Work Text:
Katsuki sighed as he slumped onto the couch. His shift hadn't been bad, just long. It wasn't even the crime fighting part of his patrol, since he broke into the top five of the Pros people felt like that made it acceptable to stop him left and right. Usually for pictures.
He knew, his manager and husband always reminding him, that public image is a very vital part of hero work. So he didn't often deny the camera happy folks if he wasn't particularly busy. That didn't mean he had to slap on a fake smile but Eijirou often pointed out that his resting bitch face was one of his nice points. Didn't make sense to him but he didn't fight him on it.
Not everyone had a smile like sunshine after all. Unfortunately, not a lot of villains were out and about in his patrol area so most of his day was spent stomping around from camera phone to camera phone. Dealing with people was more exhausting than taking down any villain.
"Long day, blasty?" Eijirou grinned slightly as he sat on the couch, in the corner of the sectional which was his spot.
"Annoying ass day." He sighed, his head lulling over to stare at the red head.
"Kinda figured, you know you're trending right?" Ei waved his cell at him, the screen showing a timeline of most of the selfies he had been a part of all day.
Katsuki reached over to swat at his phone until Eijirou hit the lock button and tossed it aside. It had been a less than stellar day, he didn't care that his mug was all over the social media sites. Well, it was good PR but he couldn't bring himself to give a fuck.
Not when Ei shifted down and threw his legs onto the couch. Then held open his arms reaching towards Katsuki, making slow grabby hands. Katsuki didn't hesitate to crawl down the couch into those hands.
They sighed as he settled on top of Ei, the day just washing away as they sank into the cushions and pillows. Though Katsuki had almost a full head of height on Eijirou the other man was just as wide and more solid. Katsuki nestled into the red head's body, broad hands resting in his head as he nuzzled into his throat.
Katsuki tucked his arms under Ei's back letting himself be cradled as callused fingers combed through this hair. He always melted instantly into his husband's body, those hands petting him soothingly. God, he loved those hands.
He snagged one as Eijirou scratched from Kats nape down his shoulder. He rerouted it to hold it in front of his face, lacing his own rough fingers with the shorter ones. Eijiro's love language had always been touch and Katsuki was proud that he was one of the only ones who got these touches now.
Katsuki's eyes traced every inch of the hand in his hold. The skin was tan, nails cut short and neat. Hands that were so gentle one moment but could rip through steel the next.
Unwavering, unbreakable hands that had the most beautiful scars decorating them. He knew Eijirou was a bit insecure about them but he adored them. The pink-white lines that ran from his fingertips over his knuckles across the backs of his hands to his wrists all the way down his forearms.
Years of overusing his quirk left the fracture like markings down his tan skin. When he hardened they were like valleys in the stone but they took every impact and just got stronger.
Katsuki pulled his hand forward, lips pressing against the knuckles. Trailing kisses along the line of the scars stopping at the curve of his wrist. He lifted his head and the fingers that had been combing through his hair moved to cup his cheek.
Almost the whole side of his face could rest in one meaty palm. Eijirou's smile was so soft as he whispered, "Feeling better, Katsu?"
Katsuki only hummed as he turned to kiss the warm skin lovingly holding his face. He nipped the fleshy area behind Ei's thumb, enjoying how the chest under him vibrated with a slight chuckle.
The palm on his face stayed put as he stretched his neck up to kiss upturned lips. His eyes nearly drooping from the day and the warmth, his voice barely a rumble, "Love you, Ei."
He was already nuzzling back into his husband's chest, comforting hands holding him tight as he felt more than heard Eijirou return the affection.
