   “Oh for Merlin’s sake, Granger,” he grumbled. “I said I wasn’t going to jinx you.”

   Hermione grabbed her wand anyway and stuffed it into the pocket of the small apron she had around her waist. “And why should I believe a Death Eater?” she replied acidly. She curled her fist around her wand, heart rate slowing a bit. She could take him if she had to. That much she knew for sure.

   Draco flinched, left hand hand balling into a fist. “Haven’t been called that in awhile,” he said, pointedly looking at the three-tiered shelf off to his side.

   “The Ministry may have pardoned you but that doesn’t mean I have,” she said, doing her best to mimic his careless tone.

   “Wouldn’t expect you to,” he said mildly.
