Chapter Text
Just one day. Just one normal day without something happening. That’s all Aizawa asks for, but does he get that? No. No he does not. He intended to go over internships with his students today. Instead, he gets transported to some dark room. When the lights finally turn on, Aizawa looks around the strange room he was dropped into and sees Class 1A, some of the staff, and a Gen Ed student all trying to figure out what happened and how they got here.
“Good you’re all here!” Aizawa quickly turned to the voice. It belonged to an ethereal figure hovering above all of them. She has long blonde hair going well past her shoulders. Though that is not what draws Aizawa’s attention. No, his focus went directly to her face. The being seemed to be missing her eyes.
“Who the hell are you?” Aizawa went to activate his quirk on her however nothing happened. “Why can’t I use my quirk?”
“Ah, I assumed we’d run into this problem. I disabled your quirks for the duration of your stay in my theatre. As for your initial question, I am the Goddess of Prophecy, Orakuru.”
The audience went quiet as they all tried to process this information. Though as quickly as the silence came, it was gone again as everyone burst out with questions all at once.
“Alright everyone quiet down. There’s no sense in talking over one another. I will answer some of your questions, but I will not guarantee you will like the answers.” Kaminari raised his hand. “Yes, Denki?”
“Umm… Why don’t you have eyes?”
“Kaminari, that is very disrespectful. You should not just go around commenting on things like that!” Iida practically yelled. Aizawa rolled his eyes.
To Aizawa’s surprise, and everyone else's, Orakuru laughed and waved her hand dismissively at Iida. “It’s fine Iida, truly. I do not take offence to those types of comments. Though to be fair, I would refrain from asking that to others. And I do actually have eyes, they just aren’t on my face.” She lifted up her hands to show two eyes on her palms. Mineta raised his hand and the Goddess sighed before gesturing for him to ask his question.
“Can you use your eyes to look in your vag-” Before Mineta could finish, he disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
“Mineta has been sent back to your universe. I will not tolerate such behavior in my theatre. Not that I really wanted him here in the first place.” All of the girls from Class 1A were looking up at Orakuru as though they were going to start a religion based upon her (which they probably would as soon as they get back to the dorms).
“What exactly do you need us to do, Miss Orakuru?” Nedzu spoke from where he had been sitting on the floor, sipping on tea (where did he even get that from).
“Thank you for asking, Nedzu! I brought you all here to react to another universe!” She clasped her hands in front of her chest in excitement and smiled widely. “Before you ask any more questions, not all of what I am about to show you occurs in your universe but some does. I am showing you this so you can be better prepared for your future whatever may come.”
“If I may,” Momo says, “if you want us to be prepared for our future why show us another universe? Why not show us our universe?”
“This is a good question, Momo. I’m afraid I can’t directly show you your future because it would throw off the timeline. This is as close as I can get to showing you your future without violating the laws of time and space.” Some of the students muttered to each other, nervous for what their futures hold.
Orakuru turns to a more serious tone, her smile falling from her lips as she speaks. “I will warn you in advance, some parts of this universe get very, how should I say this? Fucked up? It is not pleasant by any means, though there are many lighthearted moments. Another thing: many secrets will come out.” She looked specifically at Midoriya and All Might before continuing. “If at any point, five or more people are looking away from the screen it will automatically pause. It will only resume after everyone has returned their attention.”
On that note, she claps her hands twice and they are all seated in theatre chairs. A large movie screen appeared on the wall behind her. She clapped her hands twice more and disappeared from the room. Aizawa turned to Hizashi who was seated next to him and was about to speak when the screen lit up, drawing everyone’s attention.
