Chapter 1:
A week has passed since the battle between the kingdoms against Dark Triad. Magic knights are excited for the ball held by Juluis to celebrate their victory and to have fun with their fellow comrades. They are scattered across the town to buy fancy suits and dresses.
At the blue rose squad base the girls are squealing in excitement as they flooded Charlotte with questions,
"Heyy captain what are you gonna wear?"
"Are finally gonna confess to Captain Yami?"
"Will you wear make up at the ball Captain? I WILL DO IT FOR YOU! "
"You're gonna be the star of the ball Captain! With that fair skin and beautiful face of yours"
"aahhh I'm so jealous of you captain, what's your skin care? "
said her squad members, then Sol finally shouted with irritation "HEY! leave sis alone, let's give her space, she has a lot in her mind right now", Charlotte sigh in relief "Thank you Sol, it's alright there's nothing wrong with being excited but I need to rest first" said Charlotte.
Charlotte went up to her room and as she entered, she immediately sat down feeling exhausted. She doesn't have anything yet to wear for the ball because she have been busy with a lot of paper works. After the battle in the Spade Kingdom, Charlotte's mind has been very occupied because she still haven't told Yami that she loved him so much and it has already been 10 years. She was tired of always lying to herself, she didn't want to deny this feelings anymore. And finally, Charlotte thought that this is the time she will be honest and let out the feelings that has been a burden in her heart for 10 years. Charlotte fell asleep as she was contemplating.
The next day, 2 days before the ball Charlotte went out to her hometown to visit her family's seamstress. As she arrive at the store the owner was happy to see her
"Ohhh Charlotte what a surprise! I mean I am not surprise because i know this is for the ball isn't?" Charlotte smiled and nodding her head
" It's been a while and I see you're still as lively as before" Charlotte said.
"Ohh yess business is booming since you've become a captain. You're quite famous my dear" Said the seamstress teasingly
Charlotte don't want the attention that she is receiving from people she just want to do her job right.
"That's good to hear" Charlotte said as she remove her coat and entered the store.
"Well then let's get to your dress. I will make you the show stopper of the night! " said the seamstress excitedly
"Please a simple dress will do" Charlotte said with an embarrassed face
"Oh dear your funny as always. With that face and beautiful body of yours you deserve a glamorous dress"
Charlotte didn't have a choice and agreed with the seamstress. Charlotte followed her to where the gowns are stored. She was shocked as she saw the gown the seamstress was showing her, it wasn't her style but the seamstress insisted her to try it on. She entered the fitting room to wear it down and the seamstress was waiting for her outside. As Charlotte stepped out of the fitting room the seamstress was amaze of her beauty. She was like an angel on earth so graceful and gentle, she was indeed the beauty of the clover kingdom.
"Oh Charlotte" said the seamstress with a teary eye "You've grown so much i was moved into tears seeing you so strong and beautiful"
"Thank you, but I think it's a little too much I don't want to steal the attention of the people at the party" said Charlotte as she looked into the mirror "I just want something simple but elegant"
"I knew you would said that, and I have a perfect dress just for you" the seamstress agreed as she walked out to grab the dress
As Charlotte saw the dress, she knew that this is the dress she was looking for. It was a simple blue laced dress with a deep V neck and blue roses are stitched around the dress, it has a flowy skirt with tight long sleeves. This dress is really for her, it tells who she is as a person.
"It's perfect thank you so much" Charlotte said
As she looked at herself at the mirror with the blue laced dress, she felt satisfied. She indeed look beautiful.
"Keep it, I made it especially for you and you don't have to pay me"
"But.. "
"No it's may payment for making my business so successful" said the seamstress with a smile
"Thank you a million times I love it so much" Charlotte said as she stepped in the fitting room to change back at her clothes
Charlotte was already done to change and ready to leave the store with her beautiful dress.
"Now go and make sure to make that dress worth it by confessing your feelings to that man! " shouted the seamstress
Charlotte's face went red, she was so embarrassed and hurriedly left. She finally arrive at her base and as she was laying at her bed thinking "how did she know? ", "making the dress worth it huh? I guess it's time".
