    The dreams were, more often than not, nightmares. At least, that’s the way George defined them. They were scattered images of lingering touches, hot breath on overheated skin. Missed opportunities and trembling hands, the overwhelming desire to just say it.

    I love you.

    George dreamt of everything he could have had, but never took. And in turn, he loathed himself upon awakening.

     

    After Dream is imprisoned, George reflects on his life and wishes things could have been different.
