One thing that really irks you about Beelzebub was that people never saw past the eating. Well, it didn’t irk you about him, specifically, just about people viewing him. Yeah, he eats a lot, way more than anyone ever should eat, but it’s not like he can’t afford it or like he doesn’t need it. He works out, a lot, probably more than anyone else ever will in their entire life and he is a beast at the gym. You tried his workout routine once and never again. You didn’t feel any part of your body for the next three weeks and he just kept on going. Granted, he’s probably been doing that routine for centuries, but it didn’t look that hard, which is mainly why you wanted to try it too. No wonder you shouldn’t mess with demons; not when they workout like that.
People also seem to forget that Beelzebub does have hobbies that don't include food. He doesn’t mind playing games with Leviathan or taking a walk with Belphegor in the middle of the night. He actually loved to play card games with Mammon, too, and they do it pretty much every night. Above all of this, though, he loves to play Fangol. This is also probably the main reason he has such a great physique. You think American Football is hard? Try Fangol. It’s American Football on steroids with a hint of Karen-craziness. Yeah, it’s exactly that.
Of course, once Beelzebub had the guts to ask you out, you were also immediately asked to be part of any and all games, “Will you come to my game tomorrow?” He still asked, everytime, just in case you ever did not want to go. He would never hold it against you if you said no and that was one of the main reasons you always said yes. It was so cute to see how excited he got when he spotted you in the stands and how excited you looked too, sometimes with his brothers and sometimes alone, but always with a huge grin on your face, cheering him on. He considers himself lucky to have you and he always makes sure you know that.
Seeing you at the game today was definitely an energy boost. “Go Beel!!” He could recognize that voice anywhere and his eyes immediately found yours as he ran past, giving a quick wave before he had his mind back in the game. He wished he could just prop you up on his shoulders and run with you, but of course some idiot made that against the rules. Still, you could tell that that was all he needed to really give it his all. He was a beast on the field, working together so nicely with his team and it was always fun to watch how he just seemed to know exactly what one of his teammates needed.
You watched him win, taking over the field in sweet victory as he ran up to the stands. “You did it!!!” Your voice made him smile up at you proudly, “I couldn’t have won without your constant encouragement!” You smiled, leaning over the railing, “come get your prize.” A look of confusion crossed his features but you only laughed, taking his sweaty face in your hands as you kissed him. He seemed to relax into you, kissing you back happily and whining when you pulled away. “Wait… I deserve more.” Yeah. Of course he did. And if you could, you would spend hours just standing here kissing him, because he’s absolutely right, he deserves all of it. “Yes. But go change out of your uniform and then come back so I can properly thank you~” A shimmer of something else shone in his eyes at your words, “Are you saying… I will get a double win tonight?”
A shrug crossed your shoulders, your gaze moving upwards and the smile never faltering on your lips, “maybe. You’ll have to come back and find out.” But he didn’t have time for that. Instead, he lifted you over the railing and threw you over his shoulder. “Nonsense. It’s bad luck to keep the winner waiting, didn’t you know?”
