Chapter Text
You woke up in a place you didn't recognise, you didn't remember anything apart from your name, you didn't even know if there was anything else to remember. The sun was glaring down on my face and the faint sounds of animals could be heard from every direction. As you sat up you noticed a boy next to you; he had dark ginger hair, he was still sleeping.
The more you looked around, the more scared you became. The both of you were surrounded by tall black walls and a burning van. As the panic began to settle in, you started to shake the boy awake so that you could at least have some company to help ease your nerves. When he awoke he seemed just as confused as you were, and showed similar reactions when looking around the enclosed space.
"Where are we? Who are you?", the boy was more talkative than you had expected which took me off guard.
"I don't know...but I'm Y/N", you spoke quietly, but you didn't want to seem rude and ignore him. After a few minutes, both of you got up and gave proper introductions, his name was Fundy. As both of you didn't know where you were, you two decided to play around whilst avoiding the fire and anything that could of hurt you. It wasn't long before the two of you were playing tag and laughing your heads off like you had known each other for years.
Out of nowhere, three men came running inside of the walls, two of them shouting and one following along but not shouting as much as the others. You and Fundy huddled together in fear as two louder ones got closer to the tree you were hiding under.
"LOOK...INTRUDERS....LETS KILL THEM!!!", the loudest blond one came charging towards us, by this point you were crying and Fundy was screaming.
"NO!!! TOMMY DON'T HURT THEM! They're scared of you", the smaller and the quietest of the three stopped the madman, Tommy, from attacking and turned to the two of you and gave a reassuring smile to try and calm you down. "Hi there, I'm Tubbo, what are your names?". He gave a beaming grin, and Fundy had calmed down enough to smile back.
"I'm Fundy, this is Y/N. Why are we here?", you were glad Fundy spoke for the both of you. Tubbo turned to face you, and you gave a smile to let him know that you were okay.
"I don't know why your here either, did someone leave you here?", this time you answered but just by shaking your head. "Ok, I'm going back to talk to my friend, the one with brown hair is Wilbur, he's in charge of this area...he'll know what to do", Tubbo nodded and went back to the other two, who were much quieter and hung back close to the wall. Tubbo started to talk to Wilbur, he didn't look too happy and from what you could see, he was arguing with whatever Tubbo was saying.
"Alright...this is my country, L'Manburg, and because you just appeared here...I guess we have our first official citizen!", but he wasn't talking to you, only to Fundy. "This is a country made up only of men...hence the name. So we have a problem with you...", Wilbur glared at you, he looked nice but then again it sounded like he was currently trying to get rid of you. You held tightly onto Fundy as if trying to show Wilbur that you two were not to be separated, you trusted Fundy and felt safe when he reassuringly held your hand.
"Can't she stay with me? I promise she won't hurt anyone!", Fundy tried to stick up for you, but Wilbur didn't look convinced.
"As much as I believe you, having a woman on this side of the walls defeats the purpose of the country", Wilbur looked less scary now, calm even, "No one can know that you were here, got it?".
"At least let her stay for the night, even we would barely be able to spend the night alone out there", Tubbo was still trying to reason with Wilbur but it wasn't preventing the inevitable. Wilbur rolled his eyes and took Fundy over to Tommy who was mocking Tubbo. You were glad to have someone on your side.

The morning came around, you were on Tubbo's bed and he was up trying to gather things into a small satchel. You closed your eyes hoping that the longer you slept, the longer you could stay. Then Tommy burst through the doors, "The president wants you out, its the morning and he doesn't want to be kept waiting". Tubbo tried to put up one last fight for you before Tommy pushed him out of the way to get to you.
"I'll go, I'll go. But I want Tubbo and Fundy to walk me out", they had been the nicest to you, so you wanted to spend as mush time as possible with them. They each held one of your hands as they walked you to the gate, Fundy pulled you into a bear hug and for the first time since you had met him, he had nothing to say. Tubbo was silent, he handed you the satchel. You had only known these two for about a day but they meant the world to you.
"Thank you for everything you've done, I know we have only known each other for a short while but we will meet again in better circumstances", Tubbo chuckled at you trying to lighten the mood when there were tears streaming down your face. You were still scared of what was in the walls let alone what was outside of them.
