Summary
Bakugo let himself taste a little of the hard-won peace he so often struggled to accept.
And if Bakugo could oblige the belief that he was worthy, then perhaps Kirishima could also face all of the things he told himself he'd never be ready for.
When it came to falling in love with his best friend, Kirishima probably could've done with two pieces of advice: Be nice until it's time to not be nice. And you can't be everything you want to be before your time. But wisdom often comes when it can no longer do any good, so it's Bakugo who winds up beating him to the punch.
(Kirishima is hit with a classic case of 'when you know, you know' but admitting it is a different story.)
