"Good Morning sa inyo" bungad ni Hyuck sa SM pagkapasok niya sa dance room nila.
"Good Morning din Hyuck/hyung" Nomin and Chenji chorused in greeting.
"Good Morning Renjun" He smiled at Renjun.
Renjun reciprocated the smile.
"Good Morning to you too my sun!" He greeted back.
"Ehem.. Isn't he my sun, Renjun?" Mark replied clearly annoyed.
"Oo na sabi ko nga" sabi ni Renjun habang hinihila ni Jisung at Chenle.
"Um..hyung no need to be jealous, Kaibigan ko lang naman si Renjun" Haechan said while pouting.
"Oh sunshine, I was just teasing you. I'm sorry" Mark said and hugged Haechan.
'I will miss this'
"Okay, are all 23 of you here already? We need to practice more" the dance choreo had said.
Taeyong was counting his and Kun was also counting. Nung kompleto na they proceeded to practice, until they do stunts sa De javu (wala akong idea pero i need it dito) and Haechan had his back hurting. In anyone's eyes, Haechan was fine. Pero not in Renjun's eyes. Renjun actually kept close eyes for the tanned male. And now, sigurado na siya, when Haechan stumbled back by his feet, Renjun was quick to dive under him and shield him to the floor. Making him catch Haechan and adjust his own arm so he can't fall. Everyone was in shocked. Ang alam nila walang may injury sa kanila at alam nilang they we're able to rest well.
"Okay ka lang, Hyuck?" Renjun smiled as he looked down to a teary Haechan.
"H-hmn.. But it hurts" he sniffed.
Renjun stood up like nothing ever happened and ignores the stares of the group.
"Tara sa clinic, ako na magdadala sayo. Can you stand up?" Renjun offered his hand. Hoping Haechan can walk.
"I can't. My feet feels heavy" saad ni Hyuck.
"Okay, I'll help you" Renjun knelt down on his back and tangled Hyuck's arm in his neck and slowly settled Haechan's feet for a piggy back carefully.
"Hyungs" saad ni Renjun habang papalabas ng Dance room.
"I'll take care of Hyuck muna. He's hurt. Magpractice nalang kayo. I'm pretty sure we can learn the dance" sabi nya at tuluyan ng lumabas.
"R-Renjunnie, I don't want to die" Haechan said while holding to Renjun tighter.
"Wag ka mag alala Hyuck, didn't the doctor said he'll find a way" Renjun said while caressing Haechan's arms.
Now, if you're curious as to what had happened. It happened when Haechan and the rest of Dreams practiced Boom and Ridin. In some part of the dance. Hyuck stumbled and fell backwards. He fell but everyone was shocked to see blood sa may jaw ni Haechan. Renjun acting by instinct grabbed a handkerchief and soaked it with a little water and dabbed it on Haechan's face while telling the tanned male to be careful next time.
The day after ng practice nila, they both headed to the hospital to see if may problema ba si Hyuck. With Renjun driving. Nung nakarating sila ng ospital ay nagpa check up sila. Upon check up and a series of test. They came to see that Haechan has an unbalanced body. He can't stand up with his own and that made the doctors refer him to another expert. When they went to that doctor, she had said that Haechan was suffering from spinocerebellar ataxia, a disease that deteriorates your body through time.
To say na gulat si Haechan was an understatement. He was worried, marami pa syang pangarap kaya kailangan niyang magsikap. Pero parang lahat ng yung binawi sa kanya. Without knowing what to do he cried on Renjun's shoulder. And Renjun let him. Alam nyang hindi to madali because of the members and his family. So they settled to only keeping it between them.
A few weeks after ng madiagnose si Haechan. Renjun would keep close eye to Haechan. Until, they were announced to have a project as NCT again. That night, he talked to Renjun over the phone.
(Bakit Hyuck, may masakit ba?)
(Wala naman, gusto ko lang ng kausap.)
(Hyuck, you can tell me everything naman eh. May problema ba? Dahil ba to sa kanina?)
(I'm scared. Natatakot ako kasi baka maiwan ko kayo dito)
(You're not leaving anyone soon, go to sleep. Do you want me to sing to you?)
(Yes please)
That night he slept without any nightmares.
Once he fell asleep Renjun did too.
Back to where they are now, Renjun noticed that Haechan was crying on his back.
"Hyuck, please huwag ka umiyak. Didnt you tell me may gagawin pa kayo ni Mark hyung?"
"Oo, sobrang dami pa"
Renjun settled Haechan on the bed and smiled.
"Then dont worry, after all of this is over. You'll be able to do lahat ng yun" he said while ruffling Haechan's hair.
Haechan was stunned. He never knew that Renjun has this side. The only side he knew was that he is a savage. But deep down, Renjun has the heart of an older brother.
"Renjun..hyung"
"Hyuckie.. I thought I told you not to call me that"
"I cant help it, umaarte kang parang kuya ko"
"Well, as kuya mo. Matulog ka na. Andito lang ako"
And so Haechan did.
After a good 3 hours of sleep, he awoke to a sight of a slightly worried Taeyong, a panicking Mark and a calm Renjun with a lot of ...noises?
He tried sitting up with Renjun's help and he gets hugged with each of the members. Telling him sweet words and stuffs.
"Um..hyungs okay lang ako. Okay lang naman ako." He insisted.
"No Channie you're not. Renjun said you almost fell." Mark said very worried.
"Pero Renjun caught me in time" he smiled at Renjun making two wait no make it three people jealous.
"No worries kiddo. I have your back" he said again while smiling as well.
"Pero, you and me have to go to the hospital tomorrow okay?" Renjun whispered while he nodded.
After weeks ng promotions nila he fell bedridden sinugod na sya sa hospital ng mga members. Only then nila nalaman and with a lot of explaining from Renjun. They were able to decipher that Haechan isnt healthy.
Which led to Mark crying straight to Johnny arms.
"Why him? Bakit sya pa ang bata bata nya pa johnny hyung"
"I really dont know Mark." Johnny understands Mark, he is very close to the kid after all.
After a countless of visit from the members. The doctor has said that there was no way he could do the activities he used to do. Haechan had to undergo sa isang rehab for him to walk. Kinailangan nya tumira with the Dreamies because Renjun knew how to calm him down.
Haechan was adviced by his doctor na sumulat ng mga kailangan nya pang gawin. He slowly tried to achieve it with the rest.
"Ang ganda pala dito no, Renjun. The air feels nice" he stated.
"Oo naman Hyuckie. This was your wish tama? We just granted it" Renjun smiled.
"Renjun.. can you sing for me?"

"Renjunnie, call the others. I'm so sleepy already." saad niya.
"Hm..teka" Renjun texted the rest through the groupchat and minutes later they were crowding him.
"Renjunnie.. thank you so much. I love you. Kayong lahat. Sayang lang kasi maikli lang naging buhay ko." He smiled.
"I wish to be with you longer. But it seems to me na di na pwede."
"I love you all. But i'm super tired. Can I sleep now?" He asked.
"Sure Haechan. Sure" Renjun said holding his hand.
"Thank you. I love you"
It seems that even the sun's light had died out. And NCT's sun had gone by. And with that the Neo's world just became as dark as a pitch black color.
