Summary
The return to Hogwarts a year after the final battle against the Dark Lord and his followers is fraught with threats of a secret weapon that will fulfill the Dark Lord's notions of a pureblood society. Penelope Montgomery finds herself caught in the midst of another battle as a violent and cruel crusade is taken up by students seeking revenge against those believed to have sided with the Dark Lord.
As Death Eaters are rampantly being caught and tossed into Azkaban, rumors spread about young followers of the Dark Lord seeking shelter at Hogwarts, fueling the fear and anger of many students. No one knows who to trust, especially when talk begins to spread about a Dark Revival of witches and wizards who want to gain retribution for their Dark Lord. A revival in which many will not survive.
