“At last.”, Ryeowook sighs in relief as he finally finished the subtitles for his vlog update. He was certain that the video was edited the way he wanted to but Ryeowook being Ryeowook, he still checked on it one last time before scheduling it for upload.
"Ahh, Yesungie Hyung really looks cute on this part.", As usual, Yesung appeared again in this episode. He chuckles as he rewatches the dorkiness of his best friend on the clips he used. After reviewing his vlog, he finally kept his laptop away and checked the time. He still got extra time before his friend arrives.
Yesung planned to hang out at his place for the day. Having only limited free time from work, the older friend made sure they still got to spend BFF time together and they came up with the plan of having a staycation at Ryeowook’s flat.
While waiting for Yesung, Ryeowook walks to the kitchen to prepare food for them. He knew Yesung is still doing his intermittent diet and he is greatly concerned about how his friend's extreme diet routine affects his mood. For today, he isn't letting Yesung skip any meal, not on his watch.
As he busies himself in the kitchen, he heard the doorbell ring, signifying the arrival of his friend. He no longer bothers to open the door as Yesung already knew the passcode to his flat.
"I'm making beef stew,", he shouted as he heard the door lock click, indirectly telling Yesung that he's in the kitchen. "You better not use your I'm-on-a-diet card on me.", he reminds him.
"I'm always on cheat day when I'm with you.", the other answers back as he enters the kitchen to greet him. "Hey, Ryeonggu.", he smiles as he sees Ryeowook preparing two sets of rice and stew for the both of them.
"Better cheat on your diet than on me, Hyung.", Ryeowook jokes to which Yesung chuckled. "Help me set the table, let's have lunch first.", he asks his Hyung and the other obediently follows.
While eating, Yesung asks what Ryeowook has been up to. He rarely sees the boy wake up early unless they have morning schedules.
"You're early today. You even got time to cook for me.", he pointed out to Ryewook.
"Ahm, I was finishing my youtube vlog.", Ryeowook said before taking a spoonful of rice.
"Did you include me?", the older tilts his head, wondering if he is still consistent on being Ryeowook’s vlog guest.
"Do I have to?", he innocently looks at him, obviously teasing the other. "If you liked appearing on vlogs, why don't you open your account then?".
"Yah! You shoot a lot when I'm around. Stop messing with me. I know I'm still your favorite guest.", Yesung ruffles his friend's hair. "Also, I got other apps to be busy with. I don't like youtube, it takes too much time to make a video like yours.".
"What were you up to lately, then?", Ryeowook scrunched his nose not knowing which apps he was talking about.
"TikTok is cute... And it takes less effort.", he grabs his phone to show the younger his newly made account.
"You already made videos!", Ryeowook whines as he sees that Yesung already got some uploads. "I'm not in it! That's unfair, Yesungie!", he pouts.
"That's why I'm here. Let's remake those best friend challenges I saw.", Yesung smiles at the younger with his eyes forming small moon shapes along with it. He clearly had a plan in mind but the Ryeowook is still sulking and just continued eating.
"Should we try some now? I saw some were easy.", Yesung sits beside Ryeowook and sets up his TikTok. He played one audio template where a voice tells them instructions on how to do the BFF challenge.
Even though he is still sulking, Ryeowook listened to the audio and participated on Yesung's recording. The instruction was simple. The voice will count to 3 and the best friends will do a pose, if they are really in sync and are "true besties" they'd end up making a similar one.
1... 2… 3...
Yesung did the signature flying kiss pose of Ryeowook expecting that the other will do the same. But since Ryeowook is still annoyed at him, he just side-eyed his Hyung, similar to what Kyuhyun would do when they take selcas.
"YAH! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Are you Kyuhyun now?", Yesung called him out.
"I'm still annoyed at you.", Ryeowook plainly said, then focused back at his stew. Yesung clicks his tongue in annoyance.
"I'll still upload this but we should take another challenge.", he took a minute composing a caption for his new video, then set up a different TikTok audio for their second attempt.

This time it was just a western song playing which made Ryeowook confused. He was waiting for the instructions on what to do but there's no voice-over. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at his best friend.
🎵 I can't let you go now that I got it… 🎵
On the other hand, Yesung was smirking at him, then signaled him to come closer. He leans closer to him, thinking that Yesung would whisper an instruction on what to do this time. But what he received was not an instruction.

Yesung closed the gap between them and pecked him on the lips. Ryeowook was taken by surprise but that didn't mean he didn't reciprocate the kiss. As if by reflex, he accepted Yesung's kiss and got flustered by his own reaction.
Yesung smirks as he successfully did this one. He drops his phone, forgetting about the video. He knew it in him that he really wanted to do this challenge, not for Tiktok but to make sure about something.
