Summary
Thomas and Newt live across the street from each other and since the first eye contact, they check up on each other every night. One night, Newt decides to hop over and a friendship develops. Growing closer and closer, things aren't alway going that smoothly.

This time it was Thomas who initiated the wave, sending him a lopsided smile. He received a grin and a wave back.
Then the blonde pointed at him and send him a thumbs up, face questioning and god he missed people checking up on him. He send back a tired smile, but still a thumbs up, followed by a question look and a pointed finger at the blond. He wanted to know everything about him to be honest, but how his day had been would be a good start.
The blond returned with his own tired smile and thumbs up and plopped down in one of his chairs, starting his late night reading.
