“Nonsense!” Chan refutes, spreading his hands wide in welcome. “There’s always someone. Luckily I persuaded my own friend to tag along at the last minute too, in case of a case like this. He’s right over -- oh, there he is. Minho!” he yells, and Seungmin freezes.
It can’t be. There are so many Minhos in the world, and in this university, there must be. It’s gotta be a different Minh--
“Lemon man!” a cheerful voice calls, and suddenly all traces of fatigue leave Seungmin’s body like a charged spirit ascending into the sky, replacing every single bodily cell with stiff resignation.
No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no--
“Wagwan, bestie. Is this my assigned partner?” Minho beams, throwing an arm around Seungmin’s shoulder and squeezing. “We’re going to have so much fun together!”

Across the road, Minho watches Jisung dancing and singing among the bell peppers and sighs softly, resting his chin on the palm of his hand from where he sits at the salon’s front desk, waiting patiently for his next booking. They’re running a little late; not that Minho minds. It gives him a while longer to admire the breathtaking greengrocer from down the street, as his hair bounces with every movement and his smile glows brighter than a thousand stars.
He’s beautiful.
⇻ Jisung and Minho fall in love through shared glances across the street from their shop windows, until a fateful night and an order of new hair dye brings them closer than they could have ever hoped.

Summary
Changbin brings Hyunjin up with Minho, too, when Miyoung is washing up before bed upstairs. He’s a master of subtlety, though. He says that if they need him to pick her up from school, he’s available.
Minho narrows his eyes at him, the same exact way Miyoung did earlier.
“You were practically crying when I asked you earlier,” he points out. And before Changbin can respond to that, say that he was just unfamiliar with how easy it was, the realization dawns on Minho and he grins like the devil. “You think the teacher’s hot, don’t you?”
Changbin splutters.
(When Minho asks Changbin to pick his daughter up from school, Changbin expects it to be slightly anxiety-inducing, but otherwise uneventful. What he doesn’t expect is to fall head over heels and develop a debilitating crush on Miyoung’s Arts teacher, Hyunjin.)

Minho was a good friend. A great friend, actually. He was always there with a shoulder to cry on, or a favorite snack, or a helping hand. So when Hyunjin informed him that he was moving, Minho didn’t think twice before offering up his car and himself.
He should have.
“You didn’t think to mention that beforehand?” Minho was staring at his friend in dismay, a box already in his arms as Hyunjin offered him a sheepish smile.
“How was I supposed to know the elevator was broken?”
“You were here yesterday to get your key!”
Hyunjin shrugged, not nearly apologetic enough for Minho’s liking, “Everything was already in your car by then, what difference would it have made?”
“I could have, like, mentally prepared,” Minho huffed, shifting the heavy box so its weight rested more on his hip and less on his arms. He was going to need to conserve his strength. “What floor are you on?”
“Fourth.”
“You’re lucky you’re cute,” the older boy grumbled.
