Chapter Text
You knew from very early that you had to share your soulmate with another person. While you were shy and didn't dare to write on your skin to reach out to the two people you had missed your timing completely and just observe how their romance unfold. Every day, you would find sweet little conversations between the two of them, well mainly from one of them, the responses always came a little harsh, but following for what were now 10 years of conversations, you had already figured out the way 'Katsuki' expressed his love, and you giggled every time that the boy referred to his partner as 'shitty hair'. You had also figured out they had found each other 3 years ago, being in the same class, and you really wondered what the two were like on an everyday basis. Not that you would ever intrude, being happy with only knowing that your partners had found each other was enough for you to continue and just live your life alone as it was from the start.
This all could be a happy ending if you didn't happen to go to the general courses in UA. While the school preached to train the next hero's, UA didn't really care about any of the general studies when it came to being very much heroic, and you did find that out only a few months after joining. Now, you would think that in a world with so many different kinds of people each having a somewhat unique quirk, that discrimination and bullying wouldn't be a topic of interest amongst the school ground, but that couldn't be further from the truth. To survive in a world where people had something to show off, lacking confidence was the worst trait that one could have and so you faced the harsh reality of the UA general courses.
Mimiko, just like her idol that was currently sitting in the top course of the UA hero courses, lunching away with newly found friends, wanted the chance to join the higher courses, but since her time freezing quirk was so limiting in the entrance exam, she wanted to try sneaking her way through her good grades and potential into the hero courses. So imagine when the teacher came up to you, asking if you wanted to train to become a hero with such a strong quirk like yours, Mimiko's world was shattered and in her rage and greed, the best idea she had managed to come up with, to cope with it was to bully you out of the school, not knowing that your intention was never to become a hero in the first place. And so her bullying began.
At first, it wasn't really apparent, there were things missing out of your bag, and you randomly started tripping over what seemed to be nothing. That was until your bully and her group of friends realized that the small things didn't really bother you. After that your little inconveniences became three big inconveniences that didn't miss on an opportunity to finally find out what would really grind your gears. There wasn't really a lot that they could do to make you mad or scared. Whenever they threw water at you or called you names, you just ignored it telling yourself they were harmless, and they would stop after not getting any reaction out of you. Unfortunately for you that was further from the case as you had underestimated Mimiko and undying desire to get rid of you, and soon you came to the point where the girl did, in fact, find your weakness, one that you hadn't realized how much power it held.
"Soo, since our little loser seems to not give us any little attention, maybe your soulmate will"
Your eyes widen as you stood in the corner of the bathroom in the early morning. You had slept in a little late and had hoped that you could wash up before your classes would finally start, but you hadn't expect Mimiko to enter right after you. With terror in your eyes you watched as she came closer, one of her friends using their quirk to hold your hands still on the floor as she approached you. You wanted to scream, telling her to stop it and to please not do it. For years on end you were quiet, living in the shadow of a perfect relationship that you didn't want to ruin, yet now as her other friend used her 'Silence' on you, you couldn't even beg for forgiveness. Shaking your head rapidly you had hoped that Mimiko would understand that you would do anything as long as she took that marker away from your face. Tears streamed down as you felt it make contact with your skin.
"It would be a shame waking up to work or going to school with such an ugly mark on your face wouldn't it?", she said trying to write something on your face, but failing as you trashed around, trying to get away.
After another few minutes of torture Mimiko gave up on trying to write something cohesive, since the words were just a bunch of scribbles anyway and decided to leave you be for the day, now that she finally found something that would grind your gears, something that you were vulnerable about.
As soon as both of them left the room, you rushed to the sink, trying your best to wash the marker of your face, begging that your soulmates were sleeping or were at least nowhere near a mirror, but to your horror, you realized that the marker was waterproof and any attempts to apply water on it just failed, so you opted to scrubbing. And you scrubbed almost until your skin was flushing red from irritation with still faint marker stains on your face. You looked in the mirror trying your hardest not to fall into the panic attack that you knew was inevitable and so you fell to your knees, trying your best to just breathe. Begging and praying to whatever god was willing to watch over you that your two soulmates had a day off where they didn't leave their beds or at least them not noticing as you rubbed your face further with the black stained towel.

"What the hell shitty hair!", Katsuki yelled as he stomped like an animal towards the door next to his and banging just as aggressively at the piece of wood. There was a little shuffling behind the door before a half asleep Kirishima opened the door to find his boyfriend angrily glaring at him with clear marker stains on his face.
"Oh dude what happened to you?" the red-head said giving his lover a sweet smile.
"Why the hell are you scribbling on your face so early in the morning?!", Katsuki continued to yell. Confusion rose on Kirishima's face as he looked at the boy, letting him enter the messy room. During the three years of living in the dorms Kirishima's room stayed mostly the same, with little things added that he and Katsuki had collected over the years, and it was as messy as you could imagine the red sharky theeth man could be.
"What do you mean? I just woke up", he calmly said, taking a glance at his bed, wondering if he had maybe accidentally slept on a marker, but his bed was clean and there was no pen in sight aside from his surprisingly neat desk.
"Well if it wasn't you I don't suppose some third soulmate happen to decide after 10 years to make themselves present by suddenly drenching their face in marker paint!"
"Or?", Kirishima added, leaving both of them speechless. There was no way right? The possibilities of having multiple soulmates was not out of the ordinary, but it just seemed so surreal, since it had been such a long time and there had been no signal of them ever reaching out to the both.
"Maybe there is a logical explanation for this...", Bakugou said deciding to let it go at least for now. The two of them would have to deal with this later since the two of them had classes. It was still hard having to deal with marker paint all over their faces, but there was nothing that good old make up wouldn't solve. And so, hand in hand they entered their classroom, and each getting in their own seat. Kirishima was the first to reach out to their friends as he sat closer to them, generally asking if there was a way that the one could get weird marks on their faces even if their soulmate didn't draw it. Sero and Denki looked at each other and shrugged, while Mina took out her phone to search it up.
"Doesn't seem like it, do you guys maybe have a third person in the link?", she suggested flipping her phone back into her pockets. Kirishima frowned and scratched his head in frustration.
"But that wouldn't make any sense, in all those 10 years since the link was formed not once would there ever be something on our skin that wasn't from the two of us..."
"Are you sure? Maybe they have a similar writing style, or maybe they didn't want to be involved in the soulmate link", Kirishima was sure that it was always the two of them writing each other by the pure fact that he knew only his partner was able to write such vulgar yet loving words, as for the person not wanting to get involved in the soulmate link Kirishima couldn't even think of it. When he had first met Bakugou it was like his whole world had turned brighter and everything that he had believed before was thrown away, leaving only happiness in its place. For someone not wanting to experience that was just beyond him, even if that person would become a third to their already amazing duo. The universe knew what was best for everyone, so why was it that someone bluntly refused to acknowledge that.
Just as Kirishima was about to reply to the pink skinned girl, he felt something on his hand moving. A simple 'hey, extra are you there?' showed up on the red haired's skin, so he turned to his partner, watching as he wrote on his skin with a pout on his face.
