Summary
A few years after the end of the show, Lan Xichen comes out of seclusion, reclaiming his duties and place as the Lan Sect Leader. Lan Wangji takes the opportunity to go on a break from his Chief Cultivator duties and go night-hunting together with Wei Wuxian, Lan Xichen, and a bunch of juniors. Things go terribly wrong and Lan Wangji gets badly injured. They are a long way from help, Lan Wangji is dying, and the only thing that could keep him alive until help arrives would be very generous donations of spiritual energy by way of sex.
Wei Wuxian's new core is not strong enough for that yet. The juniors are out of the question. It would have to be someone who is a match for Lan Wangji's own core, so the only option they have is his brother.
This is beyond Lan Xichen's worst nightmares.
