WILLOWCLAN

An outlier among all the clans, Willowclan was formed within the last generation by the ambitious Willowstar. Young apprentices admire her next to the other leaders at Gatherings, but senior warriors know her origin; as Willowpaw of Palmclan. She has fought hard to make the other clans see her claim as legitimate, and when Starclan themselves approved, no cat could deny that Willowclan was intended to occupy the last territory of heavy, shady forests. Her journeys to Cherryclan and beyond are evident in her wise gaze, and the diversity of cats occupying her new clan. Each made a difficult journey back south to the other 4 clans, leaving behind lives as Loners, Rogues, and Village cats to lend their talents to growing Willowclan.

Surely, this clan is something only of nursery tales? Cats who lived peacefully without borders under beautiful flowering forests, hunting in nearby fields in cooperation with twolegs and their loners. It was this lifestyle that separated them permanently from Starclan and the other 4 clans ... that is, until the bold new Willowclan brought with them Cherryclan apprentices as some of its founding members. Most are hesitant to believe in Cherryclan's return, almost as much as their reservation of young Willowstar's unprecedented leadership.
