Of course, Furuya doesn’t actually have another option. He’s running out of runway fast with Rum and Gin; he needs to do something to show that he’s responding to the constant pressure to learn more about Edogawa Conan. Moving into the Kudou mansion is probably the only thing he could do that might assuage them. For a while.
