A new day has started in the manor. Today the new hunter will come. The hunters are pretty excited about the news since there aren't many of them, even if that will mean being chosen to hunt less since the new hunter will need to get used to his job.
"What do you think the new guy will be?"
Leo questioned to the rest of the hunters.
"I hope he won't be like Wu chang here. He kinda got the spotlight after he came"
Hastur replied kinda annoyed by the fact of him not being able to do a match after Wu chang arrival.
"You know we can't do anything about it Hastur. In fact we wish we could have a break time to time, survivors are already picking up on our strategy"
(he talks in first person plural because of the black form in his umbrella) Wu chang did sound exhausted after the last match.
"I hope they are a female we need more female touch in here"
Michiko said while she entered into the room
"you are kinda right this place is a mess because of Bane and Joker always fighting"
Jack replied are he sat down close to Leo.
Several minutes have passed, and the hunters are getting impatient. To get the frustration out they decide to practice with some bots survivors untill they will hear the announcement of the hunter arrival.
After what seemed like an entire day the announcement was finally given and after some cleaning of the hunter side and maps the new hunter came into the room. He was a short guy, probably the shortest of all the hunters, his looks were all giving french man vibes with his elegance and hairs tight by a bow giving him a low pony tail. His eyes were a light blue without a pupil (don't judge me on the description I'm a simp ok). He truly was an elegant man and most hunters seemed to like him at first impact.
"Here I present you the new hunter Joseph Desaulnier. Get along well"
The speaker announced giving Joseph a little smik on his face.
"So you are the new hunter here. My name is Leo, I'm one of the first hunters that came to the manor and I'll be the one that shows you around."
Leo approached Joseph giving the others an idea of his height.
"Merci for offering to show me around monsieur"
Joseph smiled and bowed down to Leo
"can't wait to meet you all too. And see what you are all capable of"
he said looking at the other hunters, then looked back at Leo who showed him the way.

"And here are the maps. For the first 7 days you'll be playing against bots to get used to your role and understand the rules of the matches"
Leo explained while showing Joseph a wall where images of some places were shown.
"What exactly are bots used to, can't we just already go against survivor immediately?"
Joseph asked wondering why he cannot go to action immediately
"every hunter was eager to play with the real survivors immediately. But trust me that this practice it's more than needed"
Joseph looked at leo kinda annoyed that he can't see the real survivors immediately, he wanted to show off his looks a bit.
Leo then lead Joseph to a room full of still "people", it was kinda terrific to see them not moving a muscle and just starring at the void...but that was what Joseph likes to see.
"This are the bots. They were created to be exact copies of the survivors in both aspect and abilities."
Leo said leaving some room for the small hunter to pass through and take a better look. There were many of them, most were copies of each other, and noticing that Joseph turned to look at Leo with a questioning look
"oh right, there are mostly copies of one survivor because some hunters go a little bit too hard on them and break them, so the copies are made to have a substitute in case one broke."
Leo explained to the small hunter 'Well that explains everything' Joseph thought as he went to inspect every survivor bot that was in the room, among them one caught his attention. It had a hood covering all it's body and a blindfold on, it also had an owl on his right shoulder, it looked like the survivor that was like this was the mysterious type, and Joseph was pretty intrigued by this.
Leo noticed that Joseph was standing and starring at one survivor for a long time so he decided to check on him, he entered the room and found him starring at the survivor with the blindfold on
"He is the Seer. His ability is to use his owl to protect himself and others. Most of the hunters find him very annoying to deal with"
Leo said giving Joseph a little grin.
"What is his name?"
Joseph questioned
"I don't know exactly, but i think it was Eli Clark or something."
Leo replied being kinda confused. No hunter was interested in the name of a survivor, all they cared about was their abilities and career.
"So his name is Eli Clark huh. The first match we will have together will be very very interesting."

"Guys come on match today, let's try our best!"
Emma shouted at the survivors at the table, she is a really active girl on her own but the thought of facing the new hunter made her definitely more excited than usual.
"Come on Emma sit down we understand your excitement over meeting the new hunter, but you still gotta remember that he is our enemy"
Naib said sounding kinda annoyed
"Where is Eli? Wasn't he supposed to be in the match with us?"
Helena said looking around herself even if she cannot actually see anything
"He said he would come in late because brooke needed to get a little bit more rest"
Emma said with her usual smile on her face
"Well he better move! The match is about to start and i don't want to get a bot at his place."
Naib said standing up from the chair and doing some stretching to get himself ready
"You seem pretty irritated Naib what's wrong?"
Helena questioned even if it was pretty obvious why he was irritated.
"It's the first time we face this hunter and i would prefer not to lose because someone gets at the matching table too late and we get a bot."
Naib said trying his best to be calm down, in the end he just wants every survivor to get out. His mood is mostly been built like this during his mercenary job, but in the end he just wants everyone to be safe.
"Hey guys, sorry if I'm late Brooke truly didn't want to come this match."
Eli said as he walked into the room where the other three survivors were
"took you long enough"
Naib said looking at the seer then sitting down at his chair
"isn't there another reason outside Brooke?"
Helena might be blind but she had some sort of extra sense when it came to people having something on their mind
"You truly are something Helena."
Eli walked towards his chair
"You see i feel like something is going to happen this match"
Eli said after he sat down on the chair and that got everyone's attention
"What exactly?"
Naib questioned
"Unfortunately i cannot answer this question since It's part of my deal to not reveal the future to the others. I can only give warnings. But even if I would have said it there is no way of changing the future"
As Eli finished talking the match started.

The map was Lakeside village.
As Eli looked around he saw the outline of the hunter close to the shack, he also noticed some cameras spread around the place, he wondered what they would be used for.
Then as he started deciphering a Cipher a sort of blink occurred and a sound of a camera shoting a photo was heard. From the cameras around now there was a sort of screen that showed a picture? Eli wasn't sure. But all he knew is that as soon as he touched it his hand disappeared, like if that was some sort of portal.
Eli backed away a bit from the camera and the reflection it was giving. It somehow was giving him all sort of bad vibes, kinda like if that was a cursed object, he wasn't sure, but all he knew for sure is that good things aren't happening there for sure.
So he decided to go to another cipher that wasn't close to a camera and decode that one instead.
As soon as he started decoding the new cipher a bell was heard. That means the hunter got one presence, which leads to the hunter unlocking his first ability. But nobody was injured.
Eli was confused by this and had a really bad feeling, but not long after he saw the notification of someone getting chaired, but he couldn't see where exactly. Then another camera sound was heard and the cameras around the map where now facing downwards with the reflection/portal wasn't visible anymore, but most importantly is that Emma was downed.
Eli couldn't believe what just happened. Emma wasn't chased but she was downed anyways, this hunter is really strong. Not long after Emma got back up thanks to Helena finding her and healing her up, unfortunately to Eli thought the cipher apparently also got affected and it got less progress than he already did.

Some minutes have passed. The ciphers left are only 2 thanks to Helena being a fast decoder, so time that the cameras got down she already almost finished a cipher. In all of this the hunter was hardly seen, it was kind of a relief for the survivors but also not since they didn't know if he could appear out of thin air and terrorschock them.
Soon there was just one cipher left.
"This match has been surprisingly easy"
Naib said with a little smug on his face
"True but we cannot let our guard go down now."
Eli said still having that bad feeling.
"Now everyone go to the gate I'll think about priming the cipher"
Said that Emma, Naib and Helena went to the front gate, and when they heard the notification form Eli that the cipher was primed, they looked around to see if there was any trace of the hunter and then responded by saying to focus on decoding.
And like that the last cipher was popped and the front gate was getting open fairly quickly.
Untill the hunter Joseph showed up close to Eli.
Eli was getting ready to kite to buy time for the others to escape, but the hunter didn't seem to want to hit him. All he was doing was just standing put and staring at him.
As Eli decided to get closer to him the others notified him by letting him know that the gate was open and then left.
"You are Eli Clark huh?"
Joseph questioned looking at the survivor with a smile
"Yes I'm Eli Clark. Where you looking for me this entire match?"
Eli questioned since the short hunter was never seen during the match by anyone.
"Well that can be both true and not true."
Joseph replied getting closer to the much shorted survivor.
"You see Mr Eli Clark, you seem to be kinda of an interesting character. I would really love to have a picture of you to keep for myself"
Joseph took Eli's face with his right hand making him look at his face. When he is in a match his looks change. His cheerful blue and yellow coat and practically all his body become all in white and black with some of his face being cracked mostly on his left eye.
Eli didn't look or even felt scared. All he could feel were Joseph's intentions and he surely wasn't going to change what was going to happen.
"Whatever you want to do with me feel free to do so. There is no way i can stop it from happing either way"
With that Joseph brought Eli's face close to his and kissed him on the lips. He got no reaction from the survivor, he didn't even get a question or something from him when the parted away from it. He just blushed and took what the hunter gave him, like he was forced to stay.
Joseph didn't mind it at all. So he just took the survivor hand and lead him to a near by camera. Then positioned him in front of it.
"Like this your beautiful and mysterious looks will never go away, my beloved seer. And your soul will be forever with me so not even time can separate us"
Joseph said as he then took a picture.

"guys were is Eli?"
"I don't know he was supposed to get out of the map hours ago"
"Should we call the head of the manor?"
"No, it will be useless. He will just say the same thing that he said last time which is not to worry since nobody can get out of the manor"
"I guess we will just have to wait then and hope he is ok"
"I'm sure he is, he has brooke on his side."
