“You know, if you really want to be a hero that badly, there actually might be another way… Just pray that you’ll be born with a Quirk in your next life, and take a swan-dive off the roof of the building!” This is an event that Katsuki has regretted since the day he said it, although it took him a long time to admit it. He and Izuku were in a good place. A great place actually. Best friends, running a Hero agency together like they used to talk about when they were kids, back before Quirks and Quirklessness interfered.
It's been years since they became Pro-Heroes and their friend groups merged together with their healed friendship. For once they all miraculously have the day off at the same time, so they all go out together. Izuku and Katsuki had an unspoken promise to never speak of what Katsuki had told him that day in middle school with anybody but each other. As luck would have it though, when the squad gets together, things don't ever go as planned.
