Work Text:

Peter was never one for giant groups of people, but when there were people in trouble Peter would.do anything to help them.

So, when there was a mission called for that needed most of the Avengers - including the rogues- he couldn't just sit there and do nothing!

After Tony had told them all to suit up, then giving Peter his best "don't get hurt or I'll kill you" look, the spider-teen took off running.

In the room he had been staying in there was a panel that Tony had put in his closet that when you push on it, it pops open. Inside Peter had hidden his spider themed costume.

Two minutes later and he, Tony, Steve, Nat, Rhodey, Sam, Bruce, and one other man were headed out to a plane.

"Who's the kid?" Steve asked Tony.

"That's Peter, some of you might have met him already. You can lose the mask now Pete. We're inside." Tony resoped, then looked to Peter when addressing him.

Peter did as Tony said and removed his mask. Captain Roger's had a surprised, no a horrified look on his face. Then turned to Peter's mentor.

Before Peter could even open his mouth the plane took off. There was some turbulence that caused Peter to wobble on his feet.

The small boy would have fallen over if it hadn't have been for the other man that had been on the plane.

"Thanks!" Peter truly appreciated the catch and meant the thank you. He turned to the man to see that it was the other man from Siberia. He hadn't been able to tell out in the dark night.

Peter took a step back from the man, slightly scared of him. But then his eyes landed on his arm. It was completely metal, from the shoulder all the way down to the man's fingers.

"Oh my god! Your arm!" Peter exclaimed excitedly.

But it seemed the other man mistook the emotion for horror.

"Oh, yeah, it's been like that for a while." Bucky solemnly said, glancing down in the limb.

"No no no! I think it's awesome! Is it fully metal? Can you feel everything? How does it move? Are there parts in the metals that connect to your nerves that help to move it? Who made it? What is it even made of? It must be vibranium, right? Because most metals like iron would be too heavy to even put on a human body… Oh! You must think I'm so rude! My names Peter." He belted out the questions at lightning speed, then introduced.

He stuck his hand out to the man, then looked up with anticipation.

"Bucky." The other simply stated, then shook his hand.

The mission ended up a success, and both Peter and Bucky left with a friend.
