   Summary

   When Philippe Gaston virtuously embarked on a quest to the monastery he was raised, nobly (to his mind, at least) sacrificing the company of Isabeau d'Anjou and Etienne de Navarre, he never imagined that an encounter with two old not-quite-friends would leave him in need of a rescue.
