   Summary

   shoyou tried. he really did. dozens of missed calls and texts replied to too late, evidence that he tried to reach out. his teammates, his coach, players from other schools. if he fights his way through the dark haze of his mind, he can pinpoint when karasuno went from being his chosen family to distant strangers, when he started seeing pity in their eyes instead of mirth and affection. after his accident. even kageyama couldn’t look him in the eyes, gaze decidedly elsewhere when he passed shoyou in the hallways.
