Summary
Wèi Wúxiàn nearly dies at Nightless City from a mortal wound after it is discovered that he has no golden core. When the dust settles, Jiāng Chéng insists that they return to Bàoshān Sànrén. Wèi Wúxiàn refuses, stating that they had lied to her, and she would refuse to help them. Jiāng Chéng can't live with the knowledge that he took this chance away from his brother, and returns to the mountain range in search of the immortal.
