“Today’s video is not sponsored.”
*Beep*
The video pans up when it flashes a view of Felix seemingly in front of the mirror, a toothbrush hanging out of his mouth, a bit of foam at the corner. “Hi.” he says with whisker dimples on the sides of his face like a kitten and it’s almost a mumble when he proceeds to brush his teeth up and down in repetition til he washes, gargles, and wipes himself clean with a hand towel.
When he finishes he grabs the camera again, the view shortly flashes the ceiling floor before it goes back to Felix, grinning into the camera, all teeth as he shows his fresh newly brushed pearly whites in a close up with the help of a selfie stick.
“That’s probably a weird way to start my video today. Okay, but for this week's video I asked you guys on my Twitter what you'd like to see apart from me livestreaming my games and random ASMR. I got a lot of interesting replies, but one that kept popping up the most was a day in the life, house tour, and quite expectantly, the boyfriend tag. I came across a lot of boyfriend tags and tons of creative what I eat in a day videos too just to have an idea so I finally decided to combine all three and show you a day in my life this Saturday. I’m uploading this as raw as I could manage after I film it with just a bit of editing here and there, promise. So let’s get right into it.”
“It’s already 8 in the morning over here. Seungmin got here last night. Remember Seungmin, my boyfriend?” he asks with a giggle as it flips to a view of the bed, a half naked male with messy hair. He’s covered in white comforters down his waist and a sad attempt at a pillow to cover his torso as it still shows his slightly toned build and prominent collarbone.
“Good morning, boyfriend.” Felix says, the camera moves to show a view outside of his flat through the windows. There’s a car parked in a garage across the street. The camera wiggles, a smooch is heard in the background, and they’re in the camera together now, Felix resting his head on the crook of Seungmin’s shoulder for a bit as he leans back up on the bedframe and looks at Seungmin. “We usually wake up at this hour,” Felix shrugs, “and Seungmin should really be making breakfast any minute now like he promised me last night.” For added effect, Felix intentionally frowns, making faces at his boyfriend to get a move on.
Seungmin only bobs his head up and down politely, lips in a thin line as he moves still slightly sleepy and rubs his eyes more open. He finally gets out of the bed a beat later, leaving only Felix in the frame. “Alright, alright,” Seungmin huffs, obviously still tired from the deep breath he lets out. “Good morning, bub,” he adds in almost a whisper.
Felix is now looking up with puppy eyes to the side when a hand ruffles the top of his head and Seungmin is seen planting a kiss on his forehead before he turns away.
It's only when the bedroom door clicks when Felix says, giddy as a highschooler, “I love him so much, but don’t tell him I said that. He’ll probably watch this later, anyway. Doesn’t he look like a cute puppy?” A sticker appears on the frame. It says, “I love you, bub” in pink cute font and a small heart.
“I can hear him making his way down the stairs,” he says into the camera, before looking to the side. “Let’s go down then.”
So he walks out of his bedroom, a few moments after his boyfriend and records the hallway that's filled with picture frames instead of himself.
“These are photos Seungmin took on our travels in Europe and I thought it'd be nice to print and have them framed, so I put them up on the wall too.”
He descends slowly, careful steps as he stops at the last picture by the foot of the stairwell. It shows Seungmin and him with smiles on their faces. Seungmin looks a bit shy as he looks at the camera, an arm around Felix’s shoulder and Felix is looking at him with a fake sneer, with an arm around Seungmin’s waist. “And this one here is a photo of us when we went to Australia when he first met my family at Wendy’s Secret Garden in 2019. It’s actually a lowkey great spot for weddings, but we set up a whole picnic event for the meet and greet.” he laughs, recalling some few memories when he looks up. “There are a lot of stories on that, but maybe I’ll get on them in another video.”
When he reaches the kitchen, the camera picks up on his boyfriend clad in a white tank and black joggers, grabbing things from the cabinets, showing off his built shoulders.
Felix puts down the camera on the kitchen island counter, making sure Seungmin was still in the frame. "This is Saturday morning for me," he starts with a yawn, hugging his boyfriend from behind, squeezing his arms, resting his forehead against his toned back and immediately helping him set up the bowls needed and the frying pan.
Seungmin doesn't flinch from the touch, seemingly used to it, but he hums in response and cracks eggs in a bowl, beating them with a fork, before grabbing what looked like a pancake mix to add into the mix .
"Ah, I remember something!" Felix starts laughing, letting go of the taller so he can prepare breakfast for them both. Seungmin turns the stove on and places the frying pan where he slides a generous amount of butter with the help of a bread knife. “Do you remember that first time we cooked pancakes together and you thought it was the same as scrambling eggs? You kept insisting that it would make them fluffier and we ended up burning them anyway.”
Seungmin turns around and frowns at Felix, sticking a tongue out in his direction. With his free hand, he pokes Felix on the waist and sits him down on the counter that's beside the stove so he’s out of way. Seungmin grabs the bowl of pancake mix and drops a ladle full of the mixture on the pan before he turns to look at Felix again and moves to step in between Felix's legs.
"Do you really need to bring it up again? Can you shut up?" Seungmin says in singsong as he appears to be flicking Felix’s forehead before lovingly planting a kiss on his lips to somewhat compensate. Felix cutely tilts his head left and right, wrapping his arms around Seungmin's neck.
"The camera got that."
"Huh?"
Even though Seungmin's shoulders are kinda blocking Felix, he nods his head in the direction of the camera on the counter that's in front of them. "The camera. I'm recording, remember?”
"Uh, a surprise sex tape?" Seungmin asks, interest piqued. Felix is pretty sure the camera can't see him well when he looks at his boyfriend with wide eyes in horror. He unwraps his hands from Seungmin's neck to softly hit his chest out of mortification. "No! I'm recording a vlog."
"I don’t know why I totally thought you were talking to Jisung earlier? I was still in that thin bubble between sleep and awake I think. Oh, so that’s why you sounded formal, kind of. So what’s it about this time?"
"A day in the life. I'm recording the whole day so my viewers can see what I do on a Saturday. So they can know me more, right?"
Seungmin laughs with a shrug, running his large hands up and down Felix's thighs and squeezing. "I guess? I wouldn't know, I don't have supporters."
Felix mockingly scoffs at that, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah right, you do have supporters on SoundCloud. If you’ve seen my YouTube comments, half of them also want you to start your own channel."
At that, Seungmin turns around so he can face the camera directly. He feigns a sad apologetic smile as he speaks into the camera. It was cute. "Sorry guys, that won't be happening. I suck at games. Felix beats me in them more often than not."
"Such a dream crusher, he’s not wrong though. He sucks. I carry him in games most times, though he’s the best in League of Legends," Felix rolls his eyes “only,” he adds for emphasis. "Though YouTube isn't only for games, you can upload your songs on there too."
"True," Seungmin only agrees, he turns around and kisses Felix again to quiet him up, this time longer, squeezing the smaller’s waist teasingly, grinning when he can feel Felix holding back a whimper. “They can check my covers on SoundCloud, though.”
"Okay, yeah. I've told them about that. I’ll probably link it again in the description." Felix pulls away breathless, placing his hands on Seungmin's bare broad shoulders, giving him a pointed look. "As fun as that is, I'm recording this for public consumption."
"To be honest? If there weren’t a camera, you'd be all over me right now."
"I'm filming for YouTube, bub, not some raunchy website."
Seungmin laughs, stepping out and away from the camera’s view. He gets back in the frame with a glass of water and downs it, before he makes what appears to be a horrified face. “Do you smell that? Something's burning.”
“The pancakes are burnt.” Felix supplies, bending down to his side so he could hastily turn the stove off. “War flashbacks!” he yells, before jumping off from the counter and laughing, gobsmack shoving Seungmin silly. “You were so busy teasing me that you forgot the pancakes.”
“Oops,” Seungmin only laughs and walks around the island counter, getting back with a turner and a tissue roll. He makes a move to scrape the burnt pancakes off the pan immediately before setting rolls of tissue by the sink where he wraps the burnt pancake bits and turns the faucet on to wash off the residue. "Lix, looks like I made a mess again."
"You’re gonna make a better batch, right?" Felix purposely bats his eyelashes, tilting his head cutely. Seungmin doesn't say anything, just grunts, but the camera can see them getting to work side by side harmoniously in timelapse until they finally finish with two plates of bacon strips, sunny side up eggs, and stacked pancakes with a generous drizzle of maple syrup and unfocused cups of coffee on the side.

*Beep*
The face that appears in view isn’t Felix, but Seungmin. "Right now we are heading to the mall, because your favorite game freak would rather look for a game he’s been eyeing for a while now than hang out with me," Seungmin huffs out, buckling his seat belt like a diva and closing the car door with a slam.
Felix winces from the passenger seat, he could only be heard right now as the camera shakes when Seungmin keys in the ignition. "Bub, I know you're being sarcastic, but Lightning McQueen is complaining from the slamming."
Seungmin laughs. “I told you it’s too long of a name for a car. Why couldn’t we have named it Bumblered ?”
“Cause it’s stupid!” Felix protests. “It completely butchers Bumblebee’s name. Anyway, the last you suggested was Optimus Prime and it doesn’t exactly fit because this car is a full red.”
“We could spray paint a hint of blue to justify it.”
Felix bites his lip to keep from laughing from their pointless argument as he grabs the camera from his boyfriend and places it on the dashboard where it shows them both this time.
"Anyway, we’re losing the point. I’m only acting out because you turned down my offer for a movie."
"Who wants to watch a movie on a Saturday morning?"
Seungmin backs up against his seat, looking at Felix like it wasn’t glaringly obvious he did. "Uhm, me?"
"Sadly," Felix whispers under his breath but the camera and Seungmin hear it perfectly.
Seungmin heads out their driveway, steering the wheel effortlessly to the left to maneuver until they’re steadily going on straight.
"All you do is play games. What about me?" but then Felix looks at the camera, lifting up an eyebrow as Seungmin sounds ridiculous right now.
"You’re only saying this because I’m recording it.”
“Yeah, I’m making your content more fun,” Seungmin does not deny it, but continues on his pretentious speech. “I'm not past games because they are occasionally fun. But to be playing twenty four seven, seven days a week? No thanks."
"Exaggeration, bub."
"Your obsession with video games is an exaggeration."
Felix just laughs liberally in response to his boyfriend's petulant attitude even as Seungmin continues controlling the car with his left hand on the steering wheel while the right reaches over to link hands with Felix.
12:17 PM
*Beep*
"Ooh! Devil May Cry!"
"I’ve finished that already, remember? And the special ed." Felix comments distractedly, looking at all the games displayed on the shelves, his pointer finger trapped between his teeth when he can't find what he's looking for. Seungmin continues recording his boyfriend as he trails behind him.
"Oh, and the final boss fight?"
"Yeah. I said Farewell, Dante in December."
"See. Your obsession is unhealthy. I just got you that game in November."
“Yes, thanks to you. You got me that game as soon as it was released.” Felix is out of frame for a while, rows of video games in view, but a loud smack is heard in the background. He appears again after a second, eye smile showing. “I just kissed his cheek, he’s blushing.”
Felix ignores Seungmin for the time being, still searching for a certain game Seungmin doesn't even have a clue about. The only video games Seungmin knew were the ones Felix frequently plays or really popular ones everyone raves about on the internet.
They turn another corner, Seungmin getting more agitated the longer he spends walking around in the store, before a worker is walking over to them with an urgent hand held out in front of them with a DVD. "Sir, you were looking for Resident Evil Village?"
Felix lights up with wide eyes and the camera captures it perfectly. He squeals into it briefly, before he says thank you to the staff with a bow as he turns to Seungmin and the camera turns off.
12:35 PM
*Beep*
"Sorry about that. I was so excited to pay that I toggled it off heh.”
The camera starts out in a blur and refocuses to show Felix and Seungmin. They seem to be skipping with the wild bounce of the frame.
“Since you finally got the video game you wanted after searching for like a half hour, what now?”
“Can we stop at Toby’s so I can get myself a flat white?" Felix sweetly asks as soon as they sit down on a bench in the middle of the mall.
Seungmin snorts. "Didn’t you just have coffee this morning?"
"So?"
Seungmin looks at Felix, shaking his head, but he had a hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Sure, okay. Only if we hangout at the arcade afterwards."
“Deal.”
“Just 5 more minutes, I think my knee hurts a bit.”
“Signs of aging,” Felix teases. “But I think my arms hurt too from carrying the selfie pod around. We’ll see you in the arcade already, guys.”
The video ends with a footer that says, “We ate lunch for a bit, but my arms hurt so that part wasn’t filmed. Sorry about that.”

*Beep*
Felix looks at the camera with a tiny pout, making sure the camera also shows Seungmin who’s sipping on what looked like milktea. He offers it to Felix's direction briefly, Felix sipping the sweet drink with a toothy smile when he looks at the camera with a pearl between his teeth.
They’re in what appears to be a small racing booth for two players. Each with a steering wheel, Felix cues “Let’s wreck this!” as Seungmin sets his drink somewhere unseen. Their movements are wild as they steer the wheel and both their eyes are dilated in concentration. They lean forward once or twice, moving back together in sync.
In the timelapse that follows, they get in a few more games like DDR and it’s evident Felix gets in rhythm faster than Seungmin, but perhaps their time together also allows Seungmin to fall in step with his boyfriend.
They can be seen laughing together and slapping each other silly as it winds to a part where they play air hockey where Seungmin wins most times and Felix is complaining that he should let him win even just once, so that’s what Seungmin does. He lets Felix win just once.
The next they’re in a karaoke booth where Seungmin belts out notes. The video switches speed to highlight Seungmin’s singing parts as Felix hypes him up in the background. It’s like that for a while, with them seated cramped in a booth together until the video shows them in a photobooth. The video pauses to show a new pose where they’re wearing matching cat and dog ears and paws, making kissy faces, smiling at each other, arms around each other, making finger hearts. The best one is a shot where they’re making faces and that one where Felix squishes Seungmin’s face in a pretend-headbutt.
It normalizes when they’re out of the photobooth and they seem to be walking out of the arcade. “Little backstory before we leave, guys. This is where Seungmin won Ryan for me. You remember the big plush baby I always have with me on my live streams? Isn’t Seungmin the sweetest?” He makes a pouty face before Seungmin covers the entirety of his face with his big hand. “Mean!”
Seungmin turns the camera to himself. “I’m really just a slave, guys, not a boyfriend. Sometimes an errand boy, too.”
“Hey.” Felix could be heard in the background and then a *Beep*
Then the next is a timelapse again of what appears to be a throwback video of Seungmin and Felix playing a claw machine game and a disclaimer text on the side that reads. “In Korea, claw machine games are just in between streets or have their own game parlors. You find one in 2 out of 6 neighborhoods like Sinsa and Hongdae. This is an excerpt from when Seungmin and I played it before, not exactly part of a day in the life but I just wanted to share this info. The arcade footage just felt incomplete without a claw machine T____T Xx”
4:03 PM
*Beep*
Felix is back in the living room of his house when the video clears.
"He literally hasn't put the game down since we've been home and beat me to it to try it first," Felix stresses as he flips the view which shows his boyfriend. Seungmin doesn't even cast a look at him to show he had been listening. Instead, he curses under his breath, thumbs repeatedly pressing buttons so frantic and hard, it's a miracle the remote is still held together in one piece.
Felix turns the camera to the side so it records the game Seungmin is playing for a few seconds flashed on the television set.
"This is unfair," Felix admits sheepish, getting on the couch with a satisfied stretch. "I'm taking a nap. Let me know when you’re done mocking me," he says aloud, but knows his boyfriend isn't even listening like he is himself when immersed in his game.
Felix knows it's a good thing he accidentally left his camera recording by the television - cause then it shows Seungmin getting up and coming into frame a few minutes later. He seemed to have fetched a blanket from Felix’s room. He talks into the camera for a bit, “He easily gets cold like this, so I got a blanket.”
He tip toes over to Felix, trying to be as quiet as he can and kisses his forehead and drapes a blanket over him before slipping back into his game in front of Felix.
4:45 PM
*Beep*
Felix rubs his tired eyes in front of the camera, yawning. "I can't believe I napped when you were playing. And it’s just 4:45 in the afternoon.” He talks to the camera positioned by the television set and says, “He easily gets bored playing my games, anyway."
"Ugh, you're telling me," Seungmin is seen stretching on the couch and Felix turns back around to sit on his middle. The couch is spacious, but he chooses to sidle and bend down to cuddle up with Seungmin so they can share the blanket. He seemed to have changed TV modes with the static sounding in the background, flipping through channels with boredom evident on his face. "Why is there never nothing good nowadays."
"There is. You're just not looking hard enough."
"I literally browsed the channels three times."
"Then how about Netflix?"
Seungmin's head perks up at that. He smirks and winks over at his boyfriend like the annoying ass he is. "Netflix and chill?"
"You're so ugh." Felix grabs a throw pillow to hit his boyfriend's head with, but he doesn’t mean it. He puts it down when Seungmin catches his hand and gets all serious as he asks, “Okay, what did you wanna watch?”
“A Disney marathon’s good.”
“Again?”
“Then maybe we can watch Ghibli like Jisung suggested last time.”
“Mm, okay.”
They soon settle in a comfortable position, only their heads peeking out from the blanket. Seungmin has his chin atop Felix’s head and a pillow clamped between Felix’s legs. It time lapses again and shows them in all sorts of facial expressions.
6:13 PM
*Beep*
"We’ve got Minnie Mouse in the House once again," Felix announces dramatically when he steps into the kitchen.
Seungmin looks over his shoulder and stops stirring the rice, smiling at the camera and his boyfriend. "Dinner's almost ready," he turns down the stove so it's on low.
"I'm so lucky it’s not burnt this time," Felix proudly beams, taking a seat on the stool by the island counter, drumming his fingers against the granite in listless fashion. "Always serving me like his king."
"You only love me for my cooking."
"Mmm that depends. I am neither confirming or denying that," Felix jokingly replies back, though to be fair he doesn’t sound like he’s joking. Seungmin rides with it and pretends to be hurt by placing a hand over his heart. Felix only shoves him in response even more.
"Bub, can you get me a soda from the fridge?" Seungmin leans back against the counter, like he couldn't just walk a few more steps and do it himself. “Coke would pair well with steak.”
“Why not wine?”
“Cause I’ve literally poured it all over the rice already.”
"Alright, lazy," Felix rolls his eyes, setting the camera down on the counter, hopping off the stool to get the soda. When Felix's back is to Seungmin, it makes sense to the smaller one on exactly why Seungmin didn't want to get the drink himself.
A loud beating sound, akin to a drum, can be heard echoing throughout the kitchen, as well as Felix's surprised gasp and mouth formed into an ‘o’. "Seungmin!" he yells, whipping his head around to glare at his immature boyfriend, who’s head was thrown back followed by his raucous evil laugh.
"And I only love you for your cute bum."
8:16 PM
*Beep*
"I'm actually toast, I’m meltiiiiiiing," Felix whines, dabbing bead sweats on his forehead with a balled up tissue. The faint sound of the shower running can be heard in the background.
"I told you to join me," Seungmin opens the shower curtain a tiny bit, water droplets dripping down his face. He glances at the camera and then his boyfriend sitting on the closed toilet lid before he retracts his face back in the shower almost just as fast.
"I almost died last time."
"Only because you turned the tap on."
“Why are we even talking about this right now?” Felix dismisses what Seungmin's so obviously getting to, turning the camera around so it shows him sitting on their toilet. "Anyways, this is a part of the vlog. If we were both in the shower, there'd be nothing to record."
"There could be-"
"Anyways!" Felix repeats again, much louder this time so he talks over whatever Seungmin’s trying to say. Seungmin's boisterous laugh is ten times louder in the bathroom and it has Felix sneering, blocking his ear with one hand. "The comments asked for a house tour, so I’m giving them a view of the bathroom.”
"All you're doing is recording you and our shower curtain, bub. Even I know that's not a house tour."
"Ugh shut up," Felix playfully rolls his eyes. He continues recording himself doing silly faces - knowing his viewers are gonna end up screenshotting for meme purposes. He even shows a few of the hair and face products he uses before having no choice but to call it quits. "Okay, I know I just said this was a part of the vlog but I'm sweating in here with that damn steam and the camera keeps fogging up anyway so I'll just turn it off for now."
10:25 PM
*Beep*
It’s dark and Felix is neon when he comes into view. Seungmin likes it when the bedroom light is off, so Felix was just trying to be considerate even if it’s half annoying and he has to turn the night vision mode setting of his camera. "I’m in bed, guys,” he starts. “He's so annoying," Felix whispers, looking down to his left, "It's only like half past ten."
There's a groan coming from his left but then the room is back to being dead silent. "Well, I guess I'm calling it a day too. I'll edit this video tomorrow morning for Monday's upload," Felix promises, giving the camera his infamous eye smile.
"I hope you all enjoy this. My life is simply this and I hope you appreciated it even if it’s not as grand as you thought it would be," Felix admits, laughing softly, wondering just what his viewers think about him, not that it matters.
"Ugh, you're still recording?" Seungmin grumbles, his voice sounding ten times huskier, thick with sleep. He turns around and grabs the camera from Felix's hands.
"Hey! I wasn't don-"
"Goodnight guys. My boyfriend here needs to turn this off and sleep. So thank you for watching - um, I'm half asleep. Hold on," he groans, tightly closing his eyes as he thinks of what to say.
"Wait, I need to do the signature ending," Felix grabs the camera again, but his boyfriend has fast reflexes and grabs it back just as fast and spoons him in the process so the camera captures them lying on their sides in bed together. The camera is in front of Felix’s face from where Seungmin holds it out with his arms outstretched from behind Felix. Felix sighs, but doesn’t protest when Seungmin wraps an arm around his middle with his other hand and keeps him in place, kissing his neck before laying cheek to cheek with Felix. Felix grins wide, loving sleepy Seungmin since sleepy Seungmin was an extremely cuddly Seungmin.
"Your favorite vlogger, Felix, hopes you guys enjoyed today's video. If you did, leave him a big thumbs up. Follow him on Twitter and Instagram if you do not already and no one almost died in the bathroom this ti-” Felix cuts through, elbowing Seungmin who complains with an, “Ow!”
Felix continues Seungmin’s unfinished speech, “Follow my dandy and groggy boyfriend’s SoundCloud if that interests you too. I’ll leave the links in the description box below. Have a fantastic weekend and I'll see you right back next week with a livestream of me playing Nier! Peace! Until the next vid guys!" Felix shows a peace sign and the video blacks out transitioning to Felix’s end frame where it shows two follow-up videos. There’s a disclaimer at the bottom which says, “*Seungmin made a song with 3RACHA’s Changbin titled ‘Piece. It’s the song playing in the background!!’”
There’s a sign that points up to one video where it says, “I made a song for Seungmin with the help of 3RACHA’s Changbin”. The thumbnail is set to a photo of Felix and a guy who’s supposedly Seo Changbin and one video titled “Seungmin agreed to do the boyfriend tag” where it shows Seungmin and Felix smiling.
