"Whatever it Takes" ch1 Spark of Rebellion
Sleeping in the guts of a down ship is not the best place to take a nap but Ahsoka will take what she can get. As she naps visions come to her, images of Loth-wolfs, Loth-cats and Convors flash before her, and a boy her age in the dark lumnaded by a green lightsaber and a white Loth-wolf behind him. The boy is also saying a nursery rhyme. "Loth-rat, Loth-cat, Loth-wolf, run. Pick a path and all is done" and then there was fire.
"Might i suggest less sleeping and a little more work?" Master Kenobi said to Ahsoka pulling her out of her vision she then softly groans and says "Sorry, Master Kenobi" she gets up and Kenobi hands her a cup of warm tea and says to her, "Here, this should help." As he sets up he continues speaking "We need to change planes. You must focus on the firing drives. Disengage them." he then starts to walk to the exit of the ship. Ahsoka puts her tea down and calls out to him "But i'm almost finished putting this junk heap back together, and now..." Master
Kenobi interrupts her as he takes out a speeder "Just do as I say. We don't have much time." Master Kenobi walks out of the ship with the speeder "Mmm. You're the boss." she says as she rolls her eyes at him and goes back to working on the ship.
As Ahsoka worked on the ship she can hear Master Kenobi talking to someone. More than likely it was The Father. Soon she heard the speeder take off but she can still fill the Father purance outside. Cautiously she got out of the ship's guts and walked outside of the ship. From the top of the ramp she can see the Father looking at her with his hands behind his back. "Hello Child, do they often leave you to yourself?" the Father asked Ahsoka as she walked down the ramp and to him. "Not often, Master Skywalker is too overprotective to let me be by myself often." said Ahsoka.
The Father hummed and looked off to the distance and then the Father asked her "If you had a chance to fix the future would you?" Ahsoka began to go deep in thought, Would she fix the future? It really was an open ended question in her mind, "It would depend on what I'm trying to change." Ahsoka said with confetes. The Father looked at her and gave her a soft smile and said "Good, for I have seen many paths and they all lead down to the same place." the Father started to frown and then he looked off into the surrounding mist, then a pair of yellow-gold eyes appeared and began to walk up to them. As it walked up to them it started to take form, it was a white Loth-wolf from her visions. And on the wolf's head was the most beautiful convor she has ever seen in her life.
"To fix the future you must know how it will be." the Father said as he put a hand on the wolf and gave it a small pat, the convor flew off the wolf and landed on
the Father's shoulder. "He will take you there." the Father said jestering to the Loth-wolf and then pointed to the Convor saying "And Morai will be your guide." Morai then flew
off the Father and onto Ahsoka's shoulder. The Loth-wolf then walked up to her and stared into her eyes "sleep." the wolf said as he blew onto her face and that was the last
thang she remembers as she fell unconscious.

When she awoke next Ahsoka found herself in a small room filled with old tech, posters on the walls and weird looking clone helmets. she herself was laying in a hamic. She then notes that Morai was seting on one of the helmets sleeping. Now that she was able to look at Morai better Ahsoka could see that the convor is even more gorgeous than when she saw her the first time. Morai's belly was a soft cream color and her head and back green as the Daughter's hair and her tail long and patit.
Ahsoka brought out of her thoughts at the sound a door swishing open and a boy walked though. He looked to be a year or two younger than her, hair a black-blue and eyes an even brighter blue and he was wearing an orange jumpsuit. "Oh you're awake now that's good I was beginning to worry, you've been out for Days now." he said as he put a black helmet on a shelf. Ahsoka blinked and ask "Who are you? So that I can thank my caregiver." the boy looked at her and smerked and said "Ezra Bridger, and yous." Ahsoka carefully thought about whether to give him her real name or not. At the end she gave him her real name "Ahsoka Tano, where are we anyway?" Ahsoka asked as she got up out of the hamic and walked up to him.
"we are in my tower on the planet of Lothal. Where did you come from anyway? You showed up out of nowhere and your bird wouldn't leave me alone till I brought you inside." Ezra said as he pointed to Morai who was now awake and pruning her feathers. Ahsoka was ever thankful that her grandmaster had a tongue that was made of silver and She learned how to tell half truths. "No clue the last thang I remember is passing out after my ship crashed." Ahsoka said as she walked over to Morai and started to run her fingers over her head and down her back. Ezra looked at her with his eyes narrowed just a bit. He then sighed and walked over to her and handed her a ration bar and said to her "here this is the last one we'll have to go into town for more food tomorrow." he then he walked off and pulled out a second Hammock stringed it up and climbed in "night." he said he then rolled over and fell asleep.
Ahsoka looked down at the ration bar that Ezra gave her and then looked back at him. sighing she extended her arm to Morai who jumped on, she then walked to the door to let her out so she could hunt. After letting out Morai, Ahsoka walked over to her hamic and got in ate her ration bar and laid all the way down and rolled Over, with her back facing Ezra and closed her eyes and fell back to sleep.

The next morning Ahsoka awoke to Ezra shaking her awake. Looking up at him she saw that Morai was on his shoulder. "Come on if we leave now we can get the best pickings." he said as he walked back outside to get to the left. Ahsoka got up and followed him, as she got to him he handed her a cloke. she raised an eye ridge at him but took it anyway. when they got to the bottom of the tower he led her to a speeder bike, he got on first and Ahsoka got on behind him and he took off to the city that she could see in the distance, Morai flying above them. When they got to the city and got off the speeder Ezra hid the Speeder bike and led her to one of the many markets.
When they got to the many markets of the city Ahsoka a group of soldiers harassing a farmer. "Your identification. Now." said an officer that looked like he would pop out of his uniform. There was another one next to him that looked like he could use a good meal or two. "I'm just trying to sell a couple jogans here." said the farmer and then the skiny officer spoke next. "All trade must be registered with the Empire." Ahsoka could see that the farmer had fallen on hard times, his fur was not as shiny as it was supposed to be and his eyes were a little sunken in. Ahsoka was about to go over there and give the officers a piece of her mind but was stopped by Ezra who shocked his head and said "watch and learn." he then walked to the soldiers, and she continued to watch them.
"I remember what it was like before your ships showed up, before you Imperials ruined Lothal like the rest of the galaxy." said the farmer and the onlookers gave each other sad looks. the skinny officer took out a comlink and said into it "This is LRC-01. I'm bringing in a citizen under a charge of treason."
" Copy that, LRC-01. Dispatch to cell block AA-33. " came the reply as two troopers graped the farmer by both arms and the big officer took the basket of jogans "Take him away." said LRC-01 "You can't do this!" yelled the farmer. The big officer took out a jogan from the basket and began to eat it and said "Oh, Yeah? Well, who's gonna stop us? You? You?" he laughs as he tosses the jogan up and down as the onlookers walk away. Ahsoka soon saw Ezra walk in between the officers head down and hands up "Hey, mister, a spare jogan?" he asked, "Move along, loth-rat." said the big officer and Ezra cowered from him and said "Sorry, sorry. Not looking for trouble." he then walked away from them. He then straighten up walked over to Ahsoka with a comlick in hand and said to her "But it sure has a way of finding me." he then began to speak into it " All officers to the main square! This is a code red emergency. "
"It's your lucky day, Lothal scum. You wo, come with us!" said LRC-01 as the two troopers that were holding the farmer threw him on the ground and as they walked away the big officer threw the basket of jogans on the gronde with the farmer "Stay on alert! Repeat, this is a code red." Ezra said as he and Ahsoka knelt down to help the farmer putting the jogans back into the basket. "Thank you." said the farmer as he handed both of them an jogan each. Ahsoka took hers with a thanks so did Ezra but he took more and put them in his bag and said "No. Thank you."
"Wait. Wait! what are you doing?" The farmer proclaimed as he watched Ezra take more "Hey, a kid's gotta eat." he said as he put Ahsoka's jogan in the bag too and grabbed her hand, ran off to the building and climbed up to the top. When they got to the top Ahsoka crossed her arms and shook her head at him. Ezra looked back "What you act like you never seen someone get food before." he said as he walked backwards. "I Have but I have never seen someone still so Blatantly." Ezra rolled her eyes at her and he signed for her to lower her voice and creeped to the edge of the building where they heard a trooper say over a comlink " Copy that. We have reached the location and we are standing by. "
When they looked down they saw the two officers from the market talking to a third one that was obviously higher ranking "What's the emergency?" said LRC-01 "Emergency?" the third said "You called in a code red." the big one said both of whom were confused. "I... I'm not sure what you mean. My orders are to get these crates to the Imperial Portal." the third said, Ahsoka and Ezra watch them load up the crates on speeder bikes "Well, get them loaded then!" said LRC-01, Ezra chuckles and nuges Ahsoka who was also chuckleing and said to her "Almost feel bad for them. Almost." he then crossed his arms on the reggae and continued to look down. Ahsoka soon felt the force hum and when she looked to Ezra she saw that he felt it to "That was weird, I..." he said as he quickly got up to look to the right where he saw a man in green and wearing armor from the shoulder down and a holster on his waist.
when Ezra was looking at the man Morai landed on Ahsoka and gently nipped her on one of her lekku to get her attention. When Ahsoka did give it to Morai she flew off and divided bombed the man with a scresh, who then turned around to look in there direction. Ezra dunked to the ground dragging Ahsoka with him. Both Ahsoka and Ezra carefully looked back over the reage to continue to watch the man.
He stopped by Lasat and then taped his hand on his thigh, then the Lasat walked off. The man then walked up to a Mandalorian in colorful armor and tapped his holster and they taped back. "Interesting" Ezra said as they watched the Manalorian walk up close to the speeders and then place something on one, and walked away. Soon there was a good size explosion.
"Get those crates out of here! Keep them secure at all costs!"
""All costs," huh? I Like the sound of that." said Ezra as both raced off to follow them. They soon saw the man from before firing at the troopers, and soon he was joined by the Lasat who grabbed one and threw him at another, and did it again with two more troopers and the fighting stopped. it was only then that Ezra made his move and jumped down and got on one of the bikes. "Thanks for doing the heavy lifting!" he said, he backed up the bike and dodged the Lasat as he did, when he was clear of the Lasat Ahsoka jumped down and got on behind him. Ezra kept backing up, knocking over the trooper as he did. He then raced forward passing the third officer. Soon they saw the Manalorian jump down from a building "Pretty gutsy move, guys!" she said Ezra tried to shake her off but then she pulled out a blaster. "If the big Guy catches you, he'll end you" she then fired between the two crates "Good luck!" she yelled and then she walked away, the other two still following them. Then they came across four troopers
They were soon shot by the man. "Who are these guys?" Ezra asked. Ahsoka rolled her eyes and yelled at him "Keep your eyes on the road." it was then that Ezra had to take a very sharp turn to avoid all of the Sentients. They soon made it outside of the city, but the joy was short-lived as soon, as they were being fired upon by more troopers on bikes. One of the troopers got locky and hit the Crate. "That's never good!" they said together as the bike started to lose control and soon the bike jumped the median and landed on the other side and the bike straightened out and they took off once more. Soon the man caught up to them, they then went faster. Next thing they knew The man jumped to their side and landed in front of them causing sparks to fly in their face and the man used the destruction to get way in front of them and block their way of escape. Ezra came to a screeching halt next to the man and they both let out a sigh of disappointment.
"Who are you?" asked Ezra, "I'm the guy who was stealing that crate." he said with a mad face. Ezra came back at him with a retort "Hey, look, we stole this stuff, whatever it is, fair and square."
"And you both made it pretty far. But i've got plans for that crate, so today is not your day." The man said as he was talking to them both of them saw a ship coming in hot towards them "Mmm, day's not over." said Ezra and he moved out of the ship's path. "Oh, wonderful." said the man as the ship fired on him and he jumped out of the way not even saving the bike. They drove past him and they both gave him a mock soulot saying "Have a good one!" and they speed off.
they made it to the grass plains but the fighter ship was now after them "Whatever's in these crates must really be worth it!" yelled Ezra and soon it was firing at them. "Better be worth it!" yelled Ahsoka, the ship hit the bikes back engine causing them and the crate to fly off it. when they got up they looked to the smoking bike and then to the ship that was racing toward them that was ready to end it. Then the ship exploded, they looked behind them to see a light freighter behind them with it's ramp open and the man standing in the entrice. "You want a ride?" he asked, Ahsoka ran and jumped in without a second thought, Morai flew in after her and landed on her shoulder and the man took a hold of the back of her cloak so she wouldn't fall out. "Kid, you have a better option? Come on!" he said to Ezra who was still on the ground,
he then went after the crate and the man yelled after him "Leave the crate, you'll never make it!"
Ezra soon proved him wrong by jumping high in the ari and the crate and him landing at the bottom of the ramp with a grunt. "Whoa." the man said amazed by the feat of the jump. The man put Ahsoka further in the ship to keep her safe and then went back to get Ezra and the crate the ramp closing after them when they got in.
When they got in they saw the Lasat and the Manalorian from before. The Lasat was taking the lead of the crate and inside of the crate it was full of military grade blasters, Ezra looked in and said to them "Oh! Do you have any idea what these are worth on the black market?" Ezra picked up one to look at it. "I do, actually." the man said. The Lasat said to Ezra in a deep and gravelly voice "Don't get any ideas." he then took the blaster out of Ezra's hands when he said "They're mine." and placed it back in the crate and said back to him "If you two hadn't gotten in our way..." Ezra then interrupts him "Too bad. We got to them first."
The man then separated them and said to Ezra "It's not who's first. It's who's last.” He then grabbed Ahsoka's arm and guided her to a leader and said to the other two "Keep an eye on our friend here. i'll keep an eye on this one." they then climbed to the top to get to the cockpit. there Ahsoka saw a twi'lek piloting the ship that said to the man "You said this was a routine op. What happened down there?" and then the orange droid beeped at him. Sighing he said to the droid as he pushed Ahsoka in the seat behind the pilot "Chopper, Please. It's been a difficult morning." he then lends on the co-pilot set "He has a point, love. We've got four TIE fighters closing in." the pilot said as she pushed some buttons. "Hera, how about a little less attitude and a little more altitude?" the man said to her.
Hera then a barrel roll making the man land in the co-pilot seat. Scoffing he said to her "If I didn't know better, i'd think you did that on purpose." pointing a finger him she said "If you knew better, we wouldn't be in this situation. seriously, Kanan, what happened?" Kanan then gesterd at Ahsoka and then to the monitor on the wall saying "they did." Hera looked at her and then to Ezra and said "Two kids tripped you up? Must be some kids. spill it."
"Aren't you a little busy at the moment?"
"Spill." Hera said giving Kanan a look and Kanan told her what happened with Ahsoka giving her input. After they were done Hera said to Kanan "The kids sound impressive."
"You're not thinking what I think you're thinking."
"He held onto a crate of blasters with a pack of troopers on their tail." Hera said as she pressed more buttons.
"Because I was there to save them. there both street rats. Wild, reckless, dangerous and..." Kanan said and looked back at the moneter only to see "Gone?" he then
got on the ships PA and asked "Zab, Sabine. where's the kid?"
" Calm down, chief. He's in...Uh...Here. "
"Zeb, where is he?" Kanan asked and gave Ahsoka a look that said to stay put. " Well, he is still in the ship. "
"Oh, he's in the ship all right." said Sabine
Hrea smirked and said to Kanan "Very creative. Sounds like someone I used to know."
"ugh." Kanan got up to go to the ship's top gun as he passed Ahsoka he said to her "Stay here with Hera and don't go anywhere." he then left.
"Shields are holding for now, but you need to buy me time to calculate the jump to lightspeed." said hera " Buying time now! " said Kanan and soon started to fire at the TIE's. After a few minutes Hera went on the PA saying "Calculations complete, but we need an opening."
" Found one. " said Sabine as she fired on and shot down a TIE. "Entering hyperspace!" Hera yells as she pulls a leaver and goes into hyperspace. Ahsoka watched as the stars blerd into blue lines and then to a swirling blue tunnel and shortly after dropped out of hyperspace. When they did Zeb came into the cockpit with Ezra in his meaty paws yelling at him "Let go! You can't keep us here! Take us back to Lothal!"
“Calm down. That's exactly what we're doing." said Hera as she placed the last commands in the nav-computer. "Wait, right now? With Imperials chasing us?" asked Ezra,
Ahsoka had to agree with Ezra "Even I Know that's highly risky. My brother would have never done a stunt like that." she said to Hera, the Twi'lek just smiled at them and said "We lost the TIEs when we jumped, and the Ghost can scramble its signature so they won't recognize us when we return." Ahsoka was impressed normally ships this size usually never had signature scramblers on it. Ezra was amazed too "Oh, that's pretty cool!" Ezra then shocked his head "So Just drop us and our blasters outside Capital City and..." Ezra was interrupted by Sabine and Kanan walking into the cockpit "They're not your twos blasters." Sabine said and was then followed up by Kanan saying "And we're not going back to Capital City. The job's not done."

They soon got back to Lothal and landed outside a small town. Ezra and Ahsoka walked out of the Ghost and looked at the town and Morai flew off to it. Ezra then notices Hera and Kanan taking the blasters and walking in the opposite way of the town. "Hay, where are they going?" he asked Zeb and Sabine as they passed them with some more crates. "If I told you, I'd have to kill you. Oh, and I might just kill you anyway." Zeb said to them.
"Grab a crate, pull your weight." Sabine said, and they both did.
When they got to the town Ahsoka saw all of the beings that were living in squalor. There were sick old men, women trying to nurse their babies from their breasts, and children that were nothing but skin and bone. As they got closer to the center of town the force sang sadder and sadder, Ahsoka put up her shield up higher to block off the sad song the force sang.
"Lived on Lothal my whole life. Never been here." said Ezra
"The Imperials don't advertise it." Sabine said
"Locals call it Tarkintown." Zeb said and Sabine continued "Named for Grand Moff Tarkin, Governor of the Outer Rim. He kicked these folks off their farms when the The Empire wanted their land." and Zeb said next "Anybody who tried to fight back got arrested for treason."
they soon got to the center just as the sun was picking from the horizon. "Who wants free Grub?" Zeb yelled and lefted leds off of the crate revealing it full of food of all sorts. Many of the town people came rushing over and thanking them immensely. Even with all the charter Ahsoka still heard Ezra say "I... I didn't do anything." and she saw him walk back to the Ghost. Ahsoka frowned; she wished she could do more for the ex-farmers. She then heard a soft hoo sound, looking over to the sound she saw Morai perched on a big pot. Then it hit her, Ahsoka might not be a healer like Barriss but she knows how to make a good hearty soup. She did it all the time for her vod. Ahsoka ran over to the pot and Morai who got back on her shoulder. "What are you doing?" Ahsoka herd Sabine asked. Ahsoka looked at her and said to her "Making soup, want to help?" Sabine Nodded "my name's Ahsoka by the way. Nice to meet you." Ahsoka said to Sabine, and together with a bit of help from Zeb at times they made the soup. They soon made the ex-farmers even more happy to have a hot meal and many of them help deliver soup to the sick. Ahsoka never felt like this in so long but soon they had to leave and as they did a little one ran up to Ahsoka and gave her a flower, Ahsoka smiled and bent down and kissed the top of the younglings head.
Sabine led her to the ship's Galley and made them cups of caf. as they were drinking it Ezra came into the gally too. "Not too good at following directions, are you?" remarked Sabine.
"Not so much. You?"
"Heh, never been my specialty."
"It's so-so for me." Ahsoka said and Sabine snickered. Then Ezra then asked Sabine "Who are you people? I mean you're not thieves exactly."
"We're not exactly anything. We're a crew. A team. In some ways, a family."
"What happened to your real family?"
"The Empire. What happened to yours?" but before Ezra could answer the door opened and Zeb walked though with Chopper he then said "Kanan wants us in the common room." he then banged the top of Chopper's dome and pointed to Ezra and told him "If he tries anything, sound the alarm or shoot him." Chopper beeped and Ahsoka growled at him Showing her fangs at him, he did the same to her showing off his bigger K-9s then told Chopper "Shush. just watch them." Sabine grabbed her helmet and started to follow but stopped and said to Ezra "Sabine. My name's Sabine." Chopper then banged into Ezra who tried to follow her. Ahsoka saw that Ezra was looking around for something and when he found what he was looking for. He walked over to a vent shaft. "Ezra What are you doing? Zeb said to stay here." Ahsoka said as Ezra got into the vent and said to her "Hey, aren't you just a little curious about what there up to."
"Yes but they're not my crew, so I have no say in what they do."
Ezra rolled his eyes at her and took off. Ahsoka then looked at Chopper who made a series of beeps and clicks at her. "look I have no control over him. Why don't you take me to the crew so I can save his butt." Chopper and her got there just as after Zeb throwed Ezra to the ground. Zeb then started growling at them saying "Can we please get rid of them?" he then started to walk up to Ezra ready to bet him to a bloody mess Ezra backing up as he did. Zeb was then stopped by both Kanan and Sabine with her saying to him "No. We can't. The kids know too Much."
"We don't have time to take him home anyway." Hera said as both she and Ahsoka helped him to his feet. "We need to move now. I'll keep an eye on them." She led them back to the cockpit.

Hera soon put them into hyperspace. Ezra was in the co-pilot set with Ahsoka right behind him. Ezra was spinning the chair around and talking to Hera saying to her "You know, this whole "mission" thing is nuts. I'm not against sticking it to the Empire, but there's no way I'd stick my neck out this far. who does that?"
"We do." Hera said. They soon dropped out of hyperspace to come face to face with an Imperial transport ship. "Imperial Transport 651, this is Starbird, coming inbound." Hera held the other ship and it replied back " State your business. "
"Bounty. We captured an additional Wookiee prisoner and have transfer orders to place him with you."
" We have no such orders. '' The transporter then launched two TIE fighters to the Ghost. Morai clicked her beak nervously.
"That's fine. We already got paid by Governor Tarkin. If you don't want the oversized monong, I'll jettison it here. Let you explain to your superiors why the Empire has one less slave." After Hera finished they waited with baited breath.
" Permission to dock. Bay 1 ." Hera gave them a smile and guided the Ghost to the docking bay and lashed on to it. Soon they heard Kanan on the comlink " No troopers.
Security's soft. " then there was static. "Spectre-1, come in. Spectre-4? Spectre-5?" Hera groaned in frustration "Comm's down. No, not down. Jammed."
"I have a bad feeling about this." Ahsoka said. then the force gave her a warning, Ezra felt it too "Something's coming." then they saw a star destroyer drop out of hyperspace. "That's an Imperial Star Destroyer! yelled a Hera in shock. "this whole thing was a setup!" said Ezra "no Duh." said Ahsoka
"It's beginning to look that way." Hera said as the Star Destroyer drew closer to them. "You both need to board the transport and warn them." Hera said to the both of them "What? Why don't you do it?" Ezra asked Hera "I need to be ready to take off, or none of us stand a chance."
"No, no way. Why would I risk my life for a bunch of strangers?"
"Because Kanan risked his for you. If all you do is fight for your own life, then your life is worth nothing. They need you, the both of you. They need you right now." After Hera was done talking Ahsoka frowned at Ezra and said to him "We'll if you're not going then i'll just go by myself." she then got up off the chair and then pointed at Morai and said to her. "Stay here, this is no place for you." and ran off to the transport. Just as Ahsoka crosses the exit Ezra joins her. "You go find Kanan, and i'll go find Sabine." Ezra nodded at her plain and they split up and Ahsoka followed the Manalorain's force signature and soon she found Sabine with Chopper at a turnmetle working on something. Ahsoka ran up to her, "It's a trap! we have to go now!" she said to her "We can't, i'm almost done." Sabine said back to Ahsoka "What can I do to help?"
Chopper warbl a complaint as the girls worked together on the ternmetle "Chopper, stop grumbling and work that gravity generator." Sabine said to him, Ahsoka rolled her eyes at Chopper and said to Sabine "My brothers R2 unit never complained as much as this C1 unit does." and Sabine replied to her "You get used to it." They were almost done and soon Sabine said to them "I've got the backup ready. Now!" and soon they were floating in zero G "Artificial gravity is down for two minutes."
Both Sabine and Ahsoka placed bombs on the ternmetle and then both of them grabbed Chopper and they took off out of the room and down the hall. Soon they stopped by two troopers, Sabine contting down "Five, four... Get ready. Two, one..." and the gravity turned back on and all three dropped to the ground and the rest of the crew came up to them with Sabine asking Kanan, "Where are the Wookiees?"
"No Wookiees! Sabine, man the nose gun! Chop, tell Hera to take off!"
"Uh, right." Sabine and Chopper took off to do their jobs, along with everyone else, Ahsoka saw Zeb push Ezra back and she made sure to stay in the bake with Ezra so he wouldn't get left behind. But that was short lived as both were grabed, Ezra by his bag and Ahsoka by her cloke "Let go!" they both yelled at the trooper holding them. Zeb looked on tryin to get a good shot. "Kids, get out of the way!" he yelled at them as he dodged blaster fire from the troopers "We're trying!" said Ezra "these fools have a strong grip!" yelled Ahsoka and watched as Zeb looked at them sadly and said to them "Sorry, you two! You both did good." he then closed the blast doors. Ahsoka's heart sank, to her that Lasat lost his honor. (somewhere on Lothal a cadet sneezed.)

"There! airlock shut!" Hera yelled as she took off out of the Star Destroyer, back with Zeb he sighed and slid down the door to the ground " We're out of here! " he heard Hera on the PA.
"Chop, jam their tractor beam!" Hera told her droid he did just that.
" Attention, rebel ship. Surrender or be destroyed. This is your first and last warning. " Hera rolled her eyes. "Blow it out your exhaust vent. Literally." Hera said and Chopper chirped in laughter.
" Sabine! " and Sabine pressed the detonators botten and then the transport exploded. "Ugh, I can't see it from here. How'd it look?" asked Sabine
"Gorgeous, Sabine. As always." Kanan told her. Hera thin jumped into hyperspace.
Hera sighed and leaned back into her set and soon Sabine and Kanan joined her "The Whole thing was a setup." he said as he sat in his set and Morai hopping onto his lap "You think Vizago was in on it?" asked Sabine as she sat in her chair. "He'd sell his mother to Jawas for a couple credits. But we're a source of income for him. Even odds he didn't know." answered Hera. Soon Zeb walked into the cockpit and sat in his chair.
"The kids did all right." said Hera
"They did okay." Kanan told Hera. "Where are they?" he asked Zeb
"I, uh, thought they were with you.” Zeb nervously said.
"Zeb, what did you do to them?" asked Sabine as everyone looked at him even Morai. "I Didn't do anything to them. But that ISB agent and a trooper grabbed them."
"What?" they all said even Moria and she was about to fly over to him and give him a taste of her talons but Kanan grabbed her before she did. "The kids got grabbed, okay?" Zeb said "Garazeb Orrelios!" Hera yelled at him "Oh, come on!" Zeb explained "We were dumping them after the mission anyway! This saves us fuel." he then looked to the floor saying softly "They'll go easy on them. there are just a couple of kids."

Back at the Destroyer in the cell block both Ezra and Ahsoka were keeped in the same cell. The door opened and in walked a blond man with the most hideous mutton chops "I am Agent Kallus of the Imperial Security Bureau. And you two are..." "Jabba and Gardula the Hutts." Ezra cut in talking for the both of them. "Look, we just met those guys today. We don't
know anything."
"You're not here for what you know, "Jabba." You're here to be used as bait upon our return to Lothal." Ezra looked at him like he grew a second head. "Bait? You seriously think...Wow, you're about as bright as a binary droid. They're not gonna come for us. People don't do that.'' The ISB agent inhales deeply and leans forwards to Ezra stirred into his eyes and thin brused some dirt off Ezra then he walked out but stopped by the troopers and said to them "Search them. Then secure them here." he then walked away as the two did as they were told. They grabbed Ezra’s bag and sling shot and they thin man handled Ahsoka grabbing her two lightsabers. They walked out and closed and locked the door.
""You need to go warn them, guys."" Ezra mocked Hera, he thin got a cube out of his pocket "What was I thinking?" he got off the floor and showed the cube to Ahsoka and then tried to open it "And of course, the only thing I managed to hold onto is this worthless piece of..." he throw it in anger. he then sighed deeply shocked his head and clasp his hands together and put his head on his hands. Ahsoka looked at him and then to the holocron, she was about to open it for him when she saw it open by itself. When it opened Ezra gasped and then a man appeared saying "this is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have Fallen, with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a Warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi. Trust in the force." it then turned off and closed together and fell to the floor. It was then they decided to bust themself out and exsap together.

"No! No,no! No way! You cannot be serious!" showted Zeb “It's our fault they're there! Hera shouted back at him. "Come on Hera! We just met the kids! We're not going back for them!"
"They'll be waiting for us. We can't save them." Sabine said with sadness, she really was starting to like Ahsoka too. [Still, we should try. Right mom?] said Chopper to Hera.
"What? What did he say?" asked Zeb "He voted with me. That's two against two. Kanan, you have the deciding vote" said Hera and they looked to him for his answer and Kanan looked down at Morai, who gave him big green eyes. He sighed and looked to his crew again.

"And you bucketheads are gonna be sorry when my uncle, the Emperor, finds out you're keeping me here against my will. I guarantee he'll make a personal example..." Ezra started Coughing vehemently "Oh my maker! Help he's Choking!" Ahsoka yelled. The two guards opened the door and stepped into an empty cell, with their back to the door Ahsoka and Ezra got out. when the guards turned around Ahsoka and Ezra gave them mock suluts and said "Bye, guys." They then closed and locked the door and ran off. "Where do you think they have our stuff?" asked Ezra "My best guest the armory." said Ahsoka, and they ran off to find it. When they did find one they spit off to look for their stuff "Hey. Over here." Ezra called when he found his bag. He opened it and handed her, her Lightsabers and Ezra then looked around the room and grabbed a helmet off of a shelf and put it on his head listening to all the channels " The delay was insignificant. The transport ship Agent Kallus diverted will dock on Kessel within two hours. The Wookiees will be offloaded to work Spice Mine K-76. " the channel changed and a trooper spocked " This is Stormtrooper LS-005, reporting to Agent Kallus. "
"Kallus here. "
" Sir, both prisoner's are gone. "
" What? I knew the Kids would act as bait but I never dreamed the rebels would be foolish enough to attack a Destroyer. How did they get aboard? "
" Sir, the rebels didn't free them. They, uh... " the trooper was interrupted by a deck officer " Agent Kallus! There's a security breach in the lower hangar. " Ezra looked around and jesters for Ahsoka to follow him into a vent and together they crawled through it with Ezra still listening in. " I don't know how, but the rebel ship Approached without alerting our sensors. "
"They came back!" Ezra said as he hit his head on the vent wall "Ow! did hear that Ahsoka The Ghost crew is back! I don't believe it." he said to her. Ahsoka wanted to tell him that he was the one with the comlink and she in fact didn't hear it, but didn't. So Ahsoka instead rolled her eyes that even Commander Wolffe would be proud of. Ezra keeped leasoning to the comlink " Order all stormtroopers to converge on the lower hangar. I'll meet them there. " said Kallus. Ezra decided to help the Ghost crew. He cleared his throat and said into the comlink "This is trooper LS-123, reporting intruder in the upper hangar. Sir, I believe the lower hangar is a diversion."
" Maybe. Maybe not. Squads five through eight divert to the upper hangar. The rest, converge as ordered. " Kallus said Ezra shrugged his shoulders and said to Ahsoka "Well,
every little bit helps. come on we need to get to the lower hangar." They soon got to the entren of the lower hangar and heard Zeb say "That was not my fault!"
"Well, that's debatable." Ezra said as both he and Ahsoka dropped to the floor from the vent. Then Ahsoka saw a fist coming their way, she dunked but Ezra was not so fast enuf he got hit in the helmet. Ezra fell to the floor and thin quickly got up and took the helmet off and yelled at Zeb, "First you ditch us, then you hit me?"
"How was I supposed to know it was you? You were wearing a bucket!" Zeb yelled back. Then there was a sound of running feet. they then saw Agent Kallus and stormtroopers, they all turned around and ran back to the Ghost. "Spectre-1 to Ghost, we're leaving." Kanan said to hera on his comlink, as they ran they dodged blaster fire.they ran up the Ghost ramp Ezra stopped at the top to shoot some of the troopers but was stopped by Zeb with him saying to him "Oh,no! This time you board first." he thin flinged him into the ship. "Ghost, raise the ramp." Kanan ordered as he fired back at the troopers.
The ship took off but before they got out of the hangar, Kanan gave Sabine a nod and she pressed the detonators button causing the hanger to explode. They got out of the hangar and Hera put the Ghost into hyperspace, with Morai doing a little dance on a chair next to her as she did. Hera Sighed and leaned back into her set. Ezra and Ahsoka then came into the cockpit, Hera looked back at them and said "Welcome aboard. Again."
"Thanks. Thank you." both of them said together. And then Morai flew up to Ahsoka and landed on her arm and started to rub her face on Ahsoka's. "I really didn't think you'd come back for us" Ezra said "I'll get you both home now. I'm sure both of your Parents must be worried sick." Hera said, Ezra looked down and said softly "I don't have parents." Ahsoka then said "And I have no clue where my brothers are." Hera looked back at them sadly.
"And You've got somewhere else to be." Ezra said as both Kanan, Sabine and Chopper walked in and took a set. "I Know where they're really taking the Wookiees. Have you heard of the Spice Mines of Kessel?" all three of them and Ahsoka jumped in shock "It's basically the slave capital of the Galaxy." Ahsoka said to him "And Slaves sent there last a few months maybe a year." said Sabine and Hera continued "And for Wookiees born in the forest, it's a death sentence." Ahsoka nudged Ezra and gave him a look. "Then I guess we'd better go save 'em." the four crew members looked back at Ezra in shock ""We"?" asked Sabine "I've come this far. might as well finish the job." Ezra said and shrugged nonchalantly. Hera smiled and said "Setting course for Kessel."

They came up with a plain and Sabine handed Ahsoka one of her blasters asking "You know how to use one right?" Ahsoka rolled her eyes and took it saying "of course."
They soon got into Kessul's Atmo and got to mine K-76 just in time to see the Wookiees get out of the transport. The Ghost made a pass and fired its cannons to get rid of some stormtroopers. The ship turned around. in the Ghost Zeb said to Ezra "Try not to get dead. Don't want to carry your body out." The Ghost landed and the ramp went down. The five of them ran off, found cover and started firing at the stormtroopers. Kanan nodded at Ezra and he went off to free the Wookiees from their restants. The rest of them keeped firing to destraked the troopers. But then a Wookiee grabbed a trooper and threw a trooper with a mighty roar and the rest knocked the other trooper unconscious. The Wookiees parted to let Ezra walkthrough. The victory was short-lived as they soon heard TIEs coming inbound and started firing at the Ghost's back engines. And the Ghost started to fire back, it got a TIE. As it fell a transport took its place and it fired cannons and fired at the people on the ground. They all moved out of the way. The
Ghost left to lead the TIEs away. but that left room for the transport to land. As it opened it revild ISB Agent Kallus leading the charge. "Take them down!" Agent Kallus commanded and soon a whole new fire fight began. The Ghost crew ran to cover. a Wookiee got hit and Both Ezra and Zeb ran over to get him "He'll be okay. I've got him. Zeb said as he helped the Wookiee to his feet. " I can't maintain my position! " Hera said over the comms "Go! lead the TIEs away and give yourself maneuvering room!"
" I am not leaving you behind! " Hera said, Kanan looked up and saw a container and got a plain "No, you're not. We're running a 22 pickup."
"Seriously?" asked Sabine "You have a better option?" Kanan asked "Jump into the pit and get it over with?" said Zeb
" All right, i'll be back. Make sure you're ready. " Said Hera "22 pickup?" asked Ezra "Care to let us in on the secret?" finished Ahsoka
"Kids, i'm about to let everyone in on the secret.'' Kanan said he then got on top of the crate that they were hiding behind and got off it. Kanan then took the two parts of his Lightsaber out and put them together, he then lit it revealing a blue blade. Both Ahsoka and Ezra looked on in ahw as did everyone else. It was then that Ahsoka decided to do the same. She handed Sabine back her blaster and then jumped over the crate landed next to Kanan and turned on her two green Lightsabers.
"All troopers, focus your fire on...on the Jedis." said Agent Kallus. And the troopers did, both Kanan and Ahsoka blocked all the shots they could. "Time to go!" yelled Kanan "Everyone, into the container!" Ahsoka heard Zeb yell as she focused on the blaser fire Ahsoka couldn't help but think about how terrible shots the stormtroopers were.
Soon Ahsoka and Kanan were able to get to the containers "Zeb! Hera's incoming!" Kanan said as he blocked more shots he looked around for Ezra but didn't see him. "Kanan, I think you inspired Ezra into, well, doing something like you would do!" said Zeb. Everyone soon got into the container with Kanan and Ahsoka going in last. " Magnetic seal locked. " Hera said over the comms "I hate this part." said Zeb. Hera then took off with them. Kanan went up to Ahsoka and said to her "Ahsoka I need you to stay with Sabine and Zeb will I get Ezra out of trouble, okay." Ahsoka nodded.

After a little bet everyone was able to get into the loading dock. Ahsoka and Sabine were talking to a Wookiee Chief. Ahsoka soon saw Ezra and Kanan come in with a Wookiee cub. the little one Growled excitedly sliding down the ladder and running up to his parent and hugged each other immensely.
Some hours latter a Wookiee ship docked with the Ghost and all the Wookiees got in, the chief and his cub were the last to go. he growled and grunts at them with Sabine translating for him "Um, he says if we ever need help, the Wookiees will be there." the chief then reached out and ruffled Ezra's hair. "Good luck, Kitwarr. Try to stay out of trouble."Ezra said to the cub and the two Wookiees got on the ship "Look who's talking." Ahsoka said and Zeb laughed at her joke. "So I guess you drop us off next?" Ezra said "Uh, yeah. Finally, Right?" Zeb said as he chuckled.
"Actually I was wondering if you had room for one more crew member?" Ahsoka asked, Ezra looked at her sadly and turned and walked away, Sabine and Zeb following. Kanan stayed behind with Ahsoka and said to her "Where more than happy to have you aboard. Just go to Hera and stay with her until we reach Lothal. We'll talk more then." Ahsoka smiled and nodded and went to join Hera in the cockpit. When she got there the Ghost shock as the two ships broke apart. Ahsoka then claimed the co-pilot seat, smiling at Hera as Morai jumped on her lap and nestled there. they then jumped into hyperspace.

They arrived at Lothal some time later, Hera landing outside of Ezra's tower. Ahsoka was the first to say goodbye to Ezra, she hugged him and thanked him for taking Care of her. Ezra walked by Sabine and Chopper and then stopped by Zeb saying to him "So, uh, see you around?" Zeb then said to him "Not if we see you first." Zeb laughs and Affectionately punches his arm. Ezra groans, rubbing his arm he said "Don't worry, you won't." He then walked out of the Ghost. A Minute later Hera walked in the Ghost alone and went up to Sabine and Ahsoka and talked to them "Ahsoka, you and Sabine will be sharing a cabin and I want no complaint from you Sabine. Whatever you have to do to make it work, do it." Both girls nodded, Hera smiled and walked off to her cockpit.
"Well if we want to get done by night cycle we better get started." Sabine said, Ahsoka nodded and followed her to their cabin. After a lot of hard work they fixed the cabin to where there were two beds and a place for Morai to sleep. Some time later Ahsoka saw Ezra walk by and went to Kanan's Cabin.
Ahsoka smiled but then it slowly turned into a frown, she wondered how long she could keep her time traveling a secret.
