Post-Match

Summary:

Wu Chang and Michiko had a difference in opinion

Notes:

A little fic inspired out of a post-match duo hunter game.
I do not own any character. Some text has been altered in favor of the story. All survivor characters would be referred to by civilian name. And their age range will go from four to six years.
I wrote this fic in two languages. If you find something that is misspelled or out of grammatical order please let me know.
This fic is also posted in three different sites.
Enjoy!

Work Text:

It all happened after a duo hunter match in which Geisha and Wu Chang were going as friendly hunters in the tag game. They were picking their children up and spinning with them every time they tagged one, but there was a certain tension between the asian players.
The kids noticed something was off when their step parents started to push each other around when trying to catch the same kid. Especially when it was Andrew, Luca or Helena. Though they were more subtle when picking the blind girl.
Once they pulled all the kids to the post match room Wu Chang, as Xie Bi’an stomped in front of the woman.

“Pull up Michiko! No balls!” He said, clearly angry.
“This is why I’m taking the kids from you.” Michiko said behind her open fan. Catching the attention of all eight kids in the room.
“Good take them. Except Andrew and Luca. They’re your babies. And Helena.” Wu Chang said changing from Xie Bi’an to Fan Wujiu. And noticing the upset little faces looking at them he added. “Never mind. I’m taking them all.”
“You weren’t the one for me to begin with.” Michiko said, closing her fan harshly. “What? Picking favorites? All of them are my babies.” She said gesturing to the kids at her side.
“You weren’t mine either! It’s always been Mary.” Fan Wujiu said, pointing her with the umbrella.
“Mary is my wife! Brother!” Michiko exclaimed, scandalized. Even if they had a dual guardianship of the kids they weren’t an actual couple.
“No. I took your wife.” Fan Wujiu said smirking and knowing well enough that he was making the japanese woman get mad. Well madder.
“You two!...” She exclaimed but before she could lose complete control Andrew approached her and gave her a hug.
“I love you mother, father!” The albino said half hidden behind the woman.
“Baby… I love you as well.” The Geisha said, noticing what his beloved dear had done and thanking him internally. Wu Chang seemed to notice he was trespassing a line as well so he changed back to Xie Bi’an. “I love you too.” He said carising the kid’s head.
That seemed to cald the other childs as well but they couldn’t let it go. It was something they had been discussing for a while now so Xie continued:
“Now Michiko… sing the papers and give me custody of the kids. Now.”
“You. Stop copying me!” she muttered. “And no! I’m not giving them to you.” Michiko said sternly.
“Well I guess we have a problem. Huh?” Said Xie Bi’an, nearly losing it to let Fan Wujiu take over again to the horror of the kids looking at them.
“You’re the problem!” Michiko said, swinging her fan.
“You are!”.
“You are!”
“You are!”
“You are!”
The screams were getting higher and higher till one of the child's stepped in. “Daddy! Mommy! Don’t fight!” Helena said nearly in tears. Her cane nearly fell from her trembling hands.
“You are… Oop!” Wu Chang exclaimed, turning to her little angel and kneeling to her height, touching the shoulders of the blind girl. “Ok honey. Sorry for having a grumpy mom.”. He kissed her forehead and wrapped her in a hug.
“Baby don’t listen to daddy, he’s crazy.” Michiko added getting on her knees too and petting her head. Making the child calm down after some more sweet nothings.

That settled it. Their discussion wouldn’t get an end now, no in front of their kids at least. “Anyway… good luck little children in your next matches!” Daddy Wu Chang said to the expecting kids.
“Yes, good luck.” Michiko said, totally appeased at last. Giving a warm smile to her babies.
“Good luck to you too mommy and daddy!” The kids said before stepping out of the post match room in a calmed fashion line.

Once the last one went out of the door Wu said. “We should ask Joseph and Mary how they dealt with their wards instead of fighting over it.”
“That’s a good suggestion dear brother. Let’s talk over a cup of tea.” Michiko said behind her fan.
“Yeah, let’s talk.” Xie said. Fan humming in agreement from the umbrella.
