Summary
His reputation once labelled him as a great wizard, who was both revered and hated by all. This idea of the 'Great Philosopher Murr' has since been scorned by the cruelty of his beloved moon, and now manifests itself as a demon that comes to haunt him when he falls asleep at night, until it stirs him awake. He's lucky his good friend Shylock just happens to be awake, as well.
