Summary
All ideas of violence fled Dream’s mind as he stared up at the shadow from his sprawled position on the marble floor. The darkness must have known exactly what Dream’s thoughts gravitated to because he smiled, sweet and sharp as the scent of slowly decaying fruit.
“You’re a monster”, Dream spat.
"No," his smile was predatory. His next words were quiet, but they rang crystal clear in the great hall.
"I’m your worst Nightmare. "
