Summary
The flea-infested buildings, the cockroaches, the muck-sodden streets and the heavy air of Night City had been left behind. Gone were the restless nights when Goro slept with one eye open, ready to fill his hands with the weight of his gun and paint them in Arasaka blood. The taste of synthetic meats and questionable ingredients had almost been washed off his tongue. And how wonderful it was to hear again his native language spoken at every corner.
All the pain of Night City was washed away by the blessing of being sent to Takamatsu, in the peaceful haven that was Shikoku.
