Eiji slowly opened his eyes his vision was blurred and he felt a warmth around him, he looked over and there was Ash lying so peacefully Eiji lifted his hand slightly to play with Ash´s hair a little, he loved the way it looked in the morning sun. Ash had his arms wrapped around Eiji and his head was placed on Eiji´s chest this was unusual for them, Ash always liked them to fall asleep in a reversed position, Ash always wanted to be the protector in every possible way, but after last night Ash deserved to be the one who feels safe. Eiji was still completely entranced with the beauty of Ash´s hair when Ash woke up and broke the gaze Eiji had held
¨Morning¨ Ash yawned sleepily
¨It´s nearly noon, the morning was hours ago¨
¨Yeah well you didn´t have to stay, go be an old granny and crochet or whatever you do in the ungodly morning hours¨
¨First off 6 am is an incredibly productive time, secondly of course I wouldn´t leave... "
ẗhe bickering had turned into an awkward silence
¨I´m sorry for putting that on you... I was just...¨ Ash couldn´t meet Eiji´s eyes he looked away, masking it by pretending to be getting out of bed.
Eiji was quick to respond
¨Ash! It´s okay, I´m glad you talked to me... I´m really glad."It´s a new day we can eat and shower and just relax, okay¨ Eiji had the warmest smile on his face it still made Ash turn bright red even after all this time.
With that, Eiji got up out of bed and stretched ¨Hey before I make us breakfast I´m gonna shower okay¨
Ash fell back on the bed still in a bit of a relaxed haze, that´s when it hit him, he needed a shower too, after last night, he´s covered in it-
¨EIJI!!¨
Eiji popped his head through the bathroom door with just a towel wrapped around his waist
¨Yeah? What´s wrong?¨
¨I also need to shower... after last night you know...¨
Eiji just smiled, ¨if you want to be alone I´ll leave and go, cook, wait for you-¨
¨I um.. I don´t wa-want to be alone..¨ Ash trailed off
Eiji walked over and held Ash´s hand, he led him to the bathroom their eyes met and Ash finally returned Eiji´s warm smile.
Eij started to run the water and play with the temperature while Ash took his shirt and pants off, this felt weird, to the both of them. They hadn´t seen each other like this much, but this moment just felt right. Eiji got in the bath and turned the shower on, he put his head under and shook his head laughing as he pulled it out from the water. Suddenly Ash felt less tense, his shoulders felt less tense and he remembered this was just Eiji, not only was he safe but was he loved. Ash stepped into the shower as well, Eiji noticed Ash looking a little awkward so he grabbed the shampoo bottle and simply said
¨turn around¨
¨What? Want a good view of my ass?¨
¨Oh yeah that´s definitely why Mr.Unresistable¨
Eiji poured some shampoo into his hands and began rubbing it into Ash´s head, he explored
Ash´s hair running his fingers through them making Ash let out a groan
¨Enjoying ourselves a little too much?¨
¨Shut up, it feels nice okay¨
Eiji just laughed it off, he then grabbed a bar of soap
¨Ash is it okay if I um... wash you?¨
¨Weird way of asking but sure¨
Eiji let out a big sigh and started to rub the soap along Ash´s shoulders. This was the first time he´d really looked at Ash´s body, it told a story, scars, blood, wounds healed and healing he was covered in them. Eiji brought the soap across Ash´s chest and noticed a patch of blood, he tried to subtly scrub it off but apparently, he was rubbing too hard because Ash noticed and asked playfully ¨What ya doing down there¨
¨Um... there´s blood...¨
The look on Ash´s face changed, back to some twist between anger and pain, his usual look. ¨Hey, look it´s okay. I´m scrubbing it off no biggie happy to help¨
Eiji finally got to Ash´s dick, wee-wee, pee-pee he didn´t know what to call it and felt stupid for overthinking it... He put the soap away and just cupped Ash´s cheeks, ¨I love you¨
Ash smiled ¨I love you too¨ Ash leaned in for a kiss, it was long and passionate tounges dancing both boys were breathing heavily and at one point ended up kissing under the shower head. Eiji finally broke away only to be met with a whining Ash.
¨Don´t be such a baby¨
the tub was now pretty full, so Ash sat down, and Eiji followed him down. They were both tangled with each other.
Hours passed. Ash and Eiji had been busy kissing and cuddling, talking, bickering you name it. That was until they heard a pounding on the door, it was Max and Shorter, Ash said they could meet up to talk strategy against Yut Lung. Eiji had somehow fallen asleep in Ash´s arms covered in bubbles. Ash decided not to wake Eiji he looked so peaceful, plus it´s not like Shorter and Max would look in here... the bathroom of all places... that´s when he heard it... the door open he saw Max´s light brown hair and met Max´s eyes, Ash wanted to yell at him to get out but then he remembered Eiji was asleep, thankfully they were covered in bubbles so sensitive areas weren´t showing... but still having your defacto dad walk in on you and you´re husband showering together is... awkward.
Max stammered, walking out fast
Then, of course, the ever-curious Shorter poked his head through and burst out laughing but quickly stopped when he saw Eiji asleep. Ash thought Shorter would laugh at him but instead Shorter just smiled, ¨I´m happy for you man, you got a good one¨
Ash quickly shrugged the strange kindness off and shooed them both away.
Finally, everyone was gone and Ash just looked down at Eiji,
he thought of what Eiji saved him from. God he loved him, Ash placed a soft kiss on Eiji´s head. ¨I love you sweetheart¨ Ash closed his eyes ignoring how wrinkly they would get. He just wanted to be in this moment with Eij, completely bare, exposed and so deeply in love.
