Summary
The trees cast shadows across the boggy puddles, not even the rustling of any bushes breaking the oppressive silence.
Until Leaf wrinkled her snout and sneezed, barely the sound of a mouse. Her tail lashed as she rubbed at her nose, desperately trying to pick any scent up. Ears pricked at a whisper of crackling leaves before the soft-paw neatly pounced on a marsh rat. Holding her catch, her tail curled as she began her walk back to camp.
Crimson eyes pierced the night.
