If you had heard the rumors of Principal Nezu, the... principal of U.A., living and sleeping in his office, you'd probably think they were just spitballing you.
But just this once, the super smart cryptid decided to do just that: he laid on his desk, acting like he was fast asleep, waiting for the perfect moment to verify his curiosity.
A moment that came pretty soon.
A pitch black entity slipped through the keyhole, morphing into a more humanoid state as it opened a pair of bright, glowing green eyes, with which it stared at the asleep creature.
Then it opened a wide smile, reaching towards him...
And then he woke up and raised his head. "Howdy!"
The entity flew back, shrieking as she hit a wall and her form became more clear: that of a teenage girl with messy green hair and a baggy long-sleeved sweater with black pants and shoes.
"You know, being a nightmare spirit and all, I prefer to give scares, rather than get scared!"
"Well then, apologies if I startled you, but I simply couldn't sleep!"
"Oh really? Why's that?" the greenette folded her arms and leaned closer. "Were you so terrified of the Marra coming to get you that you couldn't get a shut eye?"
"Partially: I actually wanted to see a Marra with my very own eyes," Nezu reached for his back. "That, and give you a little offer."
Nezu took out an invitation to join U.A., which the girl looked at with confusion. "What's this?"
"An invitation to join U.A., of course!" Nezu clasped his paws together. "Going from the rumors I heard about your Quirk, it could be a pretty good thing to have on the side of heroism. Besides, I find it'd be a very interesting Quirk to observe and help you develop."
The greenette rolled her eyes and returned the invitation. "Sorry, but I'm not interested in becoming another so called "Hero." I'm happy right where I am!"
"As a Vigilante, who'll be arrested as soon as the police find out about it?"
The greenette's smug posture loosened.
"You don't need to join U.A., but joining a Hero school and becoming a Hero could help you find ways to use your Quirk legally."
The greenette took a deep breath and groaned, facing the cryptid as she asked:
"You'll keep my vigilantism a secret?"
"My lips are sealed."
The greenette rolled her eyes and extended her hand towards Nezu, who shook it.
"Glad we could come to an agreement! I assure you, you'll love it here at U.A.! As long as you pass the entrance exam, that is."
The greenette groaned, realizing this was gonna be a lot more tiresome than she expected.
Suimin Midoriya! Quirk: Marra! Not only can she morph into a black smoke with green glowing eyes, but she can also invade someone's dreams, where's she's a nigh-unstoppable nightmare weaver!
