Summary
Set pre-canon, my interpretation of the events that led to Klaus being in rehab at the start of season 1.
Klaus is desperate and determined to do whatever it takes to block out the pain of his "ability" and the horror it has caused his life to be. Ben is stuck unable to stop the man he loves from destroying himself.
I will eventually write happy for these two, but this ain't it.
