Thor understood now. His brother had come from battle—power-mad and still riding the rush of combat. He needed to mark and claim, to assert his prowess and relieve the tension and aggression still burning in him, the fire barely caged by his ribs, and so he had come to Thor, to someone he could scratch and bite and use and someone who would be able to withstand it.
