President x Pediatrician: in which Ms. Kang discovers her boss's pet name for his girlfriend.

"Could you verify once more if the number of units being shipped from Germany matches the auditor's summation report?" Seung-hyo rubs his temple as he stares at a television screen right next to where Ms. Kang sits.
"I'm on it," she replies, clicking away at her computer.
Seung-hyo checks his phone— 4:30 p.m.
He's been expecting a call from the auditor since quarter past 4, but the man has yet to contact him. Slamming his hand phone onto Ms. Kang's desk, he continues to analyze the line graph currently on display.
"I refreshed the emails we received but Mr. Shin still hasn't sent the revised report he promised he'd give—"
"Where the hell—"
The telephone rings and Ms. Kang confirms that it's the auditor, finally. Seung-hyo returns to his seat and lets out a heavy sigh before speaking. "Mr. Shin—"
"I apologize for the delay, Mr. Gu," the other man apologizes immediately. "I tried to call your cell but it was busy."
"Doesn't matter. You will be sending the revised report, as expected? We want to make sure there won't be any issues with Customs."
"Definitely. Please check your email, sir."
Seung-hyo wordlessly gestures to Ms. Kang, who understands her boss instinctively. "Email received," she confirms.
"We got it. Please keep your lines open for the next few hours in case we have further queries." Seung-hyo ends the call not long after and checks his watch. "Wasted 15 minutes waiting for a 30-second call? Damn it." He spins his chair around to face the window, closing his eyes momentarily.
A ringing sound fills the office once more and he sighs. A few seconds pass and the noise continues. "Ms. Kang, take the call if you need to—"
"It's not mine, sir. You left your phone on my table and..."
"Mr. Shin again, isn't it?"
"Let me see— eotteokhae—" Ms. Kang bites her lip. "Omo—"
"Should I play a guessing game to figure it out?" Seung-hyo spins back around to face her.
"It's... it's My Beloved Princess calling, sir." Ms. Kang witnesses her boss turn red in the face, mortified.
"Nae Saranghaneun Gongjunim," she reads the caller ID aloud, her cheeks blushing. "Oooh, I never knew you were in touch with someone from the Joseon Dynasty, sajangnim...."
Seung-hyo makes a run for it, grabbing his phone before leaving the room. Ms. Kang squeals in delight and texts Mr. Choi, her boss's driver. "When will you buy me dinner? I won our bet!"

Making sure no one's around, Seung-hyo leans against the wall right next to the fire exit and calms himself. "How are you?" he asks No-eul, who's on the other line.
"I'm sorry I had to call you at work—"
"I missed your voice." He tells her, smiling to himself. "Is something wrong?"
"It's just that I was fixing my things before I drove back to Gangneung and I couldn't find my ID..."
"Did you think I took it?" He chuckles.
"I'm saying maybe I left it in your car last night," she laughs. "It might be there."
Seung-hyo glances at his watch. "I'll be out in an hour or so and check right away. Should I bring it to you if I do find it?"
"Yes, please," No-eul sighs. "I'm pretty sure I still had it on when you picked me up yesterday... but now that I think about it, I don't remember taking it off when I got home."
"Aigo... my goodnight kiss must've made you forget." Seung-hyo grins, imagining how flustered No-eul must be. True enough, he hears her curse at him on the other line.
"Should I kiss you again later for you to remember?" he adds.
"You're too full of yourself, President Gu— get back to work!"
"Yes I will, Dr. Lee," he laughs and nods as he makes his way back to his office. "I'll see you soon...."
