Rape, incest, and underage sex: exactly what the Archive was created to host. And I mean that literally. This was one of the fics specifically affected by Strikethrough on LiveJournal in 2007 I'm not going to try to sort out the fannish meta of the time, and the timelines, because I was absolutely on the sidelines for all of it. I don't know the discussions that happened pornish_pixies (the fic community) because I wasn't there.
But certainly, absolutely,and without a doubt: this fic is able to exist online, in public, the way it is, because the Archive is owned, maintained, and supported by fans. There is a lot that could change on the Archive, and an unimaginable shift the fundamental way humans interface with the world via the internet since 2008. But this story is fuckin here, and the only way it's going anywhere is if the author decides it should.
(shut up about data scraping. I can't handle thinking about data scraping, I'm already insanely fansplaining and tripping over my own feelings about censorship in a tiny, tiny corner of My archive.)
BUT THE FIC:
it's phenomenal. check out this coerced underaged incest told from the POV of the least canny person in the whole situation, him and his brother both hurt badly in equally terrifying and compelling ways.
I remember this from the wee hours of my life 20 years ago. It deserves it.
