Jeongyeon is the CEO of HJM clothing and is currently on a business trip to Jeju for possible new ventures.
Her wife, Mina, is the Division manager of their design sector.
Jeongyeon is always away on business trips to expand their influence on the fashion industry and Mina has to hold the fort and somewhat organize the chaos that her team usually does.
The rag tag team that they have does produce utter chaos on a daily basis but workwise, the results they make are extra ordinarily good.
While on her way to the venue, Jeongyeon’s phone suddenly vibrated. Upon checking, she’s getting a video call notification from her wife. Jeongyeon placed her earbuds and answered the call.
JY: Hi princess. Good morning. Why are you calling so early?
MN: I’m already at the office. I can’t bear to be at our house right now, it’s just too lonely.
JY: Aw. Does my little penguin miss her adorably beautiful hot wife already? I literally left like 2 hours ago.
MN: And if I do? Is anything wrong with that? I’m still not happy that I have to wake up alone. You could have waked me up so I at least saw you before you leave.
JY: I’m sorry babe. You know this is important right? It’s for our future. And it’s too early and I want you to rest up as much as possible. To be honest, it was difficult to get out of bed earlier when you are clinging to me like your life depended on it.
MN: It’s just that we’ve been extremely busy, I barely saw you this week.
JY: I’ll just have a couple of more trips then maybe we can set a week just for two of us. How are you feeling by the way?
MN: Nothing out of the ordinary really other than utter loneliness.
As Jeongyeon looked at her wife, Mina has unleashed one of her death blows for Jeongyeon, her pout.
JY: Baby, please not that. I would kill anyone to hug my precious princess right now.
MN: Please look for someone to kill right now. I terribly need your hug.
JY: Baby, don’t make this hard for me. It’s taking my whole will power to not go back and give you my hugs and kisses. Fuck this business meeting.
MN: I’d rather if you fuck me.
Jeongyeon’s eyes widened as Mina looked at the camera with those sultry eyes as she bit her lip.
JY: Oh God. Please Mina, you are making this hard for me. I promise I’ll make it up to you ok? And just so you know, as much as I like you leaving marks on me, it’s just not the appropriate time to have this with today’s meeting.
MN: So you leaving me alone in bed is fine but me leaving marks at you are inappropriate?! Fine! Maybe it’s appropriate that you sleep somewhere else starting today!
Mina looked away at the camera as her eyes are getting watery.
JY: Baby, that’s not what I meant. I’m sorry. I’ll make this as quickly as possible so I can get back at you right away ok? Please don’t cry.
Jeongyeon looked helplessly at the camera as she saw Mina wiping her tears.
MN: I’m sorry my love. I just really miss you so much.
Jeongyeon saw the sadness in Mina’s eyes as she tried to cheer her wife up.
JY: I miss you so much as well baby. I’m near the venue of the meeting so I need to go in a few.
MN: Can you postpone for a couple of minutes? I just want to talk to you more.
JY: You know I can’t baby. We are the one who needs their backing and we need to give a good impression.
MN: Ok fine. By the way, we might be interviewing someone latter to be added to the team. Do you want me to send her information to you before we decide if we will take her or not?
JY: You don’t need to. I trust you to make the decision. It’s your division anyways so you will be working with her more than me so you need to decide yourself or you can ask Jihyo for advice as well. I just hope she is not too salty that you demoted her.
MN: You don’t need to worry about Jihyo. We’ve already talked and we agreed to give the young ones the chance to manage the teams and she can step in anytime if anything happens. And she was also the one who requested it since she wants to lessen her workload and use the extra time to explore other things.
JY: That would be awesome, the extra time I mean. I would use that to explore you more if you know what I mean. Hehehe
Jeongyeon looked at the camera with her mischievous smile.
Suddenly a voice was heard just outside of Mina’s office.
??: You know, I do appreciate the trust that you gave me but I just had my breakfast and the last thing I want know is to barf them out with what I’m hearing.
Footsteps are heard and a person popped out just outside of Mina’s office with a face full of disgust.
JH: You know we live in world where headphones are a thing right?
Mina quickly looked at Jihyo then placed her hands on her face as her cheeks turned crimson.
JY: Hi Jihyo. Good morning to you too.
Jeongyeon greeted cheekily knowing her best friend without even seeing her.
MN: Oh my goodness. I’m sorry you have to hear that. I thought no one will be here at this time.
JH: No worries. I kinda forgot that I’m not a team leader already so I don’t need to be early, force of habit maybe.
Jihyo went behind Mina to join the video call.
JH: Yoo! What the hell did you do to Mina? Why was she crying?
JY: Hey Park! Don’t get the wrong idea. You know that the last thing that I would do is to hurt my beautiful wife. I’d rather hurt you instead midget. Hahahaha
Jihyo moved in front of the camera with her eyes wide open.
JH: Yah ostrich! You know this midget can kick your ass anytime of the day.
JY: Yeah, yeah. I know. I still have nightmares when I recall the time you gave me a rear naked choke out of nowhere when you saw Mina crying and quickly blamed it on me when she is just having a terrible allergy attack.
JH: And I already apologized for that. You know I would hurt anyone who hurts my department head.
Jihyo moved away from the camera and gave Mina a back hug.
JY: Yah! Don’t hug my wife. I’m the only one who has the right to hug her.
MN: Well, if you are here then you can hug me all you want but for now, I guess I’ll enjoy Jihyo’s cuddles instead.
Mina looked at Jeongyeon again with those teasing eyes as she leaned on Jihyo.
JY: Yah. You two are insufferable.
Mina and Jihyo looked at each other and started laughing.
JY: Well, I’m already here at the venue so I need to go. Jihyo, please take care of Mina for me please.
JH: Of course I will. You don’t even have to ask. Bring me some goodies over there.
JY: Fine. How about you princess, you want anything?
MN: I just want you my love.
Jihyo suddenly makes barfing sounds and let’s go of Mina.
JH: I will never go to the office again this early if this is what I will see.
JY: Then don’t my goodness. I’m heading out now. Love you princess.
MN: Love you more, my love.
As they said their goodbyes, more barfing sounds are heard from the office.
Mina just smiled and she locked her phone and stood up.
