Izuku jumped, and Katsuki is both deafened by his own quirk in the sludge villain attack, and suffering from PTSD from knowing it's his fault.
Aizawa and Nezu start investigating after breaks down in a panic attack on the way to the Nurse's Office after damaging his own leg in the battle trials on the second day.
