waterfall in the woods for Nana (and Dessie) and a small island near the shore for Daigoro. By increasing their friendship point, Izuku can get more items, crafting recipes and even skills increase. Nana can even help him increase love point in any bachelors Izuku interested in.

Back to not so far past, Inko Shimura and Hisashi Shigaraki were their descendant. Hisashi himself is Inko’s great uncle and a successful businessman as he is the founder of “All for One Corp” that is based in the capital. Inko married Toshinori Yagi, a trader who suddenly collapsed in the town during snowy night with his father, Sorahiko (Gran Torino). Inko was the one who treated his wound and both fell in love soon after.

Toshinori then managed the farm that was inherited from Inko’s ancestor with Inko and Kotaro (Inko’s nephew). Both successfully transformed the farm into not producing just crops but wines, cheeses, yarns, cloths and butters. Until industrial boom in the surrounding cities and many people left the town. Toshinori then became a mayor to help the town but it was inevitable and the farm was abandoned.

AFO Corp bought packets of lands surroundings the towns and built gated community and residential areas for people who works in surrounding cities. Sadly, due to lack of amenities in the old residential and business district, the new residents only stay in their home and shops elsewhere.

Now AFO Corp wants to seize the town by buying the farm’s land and turn it into factory complex which will pollute the surroundings. Izuku then makes a deal with his great uncle to help revitalize the town.

The current amenities are: Rumi’s Gym, Rei’s Grocery, Todoroki Steels, Hatsume and Melissa’s Tech, Neito’s Library, Keigo’s Ranch, Spinner’s Konbini, Magne’s Flower Shop, Shinji, Tenko and Ochako’s Lumberjack and Decorations, General Hospital and Kirishima’s Fisheries.

2. Mission

Increase the engagement of the new residential districts folks by creating festivals, help opening stores to lure the townies who left the town to come back and renovating plus upgrading many public facilities and service for tourism and commerce. Izuku ahs three years to accomplish it or All for One Corporation will buy the farm land and turn it into a factory.

3. Izuku’s farm

Izuku’s farm is inspired with Trio of Towns and Pioneer of Olive Town where he will start with only one accessible area where he can farm and repair the existing barn and chicken coop. He can expand it later with the help of Ochako. There is also a mine where he can extract some common gems, irons and stones. Shouto regularly visits this mine to gather materials and Izuku can also help him for a small exchange of money.

There are different forageables in each area and Izuku can either read the book in the library to determine if it is safe to be eaten or ask Neito.

Ochako will also help him building a small shack free of charge and as time goes by, he can expand it into a mansion.

The first area has no access to the sea.

Later in second area, he will get an access to both a small lake, vineyard and a river where he can fish for more varieties of fishes. The are is also bigger with sturdier tree which he can cut down and made into lumbers. There is also a bigger mine here and if Izuku has a better relationship with Shouto, he will reduce the price of gems, ingots and ores in his shops. The mine has silver ores and more valuable gems.

The third area is the biggest and it has an access to the sea, as well as the third and final mine. The mine has golds, orichalcum ores and valuable gems.

Izuku can also buy a furnace to create ingot from Enji later to be used as requirement for tool upgrades.

The third area has a small pier where Izuku can commission a boat from Ochako (with the help of TetsuTetsu later)

4. More connections to Story of Seasons?

I’m inspired with the trade system in Story of Seasons where you can get merchants from different towns and how the Pioneer of Olive Town’s DLC allows you to travel to different town (albeit disappointing) via boat. I would love to incorporate the trio of towns (Lulukoko, Westown and Tsuyukusa), Oak Tree Town and Echo Town in this book. Maybe subtle like Ochako used to study under Ludus and how some of the townies actually from those towns before moving to Mineral Town (Nemuri as Komari’s absent mother and Eda moved to Mineral Town after her husband’s death to be with her son’s family). Probably I should add the bachelors there to be potential bachelor too?

I love Neil, Ludus, Hinata, Yuzuki, Wayne, Ford and Raeger, lol. What do you think?

Hinata may open a branch store of Ra Man in Mineral Town and Raeger may come during festivals to sell foods from Oak Tree Town. Ford could come as a doctor for the hospital (making Tenya super jealous, Wayne can open a Postion branch in Mineral, Yuzuki may come and help Aoyama with his fashion empire, Ludus can come to study architecture under Shinji and Neil may come as a new vet. The possibility is endless.

5. The Mineral Townies

The Current Townies:

Deities:

• Nana Shimura: Harvest Goddess. Despite having a great power, Nana is pretty lazy. After becoming a goddess, she thinks that she doesn’t need to work as much as when she was mortal and she just left all the works to her husband while she is jet setting around the world in her mortal disguise. When her husband fell into deep slumber due to magic gone wrong, she panicked. Now she is helping Izuku with his goals so she can wake her husband up.
• Daigoro Banjou: God of the Sea. The Kirishima is descended from him and has been worshipping him as their main deity. Daigoro is tired of Nana’s antics and feels bad seeing how heavy Izuku’s burden is. He loves peace and quiet. Lives in an island near the shore where he hosts tea party every Spring with Tsuyu.
• Dessie (from Trio of Towns): Harvest Goddess in training and long-suffering Nana’s servant. Dessie originally is the protector deity of Westown but her magic is so sucks that her older sister instructed her to learn from Nana. Her sister is currently substituting her in Westown. Dessie will be the one who visits Izuku to give clues and instructions on what to do next.
• Others (the other OFA holders, not decided yet what they role should be). Currently in slumber unless Izuku rejuvenate the land by making the town prosperous.

Humans:

The Shimuras:

• Tenko: Izuku’s cousin and interior designer. Beta. Used to live with great uncle Hisashi but had a fight due to mysterious reason and fled to Mineral Town. Love video games and currently dating Natsuo. Izuku can request furniture and interior design from him.
• Inko: Izuku’s grandma and Shouta’s mother. Lovely old woman who works as the head nurse at the hospital.
• Toshinori: The Mayor. He tries his best but it is not enough. Not getting along well with Shouta.
• Sorahiko: A cranky old man who used to work as a forest ranger. Usually seen teaching Katsuki about his job. Toshinori and Nezu’s adopted father.
• Nezu: Sorahiko’s adopted son. Sadistic, twisted accountant.

The Bakugous:

• Masaru: Mitsuki’s omega husband who works as a fashion designer.
• Mitsuki: Fashion designer. Loves fantasizing Katsuki and Izuku’s getting married.
• Camie: Katsuki’s sister who works remotely as an influencer. She will help with the tourism later.
• Katsuki (Bachelor): A ranger and a cook. Katsuki has been in love with Izuku ever since they were children. He was confused on what to do with his life but with Izuku’s push, he decided to become a chef later. If the marry, Katsuki will cook everyday and when Izuku’s stamina down to 20%, he will appear to give him food.

The Todorokis

• Enji: The patriarch of Todoroki Clan. One of the founders (En) is their ancestor and they worship him as their main deity. Tough and cold, he owned Todoroki Steels and Todoroki Winery in the past. Now only Todoroki Steels remain. Separated from Rei and in a bad term with all his children.
• Rei: The owner or Rei’s Grocery. Quirky and a bit kooky but overall, a nice woman. Izuku can help her find her courage later on.
• Touya (Bachelor): Touya dreams of opening Todoroki Winery. He is currently working at the Ranch. Izuku can invite him to work at his vineyard (in the second area of his farm) and unlock winery later. The perk of marrying him will be max quality of wine and grapes. As well as higher price for both. Touya will help at tending the winery and vineyard too.
• Natsuo: The GP at the Hospital. Currently dating Tenko and live together with him at the new residential area. Hates his father.
• Fuyumi: Working at the grocery store but holds a teaching license. Dating Rumi. Izuku can help her open a school later.
• Shouto (Bachelor): The aloof heir of Todoroki Steel. Hates his father. Same like Katsuki, has been in love with Izuku since child. The perks of marrying him will be, free random minerals everyday in the morning, lower price for tools upgrade and ingots and higher price for ores, gems and ingots for shipping.

The Kirishimas

• Rappa: The patriarch of Kirishima’s fisheries. Used to be part of Shie Hassakai before arrested and decided to turn his life around. Married Fatgum and went back home. A rough around the edges but a good guy inside. Loves uncouth jokes.
• Toyomitsu (Fatgum): A merchant from Osaka and Rappa’s husband. They met at the jail when Fatgum worked as a con artist. Now he lives an honest live and instill chivalry to their sons. Extremely proud of Tamaki, Tetsutetsu and Eijiro.
• Eijiro (Bachelor): Fisherman. Very manly (in his own word). A true gentleman and very chivalrous. Head over heels for Izuku and probably the easiest to woo compared to other bachelors (if it is a game). The perks of marrying him will be higher shipping price for fish related items and easier to catch high level fishes. Eijiro will also give Izuku random expensive fishes everyday (in a rare occasion, legendary fish).

The Togatas

• Chiyo (Recovery Girl): Mineral Town General Hospital’s Director. Eda’s younger sister who moved to Mineral Town to be with her sister. Chiyo is extremely grateful for Eda who paid her medical schools and she vowed to care for her when she got old. Currently being pursued by Sorahiko.
• Eda Togata, formerly Shuuzenji (from Story of Seasons): a former farmer who used to live in Oak Tree Town. After her husband died, she moved back to Mineral Town to be with her son’s family. Eda is tending her small farm and will be Izuku’s first mentor in farming. Eda is high key shipping Izuku and Mirio (her grandson) just like in canon when she ships MC and Fritz. Izuku will live in her house while Ochako and Shinji is constructing his shack. I’m conflicted if I should make her dead later as in the canon and her farmer will be inherited by Izuku? What do you think?
• Mirai Togata (Sir Nighteye): Eda’s son and Mirio’s father. Mirai is working as City Hall’s landscaper and city planner. Too bad since the financial situation of the town is so bad, none of his plan can come to fruition. But maybe with the arrival of Izuku, things may change?
• David Shields: Retired inventor and Mirai’s husband. Toshinori’s adopted son.
• Melissa Shields: Izuku’s cousin and Mei’s wife. Seems cool and collected but as crazy as her wife when it comes to invention.
• Mirio Togata (Bachelor): New secretary of Toshinori. Very enthusiastic, strong, muscular and nice. A himbo through and through. Izuku can get lower price when shopping if he marries him and it will be easier to increase friendship points with the townies too.

Wild Wild Pussycat:

• Chatora Yawara: The chef of Yaoyorozu Inn.
• Shino Sosaki: Maid of Yaoyorozu Inn
• Tomoko Shiretoko: Accountant of Yaoyorozu Inn
• Ryuko Tsuchikawa: Waiter of Yaoyorozu Inn’s Restaurant
• Kouta: Nephew of Shino and just turned 18. Lives in Musutafu for the time being but will move back to Mineral Town. Secretly Eri’s boyfriend.

The Iidas:

• Tensei: The policeman. Masaki’s husband.
• Masaki (Normal hero: Manual): Firefighter and Tensei’s husband.
• Tenya (Bachelor): Resident Doctor. Izuku’s health will increase if he marries him and his stamina will reduce slower. Izuku can get free stamina boost and free medicine per day too.

Others:

• Madame Midnight aka Nemuri Kayama: Mama and owner of Sonnambulist Emporium. Omega. Originally from Tsuyukusa Town and the wife of Ginjiro plus the mother of Komari. A free-spirited woman who travelled the world to taste different cuisines and alcohols before settling in Mineral because her spirit said so. Established the Izakaya or Japanese style bar there and became somewhat a mentor to Katsuki. She still visits Tsuyukusa on her day off and Izuku can come with her if their friendship points are high enough. Izuku can also buy perfumes and recipes from her. Later Katsuki will work there full time.
• Shinji (Kamui Woods): Ochako’s mentor. The husband of Yu. Izuku can buy lumbers here.
• Magne: The town’s florist. Sells flower seeds and bouquet.
• Spinner: He owns and works in the convenience store. The franchise is owned by AFO company.
• Compress: An illusionist who works at the convenience store. Izuku can hire him to perform at the festivals later.
• Twice: A retired actor who lives in the new residential district. Toga’s childhood friend and went to Mineral Town to live a simpler, peaceful life. Later, he will get treatment with Hound Dog.
• Tsuyu Asui: Marine biologist from Oak Tree Town. Omega. Currently she is doing research of Mineral Town’s dolphins. She can see and talk with Daigoro and Izuku has to befriend her to unlock the blessed island where Tsuyu and Daigoro have a tea party every Friday’s afternoon during Spring. Izuku can get tea seedling, recipes for tea and some foods each time he attends the party. The bachelors were trying to court her when she first arrived but Ochako won big time.
• Ochako Uraraka: the town’s trainee architect and apprentice lumberjack. Used to live in Lulukoko as Ludus’ apprentice. Originally from Osaka and Tsuyu’s mate. Love money and very frugal due to her hard upbringing.
• Himiko Toga: Nurse, aspire to be a tour guide. Ochako’s half-sister (thus the different surname) but raised together. Himiko has an obsession with blood and it made her to pursue medical degree yet she is so unmotivated. These days she wants to be a tour guide. Izuku can help her by upgrading the town and repairing the ferry’s pier later.
• Neito Monoma (Bachelor): Librarian and Botanist. Originally from Echo Town and Neil’s younger brother. Somehow has an inferior complex as he used to be compared to his older brother by his parents. Graduated as a botanist and work as a town’s librarian plus he is doing part-time in Magne’s flower shop as a hobby. Izuku can hire him to tend his corps like Inasa but he is more expensive since the quality of the crops will increase if he tends it for a month. If Izuku marries him, he will be a great help with tending crops and the crops will always be in highest quality.
• Keigo Takami (Bachelor) : Rancher. Originally from Westown. Inspired by his brother, Wayne, he moved to Mineral Town to make his own living by opening a ranch. Not really good with cows, sheeps and goats but amazing with chicken. He will help Izuku’s with his chickens and rabbits if he marries him and his ranch will be part of Izuku’s. Adding more barns and high-quality animals.
• Yo Shindo (Bachelor): A charming geologist. Originally from Oak Tree Town and came to Mineral Town with Tsuyu for research purpose. If Izuku marries him, there will be no typhoon and every foreagables’ quantity will turn double and more expensive.
• Rumi Usagiyama: Martial arts teacher and the owner of local gym. Izuku can boost his stamina here. Rumi is Fuyumi’s mate.
• Yu Takeyama: Aka Mount Lady due to her huge appetite. A foodie who works as waiter at Madame Midnight’s bar. She is married to Shinji and she is secretly a famous food blogger.
• Momo Yaoyorozu: The owner of Yaoyorozu’s Inn. Originally from Tsuyukusa and the sister of Kasumi. Jirou’s mate. Wears Kimono most of the times and Izuku can buy some recipes from her. Higher friendship points will lower the inn’s rate.
• Kyoka Jirou: An aspiring musician who owns an antique shop. Momo’s mate. Sells antique furniture.
• Inasa Yoarashi (Bachelor): Jack of all trades. He will help doing chores in Izuku’s farm for a fee and the more friendships point he has, the cheaper the fee will be. Later if they are married, Inasa will do all the chores with a great result, unless Izuku tells him not to.
• Oboro Shirakumo: Shouta’s ex and the shrine priest. Somehow, he senses some connection with Izuku but what would it be? It is certainly feels parental. His ancestor is part of the original 7 pioneers.

Future Townies:

• Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada. Izuku, Hitoshi and Eri’s parents. Will move back after reconciliation with their parents and after Izuku discovers a dark secret.
• Rikido Sato (bachelor): He becomes depressed after Izuku left Tokyo and asked Hitoshi on Izuku’s whereabouts. As a good twin, he gave him the address. Rikido will appear on Summer the first, knocking on Izuku’s house. He will decide to stay in the town and will stay in the Yaoyorozu’s inn until the renovation of the old bakery which will take one month. In the meantime, he will open a bakery stall in the inn. Izuku can buy bread, dessert and pastry recipes from his bakery.
• Tamaki Amajiki (Bachelor): Eijiro’s eldest adopted brother. Merchant in training. Currently working under Moriya in Tsuyukusa Town. Loves honey and dabbles in apiary. He needs to move back if Izuku wants to unlock beekeeping. If Izuku marries him, he can haggle everywhere and the produces’ price will increase. Plus, bees related product’s quality and price will increase.
• Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu (Bachelor): Eijiro’s brother who lives in Lulukoko as a fisherman. Proficient in making fish related fermented products. If Izuku marries him, he will set up a smoking and fermentation facilities where Izuku can unlock smoking and fermented products.
• Mashirao Ojiro (Bachelor): Rumi’s future disciple from Echo Town (Karate unlock). Izuku’s speed will increase if he marries him.
• Hitoshi Aizawa and Denki Kaminari: Moving back with their parents. Eri, too.
• Kotaro and Nao: Izuku’s uncle and aunt. Currently managing a ranch in Oak Tree Town. Izuku can convince them to move back if he unlocks the ferry. They will help Izuku with the animal byproducts (cheesemaking, cloth making, etch). Needs them to move back for the options to appear.
• Hana: Izuku’s cousin and Tenko’s sister. At first, she used to work in Mineral Town General Hospital’s pharmacy until it was closed due to lack of patients and she had to move to Yasoinaba General Hospital in a town nearby. Izuku has to donate some materials and money in order to establish a new pharmacy when one of the townies (undecided) get sick, then Hana will move in. Hana sells varieties of medicines and tonics with better result than Chiyo’s. Hana later will be in a relationship with Shino Sosaki.
• Snipe: a hunter from Westown who falls in love with the beauty of Mineral Town. He will visit the town after the ferry is unlocked and the Town’s popularity reached D-rank. Later will replace Katsuki as the ranger.
• Ryo Inui (Hound Dog): After the Town’s level increased to D-rank, the hospital will get renovated and he will come as a psychologist. Izuku will get a regular therapy with him.
• Mina Ashido: She will open a salon.
• Yuuga Aoyama: He will open a boutique.
• Toru Hagakure: She will open a glasswork.
• Ibara Shiozaki: Will work at the shrine.
• Itsuka Kendo: Will work with Rumi (Pilates unlock).
• Nejire Hado: Tamaki and Mirio’s school friend who moved to Mineral Town to start a news agency. She will later start a local TV station (with the help of Izuku and he has to marry both Tamaki and Mirio).
• Shie Hassakai: Yakuza’s organisation who fled to Mineral Town. Somewhere along the line, they will atone for their sins as they mingle with the townsfolk and surrendered themselves to the police.

Chapter Text

Izuku POV

What a fruitful day. Izuku ended up staying in grocery store to browse the produce.

“Interested? All of our produces are sourced from the surrounding farms and it is all 100% organic” Rei explains.

“Wow, that must be expensive” but the prices are pretty affordable…

“Maybe in the big cities but we have a relatively easy access these days to the farms so the price is lower. Too bad though that we don’t have Mineral Town’s produced veggies” Rei sighs.

“It was such a spectacle in the past when your grandpa won harvest festivals with the crops he produced. Giant veggies with 5 stars qualities, flowers with beautiful aroma and cheeses that a 3 stars chef even went as far from France came to procure it” she reminisced at the good old time.

“AfO Corporation is offering to buy this grocery store to open for a new bigger hypermarket in this town. They said it will help boost the economy as the golden gate people will shop here instead of Junes in the next town” Fuyumi sighed.

“Great uncle did?” Izuku barely remember his great uncle who owned the company. They did meet when he was a child, when they were on the better term with his family.  He owned the company in Tokyo and Izuku was tempted to apply there after graduating but he changed his mind after researching about the company.

“Yeah, him and his sweatshop company have been trying to purchase land in this region. Junes Department Store was the first in this area and it did boost the economy of Yasoinaba area. Mineral are is next” Fuyumi further explained.

“Thank goodness, people here love their land too much that we still stand by it. Having the farm in full swing will have the same effect but at least not at the cost of harming local business” Rei nodded.

“That is why we are overjoyed when we heard that you would take over the farm. Thank you so much, Izu!” Fuyumi exclaimed enthusiastically.

Darn it, seems like news travel really fast here. He hadn’t made the decision to inherit the farm yet the whole town already thought that he would.

He really had no choice, hadn’t he?

Izuku let out a half smile.

“No problem, Fuyu-nee” he said.

While in the background, Himiko eyed him with a knowing glance while Ochako was busy shopping for dinner with her crew + Tenko.

Outside the Grocery Store

The snow was falling harder accompanied with northern wind blowing as if Boreas was fuming with anger and despite the wool fleeced coat he wore, Izuku began feeling the sharp coldness underneath it.

It seemed like the gentle snowfall slowly turning into blizzard.

“Geez, you’re so weak. If you want to live in this town, you ought to get used to this climate. Need to remind you that it is much much colder compared to Tokyo. Even summer only reaches 24 degrees maximum and 27 degrees during heatwave in which it randomly occurs” Himiko rolled her eyes while walking even faster.

Izuku gritted his teeth in annoyance.

“Gosh, last summer we even had 3 storms within 2 months. It was horrible. You better ask Ochako to build you some protection for your fields or the quality of your crops may decrease, or worse destroyed” she warned.

Izuku took his small notebook and nodded alongside while writing down the important point.

Himiko just shook her head in disbelief. Could this amateur become a full fledge farmer she thought?

“Hey, a little warning from moi. Farming is a tough job. My granny was one and it broke her back. You better think it though” she said.

Izuku looked at him with a serious gaze.

“I’ve been contemplating on what to do with my life” he said while struggling walking on a piling snow road.

“And you think becoming a farmer is an easy way out?” she asked sarcastically.

“NO!” he yelled.

Even Izuku was surprised to hear that he yelled something in the middle of the street.

“Oh lala, that was suprising” Himiko looked amused at his reaction.

They stared at each other for few minutes before Izuku was shivering due to the cold weather.

“Come on, you’re even struggling walking in the snow with your bony body. Farming is a hard work you know” she sighed.

“Sorry…” Izuku looked down while continue walking with Himiko in front of him.

“So, what is your answer?” she asked.

“….”

“What do you want to do next? You quitted your job, right?” she pressed.

Before Izuku could answer, suddenly her phone was ringing.

“Hello? Huh? Now?! Ok…” she seemed agitated.

“Oh geez, the old hag summoned us. Let’s go to Town Hall” she rolled her eyes.

The walk to town hall was harder as the wind was blowing right on their faces. Izuku couldn’t feel his ears but he kept silent as Himiko might mock him for it.

As they walked near Town Hall, suddenly he saw a man with thick funky black leather coat and walked from opposite direction.

The man looked like the same age as his fathers and he had a wavy, cloudlike light blue hair with tanned skin.

“Yo! Himi-chan!” he waved with a wide smile.

“Ohhh, long time no see Mr. Shirakumo” Himiko cheered up.

“Let me introduced you to the new meat, this is Izuku, the son of Shouta-san” she continued.

The man seemed surprised when he heard his father’s name but his face expression hurriedly changed into normal one.

“Ahh, so you’re Shouta’s pup, huh. Nice to finally meet ya!” he goofily grinned.

“Oh, let me introduce you. This is Kannushi (Shinto Priest) Shirakumo Oboro-sensei. He lives in the grand shrine at the woodlands near the farm” Himiko introduced them.

“Ohh, yeah. Dad told me you were studying in Tokyo when we visited this town when I was young” now it clicked why Izuku had never met them.

“Correct, I have been back for 5 years now since then. Boy, it has been a long time since I heard about Sho” the last part somewhat there was vagueness attached but Izuku didn’t want to pry.

“Alright, children. I’d love to stay and chat but some urgent matter called. See ya later, Izu-chan. Let’s have a cup of coffee when you’re free” he put his hand on Izuku’s shoulder while walking.

That was when Izuku felt some surge of electricity and his nose caught a familiar scent as he passed by. Oboro-sensei seemed unbothered, though.

“Bye, sensei” Himiko waived back.

That was weird. The scent kind of reminded him of his mother (Shouta) but at the same time it kind of smelt like his own.

Izuku just brushed it off and went long with Himiko to the Town Hall.

Town Hall, Mineral Town

If there was a word to describe the Town Hall as a whole, that would be creepy and old.

The building had so much potential based on the architecture itself. It was built in redbrick exposed style which was on the edge during Meiji Restoration period and it seemed like no renovation had been done since then. Too bad as the correct maintenance might restore the magnificent building to their previous state, just like Tokyo Station.

The inside was better than the outside, at least it was clean. The furniture and decoration reminded him of Taisho period with stained glass and wooden furniture inspired by neo-classic style. Some of the paintings were creepy though.

“This place gives me goosebumps” Himiko cringed and for once, Izuku agreed.

They arrived at the office, inside was the typical Japanese office with no partition or cubicle between each desk.

“Oh Izuku” Inko approached and opened her arms for a hug.

Izuku hugged her.

“Must be cold outside. Let’s warm ourselves up. Good timing since the Town Hall has ceased operation for today due to the bad weather”

As they approached the recreational room.

A big burly man with a blond hair came out.

“Oh, you must be Izuku!” he loudly proclaimed.

Good, another loud blond.

“Hi, my name is Mirio! I’m currently working as Mr. Yagi’s secretary” he bowed.

The bloke shook his hand with such power Izuku’s eyes bulged. Himiko tried to cover her laugh but failed.

“Mirio! Izuku just recovered from his sickness, please be gentle” Inko said.

“Ah, so sorry Izuku-kouhai. Would you like me to carry you instead?”

“No, I don’t think…whoah!” suddenly this giant just scooped him up and carried him bridal style.

Izuku let out a sighed while Himiko couldn’t hold back the laughter. Inko looked panicked.

They entered the room and there was his grandpa and 2 other gentlemen there.

“I brought you, Izuku-kouhai” Mirio cheerfully said while putting Izuku down to the sofa.

“Good to see you, Izuku-shonen. How are you feeling?” his loud grandpa asked.

“Ugh, could be better” Izuku rolled his eyes.

“Toshi, you fool” a stern looking gentleman with grey suit and a pair of glasses groaned.

“Izuku, long time no see” this was his adopted uncle, David Shield who happened to be Melissa’s father.

“Hello, uncle” Izuku greeted.

“Oh, sorry for startling you” grandpa sheepishly apologize.

“Here you go, have some tea” Inko put the cups on the coffee table in front of them as they were sitting on the sofa expect Izuku who was already sitting.

“Let me introduce you, this is my secretary Mirio and my aide, Sir Nighteye and you uncle, David”

Sir nodded as he was introduced.

“Are there other people or only you who runs the Town Hall?” Izuku asked.

“Since we’re suffering from low population, the municipal bureau didn’t send us any new civil servant. We only got Mirio after begging them for two years” Sir explained.

“Yeah… We’re quite in the predicament here” Uncle said.

“You probably have heard about the situation with your great grandpa” Inko added.

Turned out the rumour was true. If the town couldn’t pay back the debt to the great uncle and attract more people to live there, great uncle will open a factory there which will destroy the ecosystem but able to attract new workers.

“Therefore, we would like to ask you if you’re willing to become a farmer in your family’s estate as the farm was the driven force for better economy in the past” grandpa said.

“I think this is too much of a burden for a novice. I think we should just sell it to the property developer and pay back our debt” Sir added.

“With all due respect, sir. Even if we sell it, the continuation of this town might be in jeopardy as we don’t really have steady revenue” Mirio argued.

“We’ll find a way. It is too risky to put the whole burden to an amateur” Sir scoffed.

Izuku was tired. He knew farming was hard but he didn’t like being disrespected.

“Well, well. Let’s cool down for a sec. Let’s just ask Izuku what he wants” uncle said.

All eyes were on him. Shoot, this was awkward.

“Umm, I thought I could relax after quitting my job in Tokyo and soul searching here for a while and part of the option was to take over the farm. However, after hearing how hard it is to run the farm as an untrained farmer, I think I need to think it through first” Izuku answered it honestly.

“See? He doesn’t even have the drive to continue the farm. Typical city boy” Sir grunted.

“Excuse me, Sir. I just met you a few minutes a go and I don’t appreciate your tone of dismissal” Izuku began to lose his cool.

“Well, respect is earned and frankly, things are different here in countryside” Sir argued.

“I understand that but that doesn’t mean you can just belittle me as if I was an immature child” Izuku said.

“You are a child! You are what? 25? Yet where is your alpha and pups? Besides, you ran away from your problem in the city and came here because farming is easier than your corporate job, huh? Well, little omega like you should know that in small town, life is not as pampered as trendy omega in the city with all the alphas in your disposal” Sir also slowly lost his cool. The last sentence shocked everyone.

“Why you!” Izuku almost stood up when Inko slapped Sir on his face.

“I don’t appreciate your tone, young man. Should I remind you that you just insulted my grandchild and the entire omega in this town. I’m also an omega and your way of thinking reeks alpha supremacy that is not part of the city. You are also unmated and not from this town originally so sit down” Inko scolded.

Izuku wanted to clap.

Sir seemed very shock with how Inko reacted and he looked down in shame.

“Well, well. I’m so sorry for my subordinate, Izuku-shonen. I’m also apologizing for imposing our selfish desire for you to take the family farm without consulting you first” Grandpa bowed.

“I’m sorry for saying stupid statements though I still think you are inadequate for taking over the farm simply because of our lack of experience” Sir also bowed after seeing grandpa bowed.

Izuku then told them that he accepted the apology but he wanted to see how bad the farm was before making any decision.

Truth be told he still disliked Sir very much and when he checked the relationship info in the menu, seemed like the feeling was mutual.

When the snow finally calmed down, grandpa and Inko drove Izuku to see the farm.

The farm was divided into 3 areas, as the 1^st and 2^nd area were divided by a bridge on top of a river and the 2^nd and third area was divided by passageway between two hills.

The area itself was huge and all of it were surrounded by the sea.

The farm was located at the outskirt of woodlands but not that far from the town.

As they arrived, Izuku was shocked by the condition.

Basically, trees and weeds had grew uncontrollably and the facilities such as vineyard, coops, barns, silos, mills, stables, winery and even the mansion was in terrible condition.

“How….” Izuku was speechless.

“The house looks like a setting from Blair Witch Project” Izuku quipped looking at the scary mansion.

“You sure, we used to live in this place? In my memory it used to be such a beautiful home” Izuku continued.

Both Inko and Toshi weren’t able to answer. Izuku guessed it was due to expensive upkeep, so they moved to smaller mansion in the town now and left the old mansion to this dilapidated state.

“I don’t even think it is livable here. And…” he took a glance to the river side and realised that the bridge was split in two.

“Oh my god, the second area is inaccessible” he was shocked.

“Yeah, the storm last year destroyed it” Inko said.

“But it is okay! We can repair it!” Toshi assured but Izuku didn’t believe him.

“Will the town pay for it? Or at least renovate a small area for me to live while I’m starting out the farm?” he genuinely worried.

“Well, we can chip some money for setting up a temporary log house but we may ask you for a contribution fee” as Toshi robbed his back nervously.

Gosh, what a predicament he was in.

As they prepared to leave Izuku suddenly heard a weak meowing sound.

“Huh?”

He then searched the bushes where he found an orange tabby kitten looking weak.

“Oh my god, gramps and grammy! There is a kitten here!” he called.

Both Inko and Toshi hurriedly ran to his side and Inko checked the vital.

“Hmm, I’m not really well-versed with animal but she seems weak. Let’s bring her to Kouda’s clinic in the next town” she said.

Izuku then wraps the kitten carefully using the blanket they got in the car as they drove to Okina City.

Meanwhile at Madame Midnight’s Emporium

“Lalalala…” a woman in her 40s with purple kimono was cleaning the glass.

Suddenly the door was opened.

“We’re not opened yet” she yelled but the person didn’t care.

“Nemuri-san!!” she shouted.

“Oh my, Camie???” Nemuri shocked to see the source of the voice.

A gaudy blonde girl in her 20s with a faux fur coat and a luggage arrived.

“I got fired! Again!” she cried.

“Oh my, let me make you a drink”

“Make it strong!”

“Tch, you have to pay though” Nemuri let out a smirk.

“What happened with your job” suddenly there was a voice of a man in monotone tone.

“Gyah! Shouto! You totally shooketh me!”

The heterochromatic guy just sat in the counter without making any noise.

“Gosh, Shouto-san you almost made my heart stopped. Though it could be from your charm instead”

“Ohhh, Nemuri-san. You still got it” Camie high fived Nemuri who laughed while leaving Shouto dumbfounded with their interaction.

“Hehehe”

Nemuri then gave Camie her drink and sat next to her.

“Have you heard, though? Shouta-san’s boy has come back to this town. Apparently, his boat crashed in the sea and he got washed up here”

“Poor thing, how is he?” Camie asked.

“He miraculously survived but I heard Shouta is pissed because he basically ran away from Tokyo”

“I would be totally pissed, too”

“Anyhoo, he is a prime omega”

Shouto who was daydreaming suddenly stood up.

“Excuse me?”

“Umm, Izu-chan? He is a prime omega” Nemuri repeated the statement.

“Oh….” Shouto then sat down with a contemplative look.

Both Camie and Nemuri looked at each other with confused expression.

“It’s just, I’m afraid that he will meet Izuku” Shouta looked down.

“In that case, I will make sure to explain it carefully to him” Hizashi assured by sitting next to him.

Little did they know, Eri eavesdropped the conversation and had been trying to call Izuku numerous times to no avail.

“Darn it, Izu-nii. There’s no choice then” as she dialed the other number.

Since I’m not good with OC, I will add characters from other animes. Feel free to give me ideas and suggestions.

On that note, pregnancy for male omegas is much shorter than female betas, alphas and omegas as the gestation period is 2 months max (some birth even only takes 1 or 1,5 months). Special class omega such as Izuku may even save other alpha’s sperm inside his body and use it to fertilize his eggs without heat period or mating.

Izuku made a pact with his mates regarding the order of children.

1. Mahoro, Souma, Shoyo, Ami, Kazuya, Zenitsu and Sousuke were born in a same year with 6 months interval each and a month to rest.
2. Sogo, Sacchan, Akitaru and Erza (+Laxus, Orihime) were born 3 years after that with the same interval in each birth.
3. Katsuma (+Nagisa and Dabi’s child) were born 2 years later after the second planned birth.
4. Tetsuya was born a year after that (not planned).

Which means Mahoro is 3 years older than Sacchan, 5 years older than Katsuma and 6 years older than Tetsuya.

5. Bakugou Katsuki:

Shimano Mahoro from Boku no Hero Academia: Heroes Rising (alpha):

a stubborn and hot-headed girl (just like her sire) who hates living in a small town. Her idol is her aunt, Camie who used to be somewhat famous online before settling down in Mineral Town after being dumped by her sleazy boyfriend and fired from her modelling agency. Camie later worked as PR for Mineral Town’s tourism board, headed by Bubble Girl and Sir Nighteye. Mahoro refused to go to college but instead took a gap year for soul searching by working in Tourism board under Camie. Later, she ran away to Tokyo after having a big fight with Katsuki who wasn’t pleased of her decision to become a model (Camie arranged an audition for her) in Tokyo. A softie inside, loves Izuku & other dads, idolized Katsuki (though butting head all the time) and extremely protective of her siblings as the first child. Izuku always worried of her since she tends to be impulsive and not thinking through when making decision. Later, she ended up becoming a famous model who walks in runways all around the world. She sent an invitation for a fashion show in Paris to his family plus accommodation and plane ticket. Almost had a meltdown when her family didn’t appear but quickly became happy when they arrived (almost late). As the strong first born, she adored all of her sibling but sometimes she just fed up with Sacchan’s lewd joke as she never held up even in front of the two babies (Katsuma and Kuroko). Usually act as tsukkomi or straight man to Sacchan’s boke. Extremely protective and would defend the honour of her family. She punched a guy who slut shamed Sacchan when she was in high school.

• 12^th Child

Shimano Katsum a from Boku no Hero Academia: Heroes Rising (omega):

A shy and timid child. Completely different from his sister from the same dad, Mahoro. Katsuma was the youngest child for awhile until Izuku got pregnant with Tetsuya. Despite his shyness, Katsuma was a brave child who would sacrifice himself for others. He loved his siblings but he was the closest with Tetsuya (Kuroko) who was only a year younger than him. He loved to accompany Tetsuya who had a sickly body. Later Katsuma would pursue a career as a kindergarten teacher in Mineral Town.

6. Sato Rikido

• 2^nd Child:

Yukihira Souma from Shokugeki no Soma (prime omega):

Cheeky lad who only cares about making people happy with his cooking. Souma has a friendly rivalry relationship with his own father in terms of cooking but secretly enjoyed Izuku’s cooking more than Rikido’s. He decided to pursue a career in culinary by attending the prestigious Totsuki Academy and even continued his education abroad. After finishing his education, he later went back home to open a family diner with Katsuki. His harem followed him to Mineral Town basically telling him off to put his talent in a bigger city but he refused. Then they decided to prove him wrong by opening restaurants in Mineral Town to make a point that it will fail but their plan backfired as people from surrounding cities began to flood their restaurants and made Mineral Town as fine dining mecca in Shizuoka. The harem also proposed Souma to marry them but Souma was so dense that he accepted all of their proposal thinking it was a platonic proposal and ended up marrying all of his suitors. Luckily, he did have a feeling with them so no love lost.

Future mates: Isshiki Satoshi, Shinomiya Kojiro , Hayama Akira, Kurokiba Ryo, Aldini Takumi, Eishi Tsukasa, Kuga Terunori all from Shokugeki no Souma and alphas.

Thanks for his mates who opened restaurants in Mineral Town, Mineral Town became the centre of culinary tourism in Shizuoka Prefecture. The ingredients were all supplied by Izuku’s farm (straight farm to table style).

7. Iida Tenya:

• Third Children (twins):

Miyuki Kazuya from Daiya No Ace (alpha):

A complete 180 degrees from his twin, Kazuya is arrogant and sometimes, overconfident of his own ability. Also, a genius and very competitive in every subject. Despite all of that, he is actually pretty caring towards his family and team mates. He is especially caring towards, Ami who he suspects as being bullied and he was the one who advised her to open her heart when Usagi tried to befriend her. A prodigy in baseball as a catcher, later became a surgeon like his dad.

Future mate: Sawamura Eijun from Daiya no Ace (omega)

Mizuno Ami from Sailor Moon (omega):

A genius girl who had a trouble making friends due to her shyness. She thought that her strength was her brain only, therefore she tried her best to become a doctor like her dad. Had a massive inferiority complex and very insecure as her siblings were more outgoing and well-liked while she was always lonely without friends. As she spent her time mostly studying by herself and too shy to socialize, many of her classmates thought of her as arrogant and snobbish. Later met a cheerful girl named Usagi during middle school and finally began to come out her shell. She later became a paediatrician at the hospital.

8. Kirishima Eijiro:

Hinata Shoyo from Haikyuu (omega):

Described as the mood maker of the family. He has a big heart with even bigger personality and loud (just like his father). Though he lamented that he didn’t inherit his father’s height, instead he was just as tall as his mother. Not really book smart but surprisingly observant. What he lacked in intelligence, he made it up with his athleticism. Later attended Karasuno High School in the next town and had to commute with train. He met his rival/future mate, Kageyama Tobio when he joined the volleyball club. Later he became an athlete who qualified for Olympic. A classic mama’s boy who called Izuku everyday when he went on tournament or training camp. Lately he got annoyed with Mahoro who entered his apartment without prior noticed just to steal his booze and complain about her job.

Future mate: Kageyama Tobio from Haikyuu (alpha)

9. Takami Keigo

• Sixth Child

Agatsuma Zenitsu from Kimetsu no Yaiba (prime omega):

Scaredy cat, cry baby and a coward as his siblings explained. Zenitsu was always in a constant fear and tend to went from 0 to 100 real quick. Later he got diagnosed with anxiety and had to be medicated. After constant support from his parents and siblings, he began to get better. Especially since he started animal therapy by taking care the critters in his family farm with Keigo. Later he opened a green concept kindergarten at Keigo’s ranch while taking care of the animals.

Future mates: Kamado Tanjiro and Hashibira Inosuke from Kimetsu no Yaiba. Both alphas.

10. Shindo Yo:

Sousuke Yamazaki from Free! (alpha):

Seems like all Izuku’s children are very talented and Sousuke was definitely one of the most stood out. Deemed as the big brother figure due to his coolness and maturity despite being the 7^th child (as Souma, Zenitsu and Kazuya were all too unique). He probably one of the tallest of the sibling alongside Akitaru. He was a great swimmer and had been swimming since elementary with his first love, Rin. Later met his mate, Makoto after being introduced by Rin. Both of them probably the sweetest couple among all of their siblings. Later become a policeman with Sacchan, his friend, Rin and Aomine Daiki (Kuroko’s mate).

Future mates: Tachibana Makoto from Free! (omega).

11. Monoma Neito

• Eight Child:

Osaka Sogo from Idolish 7 (omega):

Another child who had an aspiration to become famous. The only difference between Mahoro and Sogo was, Neito was totally supportive of his endeavor (unlike Katsuki). A singing prodigy ever since he was a child, Sogo sang in church’s choir, appeared in promotional ad for Mineral Town’s tourism with Mahoro (he composed and sang the jingle, also) and won numerous singing competitions around Shizuoka Prefecture. He later appeared in the prestigious singing competition for high schooler on national TV and scouted to join Idolish 7 where he met his future mate, Nikaido Yamato.

Future mate: Tsunashi Ryunosuke from Idolish 7 (alpha).

12. Yoarashi Inasa

• Ninth and Tenth Children (twins):

Sarutobi Ayame aka Sacchan from Gintama (omega):

Probably the only child who Izuku felt he did something wrong with her upbringing as she gave him the most headache. Cheerful, boisterous and the loudest among all Izuku’s child. She later developed penchant for masochism and actually enjoyed people telling her off. Love to make perverted jokes and had committal issue until she met a policeman named Sakata Gintoki and became obsessed with him. A smart cookie with eyesight as bad as bat, she later become a municipal detective (stationed in Mineral Town) and it annoys the hell out of Sousuke.

Future mates: Sakata Gintoki (alpha) from Gintama.

Akitaru Obi from Enen no Shobotai aka Fire Force (alpha):

Another big brother figure who had an obsession with bodybuilding. He was the closest with Sousuke and together they always worked out at Inasa and Miruko’s gym ever since they were little. Akitaru even went as far as opening a bodybuilding club in his high school where he met his future mates. Unlike Sousuke, he was very easy going and probably the one who loved to treat their siblings (with Mahoro).

Future mates: Joseph Vulcan (alpha), Rekka Hoshimiya (Alpha), Hinawa Takehisa (alpha) and Kusakabe Shinra (omega). All of them are fellow firefighters.

Later, they would be stationed in Mineral Town alongside Kuroko’s mate, Kagami Taiga.

13. Shouto Todoroki

• Two Children:

11^th Child:

Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail (omega): 

The tomboy, girl boss who afraid of nothing. Idolized Mahoro and tried to imitate her when she was a child. Even asking Izuku if she could dye her red hair into blond. Good at anything and for some reason, had no shame when it came to wearing weird clothes. Under her tough and disciplined exterior, she loved cute things, sweet desserts and feminine clothing. Later inherited AfO Corporation as the CEO.

Future mates: Jellal Fernandes (alpha). A CEO of a rival company with a Japanese-Brazilian background who tried to crush her company first but ended up falling in love with her.

13^th Child:

Kuroko Tetsuya (prime omega):

The unplanned child. Tetsuya had a frail body and when he turned 4, he was diagnosed with a terminal tumour. Izuku brought him for a treatment in Tokyo under Dr. Midorima (Shintarou’s dad) who was researching the cure. Miraculously, he recovered but it did impact how the family treated him and became super protective of him. The only child who was aspiring to become a farmer. He fell in love with basketball during childhood and joined the club on middle school. People said he had a faint presence and he used it to his advantage with his misdirection skill for basketball. Had the penchant to scare people who weren’t aware of his presence. Deadpanned and blunt. Later inherited the farm and had the most number of mates among the siblings.

Future mates: Akashi Seijuro, Midorima Shintarou, Kagami Taiga, Aomine Daiki and Kise Ryota from Kuroko no Basket. All were alphas.

Seijuro would run his company in Shizuoka City and he had to commute with bullet train from Okina City every weekday. Shintarou was a doctor in the general hospital with Ami and Kazuya. Taiga worked as a firefighter with Akitaru’s squad. Daiki in the police office. Ryota as a freelance pilot while he helped Tetsuya mostly in the farm. Shigehiro decided to help Tetsuya in the farm too.

Still undecided (both for the children’s birth schedule or who the children will be) for Mirio, Touya, Tamaki and Tetsutetsu.
