Summary
“Are you ready yet?" Jiang Cheng barks, glaring down at Wei Ying. Wei Ying can’t think of what he’s done to deserve this, so he decides that this is probably Jiang Cheng’s stressed-glare rather than his ‘I’m going to break Wei Wuxian’s legs’ glare. Although, it’s hard to tell. "We’re leaving in 5 minutes, with or without you."
“It’d be hard to have a wedding without one of the grooms,” Wei Ying points out.
“The way mom is going on right now, I don’t think people would even notice,” Jiang Cheng says darkly. “The guests are probably convinced this is her party, at this point.”
Wei Ying thinks about the oversized floral arrangements in purple and pink, the heavy drapery and uplighting, the overall over-doneness of the whole event, and thinks that the guests would probably be right to think so.
“Lan Wangji would notice,” Jiang Yanli says delicately, rising from the bed and brushing lint from Wei Ying’s shoulders.
His stomach is back in knots. “Let’s go,” he says to his siblings, “before my groom gets cold feet.”(Takes place after "A String to be Plucked". Featuring a much healthier (but still wrestling some anxiety gremlins) Wei Ying, and LWJ just being being horny and teasing brat-husband.)
